Hullo!

I've been floating amorphously around the RP scene since times immemorial. That said, I've been aware of Elluiquiy for quite a long time, but haven't really felt up to investing myself into it until recently. I do love writing and building characters and worlds, sometimes overly so. When it comes to plots and planning, I'm pretty flexible and generally willing and happy to hear feedback, alternative ideas and plots.

A few smaller details about me; To most people I live on the other side of the planet, so my hours will be weird to most. I'm a nerd when it comes to fantasy and dive deep down lore holes when something catches my attention. My latest obsession has been Warhammer: 40,000 (I definitely know too much). I have as much skill in drawing and art as I do at breathing underwater. Uh... Video games are my jam. RPG's, generally but there are always things that I'll end up branching out into when they catch my attention!

On the kinkier side of things, I'm pretty flexible on the characters that I write. I'm happy to write Male, Female and Futa/Dickgirl characters with a reasonable preference for the latter. That being said, my preference is pretty much to play against female characters only. I'll probably put together a kink list eventually, but I'm more than less an open book, so feel free to ask if you're curious!

Alrighty, well in that case, might as well go through them all one by one.

1. I've been aware of Elliquiy for... A few years now? I can't remember if I found it through a Google search or via another forum that I was on? I'm fairly certain it was one of them, then the other. I WILL say that it was a Google search that brought me BACK here recently though.

2. I did take a look through the rules and they do all sound like reasonably common sense as well as common courtesy. I feel confident in my ability to abide by them.

3. I cut my teeth RP'ing on GaiaOnline back when it was GoGaia, so... Yeah, I'm basically a fossil. That said, to be clear, I am above the age of 18 and of legal age.

4. I think I mentioned above that I'm on the opposite side of the planet to most people I interact with on the internet. To be a smidge more specific, I'm from Australia. The majority of my lingual familiarity is in English, with extremely scant understanding of Spanish, Italian and a tiny bit of Japanese as well.

5. As for what I'm looking for in Elliquiy? I enjoy writing. I enjoy plotting, and world building. I like character development and bouncing ideas of people that are like-minded and as enthusiastic about an idea as I am. I also do enjoy writing more adult/erotic content - I don't think there's any shame in that. I'm really hoping to find the opportunity to do just that here; plot, plan, build, and most importantly write.

6. Hm. I mentioned above, but I've basically been writing since the stone age. Easily 10+ years. I consider myself to be quite literate. Definitely not a flawless writer by any means, and there are limits to my motivation and muse, but I'm confident that I can match just about any post that I'm given to work with. Several paragraphs to short novellas, I can do.

7. I've no issues with anyone else's preferences, likes and dislikes. I have my own, and I have no desire to cause any issues over what one consenting adult wants to indulge in with another consenting adult. I've also no issues with people discussing them likes/dislikes either.

8. I've no problem if people wish to do this. I personally enjoy writing as Male, Female and Intersex characters, as I mentioned above. I have my preferences though and when writing a story with erotic pairings, my personal preference is to write against female characters.

9. Hm. There's a list of things that are guaranteed dealbreakers for me. I'm pretty certain everyone's got a few. Incest, Adultery, Watersports and Scat, Sexual Gore, Vore... Some other things that I can't think of off the top of my head? They don't sit well with me. I shouldn't even need to say it because it's against the site rules, but I'll be clear that ANYTHING even hinting at subjects involving minors will earn nothing but my purest contempt. As for things more akin to 'pet peeves'? Probably skipping over or not answer questions. I mean, I know sometimes you don't have an answer, or whatnot, but if someone asks you a question, even if it's a simple 'I don't know', or 'I've got nothing', at least acknowledge the question, yeah? I feel like that's just polite.

That's the major stuff in the questionnaire, but I'll skim through the optional stuff and answer what I feel comfortable enough to;

OPTIONAL;

A. I'm Male. I identify as Male, and was born as Male. I don't mind people knowing.

B. I think I mentioned a few above, but I'll go over them again. I love gaming, reading (currently reading through the Terry Pratchett books), getting way too obsessed with lore of random franchises, and when I have the opportunity; writing!

C. That would be something that I would have to 'pull them aside' and discuss. I mean, before starting up an RP I'd try to be as clear as I can with what I do and don't like. Even more so if the person I'm writing with has listed that something on my 'Off' list is something that they enjoy. I suppose if they insist on including it, I'd have to be clear that I'd be ending the RP at that point. Communication is incredibly important.

D. Another one that I partially got into above, but I write to match my partners. I'll comfortably sit at three or four meaty paragraphs, all the way to novella sized posts. Meaning, I'll happily go anywhere between 400 - 2000+ word count if I'm either given something really big to work with, or I'm feeling incredibly inspired. I definitely have a preference for Fantasy themes, and I always prefer to write in third person.

E. Ah. Hm. Very, very subjective. My ideal writing partner would be someone who is as excited and invested in an idea as I am. Someone who'll contribute as much as I will. Someone who will communicate when interruptions come up (life happens, it's a fact and nothing to be ashamed of or apologise for. Life always comes first). I don't need someone who'll write War and Peace with every reply, but someone who'll add to a scene, progress the plot, give me something to respond to. As for their character? Yeah, pass. The ideal character is one that they come up with, are in the headspace of, and can thoroughly and realistically (insofar as the setting of the RP) write.

F1. I mentioned above that I'm an open book. Shoot your questions, silly or otherwise! Worst case is I'll decline to answer, right?

F2. My 'mostly useless power' would be to compel my, and only my dog to come when I call him, no matter how distracted he is. I'd love to let the little bugger off leash at a park nearby, but he gets INCREDIBLY distracted and I don't have faith that he wouldn't run off chasing something he shouldn't be. I'm working on it, but it's slow going.

G. Questions for you? This is always one of the worst parts of an interview... First question; is there a 'Dark Mode' for Elliquiy? I know some other forums can be set that way, and I do like dark themes (for website colouring). If not, no dramas, my eyeballs won't melt. I think? Otherwise, I feel like I'll put my hand up if something stumps me. Nothing for now, I think?

Hiya!

Totally understandable!

As for my best trait; I WANT to say it's my flexibility in planning, plotting and trying to include/incorporate other people's ideas into what I already had walking into the room. I've had a fair few attempts at setting up RP's where other people have been insistent on sticking to the idea that they had without modifications or alterations and... Well, I feel like RP'ing is a collaborative effort and I'll do what I can to make it fun for everyone involved.

As for my WORST trait? Commas. I've been told multiple times that I run on sentences using too many commas. Non-grammatically? Overthinking. I have a bad habit of getting too caught up in the minutiae when planning and plotting. More often than not, the 'Todd Howard' approach (It just works!™) is all that's needed, but I'll keep asking the silly questions like, 'but WHY are these two lands at odds? What event started it? What other things have been done to perpetrate the animosity?' etc, etc. Don't even get me started on when MAGIC is brought up! Yeah, I've killed motivation before by dragging the planning stage out too long with stuff like that.
