An Adult-Themed Post-Apocalyptic Roleplay Experience

INTRODUCTION

"War. War never changes. But behind sealed vault doors, humanity did."

Fallout 69 is a story-rich, roleplay-driven group game set in a secluded corner of the Fallout universe. Rooted in the familiar world of post-apocalyptic survival, irradiated ruins, and desperate moral choices, this game adds a distinct adult twist centered around one unique Vault and the legacy it left behind.

This setting for our game is situated in the ruins of the Pacific Northwest, where the bones of ancient Seattle stand out amidst the verdant forests that have begun to grow out of control, reclaiming the land.

Set over two centuries after the bombs fell, players explore the world inside and outside Vault 69, a once-sealed underground facility designed not merely to preserve humanity, but to transform it.

While the Wasteland beyond Vault 69 follows the classic formula: scavengers and raiders, mutants and Brotherhood patrols, fractured settlements and long-forgotten ruins—the Vault itself was home to something far more secretive. As part of a hidden Vault-Tec directive, Vault 69 was created as a long-term sexual and reproductive experiment, aimed at enhancing human fertility, adaptability, and psychological conditioning. Its goal: to study human intimacy, breeding, and social structures under confined conditions, in preparation for a post-war repopulation effort.

Vault 69 has now reopened. And its inhabitants, shaped by generations of carnal rituals, social engineering, and intimate reprogramming, are about to step blinking into the sun. But what sort of world awaits them? And more importantly: what sort of world will they help create?

CENTRAL THEMES

1. Vault Experimentation & Social Conditioning

At the heart of Fallout 69 is Vault 69 itself: a massive social experiment shaped by Vault-Tec’s hidden agenda. Here, sexual exploration, arranged breeding, hormonal manipulation, obedience trials, and psychological control were all normalized parts of life. Players from the Vault will bear the marks of this upbringing—mentally, emotionally, or physically.

Whether you embrace your indoctrination, rebel against it, or exploit it to rise in power, your character’s Vault past will shape everything you do.

2. Fertility & Survival

Vault 69 emphasized high fertility, sexual compatibility, and reproductive success. Its technology includes advanced hormone monitoring, fertility boosters, and gene-matching software. These systems may now be seen as a gift… or a curse. What happens when such practices collide with the harsh ethics of the Wasteland?

3. Classic Fallout Wasteland Adventure

Outside Vault 69, the world remains brutal and familiar. Raiders roam the highways. Settlements survive on scraps. The NCR, Brotherhood, and Enclave remnants still vie for power. Mutants, ghouls, synths, and worse lurk beyond the edges. But now a new faction—one forged in the intimacy of Vault 69—is entering the scene.

As players I want you to feel free to explore, fight, trade, negotiate, and influence Wasteland politics as in any traditional Fallout setting, with the added intrigue of Vault 69’s secret legacy.

4. Erotic Subtext, Character driven relationships

Though this game includes adult content, it is narrative-first, character-driven, and choice-based. Sex is part of the Vault’s culture, it is featured in the game to the extent that you want to explore it. The story aims to be darkly sensual and intimate while at the same time having the freedom to explore the things that you want to explore, consensually. Relationships, power dynamics, manipulation, seduction, taboo, and control are explored in immersive, thoughtful ways.

Consent and limits will be clearly defined for players. While non-consensual themes exist in-fiction, player comfort and respect are paramount out-of-fiction.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A PLAYER

A fully realized Fallout sandbox with recognizable factions, dangers, and lore.

A playable cast that includes former Vault 69 residents and native Wastelanders.

Storylines involving power structures, action and adventure, intimate rivalries, and social tension.

Deep character arcs exploring trauma, pleasure, control, submission, and resistance.

Player-driven faction creation, character conflict, and emerging politics.

(As a small addendum, I had this idea as well for a group game around the same time as Throne of Chains and I just had to share it with the world.)

You have a starting point of 5 in every attribute. A score of 5 is average. In addition you are granted 5 additional points. You can choose to spend these on any attribute you desire AND as in the actual Fallout game you can further pull points from an attribute to add into another one (every stat MUST have at least a minimum score of 1, while on the other end of the spectrum, a 10 is the maximum allowed). This will allow you to shape how your character has evolved and advanced during their life and thanks to the modified FEV experiments. I do. It was slated to officially be featured in Van Buren before the franchise was sold to Bethesda. I just really liked the name (It's fitting, catchy, funny) and I decided to repurpose it. Use it as the setting for a fictional Vault 69.

I'm a big Fallout fan and I love the idea of exploring someplace not explored in the games or tv show. I grew up in the PNW so it's close to home for me. Probably do a vault dweller, maybe a wastelander from the Columbia Pact

Well... I just got inspiration for a character, one of the science team, worked closely with a lot of the test subjects in treatments for the genetic engineering that was going on in the vault. Maybe face claim, Michael Fassbender. I'm starting to fiddle with a character sheet. So I guess I am doing this.

His musculature is wiry and compact, defined without being overly exaggerated and developed, more than suited to his career as a scientist and physician within the vault. His dark auburn hair catches hints of red in the right light and if exposed to the sunlight for too long, not that he has within the vault's confines, could even bleach out some to a more reddish hue than it's normal darker coloration. Countering this, his eyes are a sharp blue that match the blue and gold of the vault suit that he wears around most of the time like so many. He wears a pip boy 3000 on his arm, aiding him in the pursuit of his scientific endeavors. He also tends to keep a pair of glasses on his person, needing their corrective aid due to degeneration from the experiments. He is also often seen with a white lab coat on over his vault jump suit.

It lead to a rigorous education in science and math. William excelled, yet it was never good enough for his father. His mother attempted to shield him from the brunt of his fathers exacting nature, yet it was difficult never the less. Even when he placed well with the G.O.A.T. exams, earning similar placement to his father, William only received a cursory nod from his father as if it was simply to be expected of him as a Glisan. William has continued the work of his family, and vault 69, working on the genetic experimenting, helping to further refine the experiments, attempting to advance the techniques to bring out the best in humanity of those within the vault for the benefit of humankind. When his father passed he started working towards trying to fill his fathers role, eventually being let into the secret of the vault's true master and now works towards its highest goals.
