Hi there!

I got the impression that a larger than usual proportion of the applicants are getting denied recently.
I think it was something around 10-15% historically (back of the envelope estimate based on published "position" of members registered in ~10 year before 2026).
Is it a summer thing?

And while I understand that every denial has its own reasons, I am curious about the general breakdown.
Are most denials (on the aggregate) happen due to underage suspicions, multi-accounting / ban evasions, behavioural red flags, or some categories?

Greetings.

We deny accounts for a fair few reasons - I won't get into the nitty gritty of why we deny some accounts however as ultimately the reasons behind a deny are between the individual denied user and our approval facing staff.

I will however say no account is denied glibly or lightly.

To be fair if someone keeps trying to sneak back in and they are denied twenty times that might look like a surge of denials but its really just one person being denied over and over. I know they have said they often aren't transparent about this on purpose so that how they caught them can't be worked around or something like that.

Obviously!

I was not asking about individual cases, but rather what are most common offences.

Oh, now I feel gullible, welcoming the same delinquent over and over...
