Both of those are good (Rita perhaps better), but in extremely different ways.  Rita is very good at getting places quickly and fighting monsters; Wendy is good at evading them.

Yeah, I'm not sure how actually useful the Flux Stabilizer is, but perhaps I'm not being imaginative enough.  Maybe if it looks like a monster is going to be too tough to handle and you just want to keep it away for one round?  Move it into a room that is on fire?  Idk.
