I just wanted to let Staff here know what was going on so they would not close my account for lack of activity or such as my attendance as been a little tardy of late.  I was still learning how thing worked here while tweaking some of my stories to meet the Guidelines (character ages mainly) so I might post them here for benefit of others and their input, format, spelling, etc., as well appreciation if worthy.

First, every thing is fine.  We doing good and getting back to normal.

About 3 or so weeks ago my partner/wife had an issue and I had to rush her to the emergency room of our local rural hospital who immediately put her in ambulance and sent her to a major hospital's cardio heart unit.  She had had a Heart Attack.

She was in the Cardio unit just over a week for tests and under going treatments and then I brought her home.

So I have not been able to spend time online as much as I have in the past caring for her and other things and did not want lose my account here for in activity.

Thank you for your patience and your time.

Hi, @Gallowsman! I'm so sorry to hear about all you and your partner have been going through the past few weeks. I'm glad to hear she's home.

You aren't in danger of your account being marked inactive/closed. The only time that (kind of) happens is when someone's e-mail address is unable to accept messages from our webmaster and even then, the account wouldn't be closed and it's a pretty simple fix.

If you ever needed to take an actual hiatus from the site, you'd just reach out to any Staff member and we can set your status to 'on hiatus'. The minimum for that is three months. Usually people choose to go on hiatus if they know they will not be able to log in for a while and want to protect account security, or if they are choosing to take a break from the site and limit their access for other reasons (school, other obligations, etc.). That obviously does not sound like the case here, but I wanted to make sure you had the information!

What you can do is create an 'Apologies and Absences' thread. Folks use their 'A/A' thread to let their partners know if they will be slow to reply to ongoing roleplays, or will otherwise be absent from the site for a period of time.

Long story short, no worries and welcome back!

I am so glad she is ok now. I myself have a spouse who had a heart attack and its scary. I can tell you from personal experience it can affect you as well and its ok if you need to take some time for yourself too. I hope you both are ok and doing well now. *offers a hug if you want it*
Some mornings its just not worth chewing through the leather straps.

Thank you, she is doing fine.  Doing a lot of running for tests right now.  She just finished a two week home monitoring and we got to go down for that data dump and see if she had any episodes that were not big enough for her to feel or anyone to see.  Thank you again for the reply.
