To Pass the Time! (MxA)

Hello! My name is Cal, and I am a 23M living in CST within the United States.

I am posting because it seems like this would be the perfect time for a fun ice-breaker roleplay. I say ice-breaker because it would help pass the time while I await approval. This is my first time actually utilizing a forum-style website, and it is beyond exciting to get started here! 

A little about me: I consider myself a literate roleplayer. That means, for me, I am going to strive to use correct grammar and writing style to drive a plot forward. Three paragraphs minimum is a rule I generally follow, but I don't mind changing that based off of a partner's preference. I've been roleplaying for around 8 years now, using discord or reddit in the past. I'm good with any point of view, but tend to be more comfortable writing in third-person. 

Plotline I'm looking to do: (Slice-of-Life/Romance/One-on-One/SFW)

A rural farm boy finds himself in the big city at university. Despite his parents' wishes, he wants to be the first to finish college so he can end the generational stereotype given with rural farm culture. With that comes many challenges. It's a completely new world for this character, and he needs help navigating it. That's where a perspective OC would come in to be that guide. Perhaps they become life-long friends, or maybe more. It's for fate to decide. 

(All characters and participants must be 18+)

Who I'm looking for: 

When I say MxA, I mean it! With this new development in my roleplaying experience, I want to go past my comfort zone and learn how to interact and roleplay with all kinds of writers. I may not be very experienced outside of MxM or MxF, but I'm willing to do my absolute best to adapt and show respect for any other pairing that gets worked up here.
