Anyone got an old video game they miss playing?

I miss playing starfox adventures on the gamecube. I had a lot of fun playing that just because it was a different take on the starfox series and to be fair graphics wise it had a far superior take as well. I also enjoyed the VA involved in it. I wish they would remaster it but these days they seem to be feeling more nostalgic for overdoing the 64 version.

To be honest, I liked Assault better because you get more Arwing action. And after looking at the new Star Fox coming up, I'm looking forward to the more context they added to the original story.

Missing Fallout: New Vegas a lot recently. It's not SUPER old but I've been finding myself wishing I could play it again for the first time a lot as of late.

I miss playing donkey kong country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. It was to be honest the best in the DKC series of games and not only was it challenging without pulling out your hair but it also had some great music and the dynamic of Diddy and Dixie, and, having them dating, it was not something Nintendo did a lot to be honest, not saying they haven't, but at the same time remember those instruction booklets that used to come with the game? Man I miss when video games came with those instead of like thin paper with little info at all as most of it is found on the game itself. Honestly more lazyness then anything else and people actually put time into those booklets.

Ragnarok Online

I still actually have it installed (though it most probably needs to be updated), but I've lost contact with the friends I used to play with. It's just not the same anymore. I still cherish the memories I made playing it though. It's one of my absolute favourite childhood games and it'll always have a special place in my heart

I miss an old PS1 game called Destrega. Really fun, really old, the skill to block a bolt at the exact time to send it zinging off in another direction before closing for a fisticuffs. Loved it.

FATE was a game I really loved to play as a kid. I only got to play for the like 4 times that I was able to with the wildcoins I had though. Still, each session was at least 6 hours and I had a blast with it.

I would say...final fantasy ix. Honestly never had a ps1 but had a ps2 so thankfully could play ps1 games on it. I was late to the game with the final iteration on the ps1 for the fantasy series but honestly it blew me away with its fmv cutscenes but also the story and the combat. Zidane was a different cut compared to Cloud and Squall before him. I'd say he was a precursor to Tidus in X if I am honest. It also had a quirky set of cast of characters. The love story of Zidane and Garnet or Dagger however you would call her...especially that silent bye she says because this was before VA's were brought in and such. The reunion of the two at the end was also great especially as she hits him and he is just stroking her hair as she tries to fight back the tears.

IX's so good and you can usually get the Steam release for a good price and then you can get the Moguri Mod, which is the best general mod for the game. 

OT: I was thinking about how Terrinigma is getting an updated re-release in 2027 and it made me think of how bad I want Illusion of Gaia to get a remake, especially a Octopath HD Pixel remake.

Goldeneye for the N64.
Especially since unlike most other old games I can revisit whenever,  this one was specifically for the multiplayer. 

It's also a genre I otherwise don't find interesting apart from this game and the nostalgia that comes with it.
