"Congratulations... you've been evicted from the Big Brother house."

But your game isn't over.

While the remaining Houseguests continue battling for the grand prize, seven jurors are shipped off to the secluded Jury House, a place the television audience only catches glimpses of.  The competitions are gone.  The paranoia should be over.

...Or is it?

The Premise

This game would explore everything we don't see on the show.  How do former rivals live together after betraying one another?  Do bitter enemies become friends?  Who spends all day by the pool?  Who cooks? Who cleans? Who refuses to speak to someone for weeks?  How do relationships evolve when the pressure of nominations and competitions disappears?  Every eviction changes the house dynamic.  New information arrives with each juror.  Alliances are questioned.  Lies are exposed.  Feelings resurface.  By finale night, every juror must decide who deserves the win.

But before that...They still have to live together.

What to Expect
  • Character-driven storytelling
  • Slow-burn friendships and rivalries
  • Romance (if it develops naturally or carries over from a showmance)
  • Humor, drama, and emotional moments
  • Plenty of downtime scenes that the show never explores
  • Group interactions as well as one-on-one conversations
  • Flashbacks to events from the main game as jurors compare stories
Rather than focusing on competitions, this RP is about the social aftermath of the game.

Characters

Players will create original Big Brother houseguests who have all recently been evicted. Each character enters the Jury House with their own history:
  • Broken alliances
  • Secret showmances
  • Bitter betrayals
  • Unfinished business
  • Regrets
  • Friendships waiting to be rebuilt

As more jurors arrive, the social landscape continually shifts.

Writing Style
  • Third-person past tense preferred
  • Multi-paragraph posts encouraged
  • Collaborative storytelling over "winning"
  • Character development is the primary focus

Looking for writers who enjoy:
  • Rich character interactions
  • Dialogue-heavy scenes
  • Emotional storytelling
  • Realistic interpersonal conflict
  • Long-term collaborative roleplay

You don't need to know every season of Big Brother—just be familiar with the basic format and enjoy social strategy games.

If you've ever wondered what really happens between those five-minute Jury House segments, this RP is your chance to tell that story.  Because sometimes the most interesting game begins after the eviction.

I'll openly admit that I've never followed the show but I know the premise of it, so this does sound really interesting. I'll place a flag of tentative interest for now. :)

That won't be a problem.  I'm happy to explain things as they come up :)

If we get enough people in on this, are you gonna stagger the contestants in like the Jury house or is it just gonna start with the seven already in?

writingforfun40

I was thinking that we would stagger it but now that I think about it that seems hard to manage.  So we might start with all of them in the Jury house already.

I've never watched the live feeds but I've checked in every once in a while. I should start picking up the episodes at least, but I love the premise. It's definitely the one of the "big 3" that I'm least familiar with.
