Hello! My name is Cal!

I found elliquiy from a comment on a reddit thread which was suggesting alternative sources for finding roleplays. 

I have read and understood the rules.

I am 23 years-old. Sort of an awkward time, but I'll be 24 tomorrow actually.

I speak English and I am from the United States. I'm in the process of trying to learn Russian as well. 

I am interested in joining so that I have a new source to help me find and enjoy roleplays. Most of the sources I've used in the past are drying up or just not at the level I am seeking, so the aspect of this community; being a dedicated forum; gives me plenty of hope that I'll find what I'm looking for. 

I have been roleplaying for eight years now!

I am completely open to interacting with this type of community and have no issues accepting or sharing such topics.

I personally do not do this, but I have roleplayed with partners that have. It doesn't bother me in the slightest, even if I may not be as comfortable to try it out myself. 

I'm not a big fan of age play at all, gore, scat, and generally anything that is a little more "extreme". Besides that, I'm pretty understanding and attitudes/habits will rarely bother me. 

I am male.

I make graphic art and have drawn some tattoos for people. Other than that, I love reading, writing, and I work on scale model kits. Oh, and I do a little gaming here and there. 

Communication is key. I would definitely just talk to them.

I strive to be literate in my writing style. Punction and grammar are important to me, and that reflects in longer reply lengths. Three paragraphs minimum is generally a rule that I follow. However, I'm open to different lengths depending on my partner's preferences as well. I can do any point of view without issue, but I lean towards third. 

It's hard to have an ideal partner because everyone is so different when it comes to their creative style. So, that's just it. My ideal roleplyaing partner would be anyone that wants to be creative and build a story with me. 

I don't mind fun/silly questions or prompts at all!

People start waking up with superpowers, but they are mostly useless. For example, the power to be immune to every third bullet, or the power to force people to do the chicken dance whenever the song is played. What would your ‘mostly useless’ power be, and how would you use it?

My most useless super power would be something powerful, but also completely unusable. I'd want the ability to teleport. However, what would make that useless? I'll tell you: random teleportation. Imagine if, when you teleported, it could be literally anywhere. That includes land, sea, or in the air! Now that's useless! I would definitely use this in time of absolute desperation. Like, a near-death experience, for example.

To answer your question: My favorite holiday is Halloween because it gives me the perfect excuse to binge horror movies.

Horror movies are good stuff! There are a few I've worn to death by years of watching around halloween but still love them a good deal.
