Yep cause I am looking at picking up thing like the  Blink teleport core ability, Markerlight Full tech  action  Neurospike ability From SSC The fade cloak quick action which lets me Phase through obstructions and what not. Some of SSC. Alot of the  Invisible related stuf from SSC. So a very mobile  harrier hacker and Electronic warfare designed around increasing heat to  help other units on the team get to the point where enemy mechs take double damage from overheating. Some of the other special quick actions for hacking are  going to be my main focus.  The hunter logic suite Full tech action. Also looking to pick up the veil rifle which lets me hit in a line and if allies are in that line the don't take damage but get soft cover.

Quote from: Terian on May 04, 2025, 01:48:06 PMYeah, there's absolutely nothing wrong with going artillery boat here, they're balanced with melee.

Mind you, I kind of had the idea of going with a support/controller type too, so I'm a little worried we'll have some overlap.
I honestly thought support/control on this game meant. Oh I'll just hack your system so you can't go anywhere.

Haven't determined my full load yet, but I have to at least try to take advantage of the talents I pick. But loading it full of limited shots isn't smart either.

Some builds rely on paracausal mazes and breaking reality. Others just cast laser or fist and are just as efficient  ;D

I'm firmly on team I Cast Fist.

EDIT: Also, Lux, you do say 'PM me the sheet' in the opening post, but what exactly constitutes a sheet as far as completion sake's goes?

So I have a pair of siblings. A concept I’ve been wanting to play for some time.

Namid was originally just a mech mechanic. But can work in pilot too. She just works on her own rig, and her siblings. Which I may turn into a guy. lol

Here is a small introduction to the characters I’m toying with. Working on backstory. And attempting a sheets as well lol
I think that’s right? The sheets aren’t working on my tablet. Sorry. I am a bit lost on building the mech.

Narazu Harazuki 24 callsign Shadow background noble
Triggers: assault, take someone out, charm, get a hold of something
Talents: bonded (Namid), vanguard, infiltrator
Armor: assault hard suit +3 hp, armor 1, evasion 8, ED 8, speed 3
Weapons:alloy composite weapon medium, signature weapon heavy light machine gun
Gear: flex suit, pros collar, mag-clamps
Hp6
Personality
Bold, Brash, confident, stubborn, impulsive, headstrong, protective, rebellious and all around general badass. Yeah, that would be Narazu
in a nutshell, at least that would be what he said or the most he was willing to admit to. Narazu certainly is a force to be reckoned with and has gained a name for himself in many ways. Not all of those names are good ones either. But he is passionate and stands strong when pushed, especially when it is about something or someone he cares about.

Not nearly as smart as his sister Narazu excels in other areas and has learned to capitalize on them. In his fights, he never allows himself to quit, even when at his limits. Narazu see's them as something he simply has to work harder to surpass. But he isn't all hard ass and no play. He can throw a cold one back, play the betting mans game and chill with the best of them. His rebellious nature has at times gotten him into trouble, but it has also gained him a bit more in return. As he is known for being one able to get just about anything someone needs smuggled into base. Though that has never been proven. He supposes you can add smooth operator to his list of traits as well.

History
Narazu is the eldest son of the Harazuki family, the very family that owned Genotech. They were one of the main competitors when it came to bionics and genetics and implementing them into the latest tech. So, one can easily see the expectations placed upon the firstborn son.

Narazu dealt with his life, suffocating as it was. At least it came with perks. The luxury he grew up in was top-notch. But that didn’t mean his father let him slack. Lessons on business, languages, martial arts, and anything else his father deemed necessary. And god forbid you fail. The consequences were dire and immediate.

Life continued this way till little Namid was born. Their father couldn't care less about a daughter. And their mother lost her fascination with Namid the moment she learned to say no. So big brother Narazu picked up the slack. Making her laugh, letting her sneak into his bed when the monsters were out, and comforting her when she was overwhelmed.

You see Namid wasn’t like other kids, her brother figured that out when she was three and doing his homework. He made the mistake of telling their parents. They of course had her tested and scanned, her potential measured. And the thing was the doctors didn’t know the limits of her mind. Everything she studied came as easy as breathing. However, her ability to comfortably interact with people was stifled.

Narazu did his best to help Namid find her voice. But he was ever the protector. Namid was put into private lessons and even excelled in them.  But was utterly isolated from the world. Narazu hated it, hated watching his little sister fade away. His emotions erupt when their father said he was sending her to some think tank. Something about it seemed off. But there was no changing the old man’s mind.

So instead of simply letting it happen, Narazu woke Namid up late that night and together they were off. There was no real plan, but they had credits and freedom. So they just ran from city to city. Their father's influence unfortunately followed them. There had to be a place he couldn’t touch them?

It was then Namid was spotted talking to a mech pilot. A surprise for sure, but she was talking tech. So she was in her element. Namid explained some simple adjustments. Some that would enhance his mech reactions and a few parts that she’d get rid of because they were redundant anyway. The weight being removed would only increase his speed and reduce drag.

Narazu laughed and explained how she was an honest-to-goodness genius. After a while, they got to know more pilots, and things just clicked. Like a lightbulb flicking on, Narazu realized that their father couldn’t touch them if they signed up. But could Namid handle it? They talked for a long time. And in the end, they decided together they could face anything. So in the list, they did, and Lancers is what they became. Namid was a coveted gear designer, repair artist, and hacker who always had her drones close by. So beware! They are always watching. Narazu gained a reputation for being a monster in a fight. Both in a mech and out of it. His unit (which Namid is part of) is known for breaking through the lines, or strategically outmaneuvering the enemy.

Personality
Namid is an odd little duck for sure, she is shy when it comes to dealing with people. Especially when it is in large groups.  But when it comes to her work she excels, always improving on the tech around her. A trait people capitalize on often. She gets lost to her projects, even forgoing eating or sleeping in an effort to finish them. Pushing her body to its limits until she finally gives. But her stubborn will and eager mind simply won't let her quit.

Though she is shy Namid tends to warm up to someone when treated kindly. And she begins to open up a bit when she gets to know someone, or more when they get to understand her. She can come off as sweet and curious, yet firm when it comes to properly using or treating her creations with respect. Silly at times, those close to her even know her weakness for snacks. And tend to bribe her with them from time to time. Specially when they wanted something custom.

Social awkward at times, she tends to make quick exits when becoming uncomfortable. One of her most notable yet odd habits is the fact that she rarely talks. Some may even think she was mute until the soft sound of her voice joins the conversation. Though when she speaks it is always because she has something important to say. Namid does seem to find her voice more often when around people she is comfortable with though. It seems the more she trusts you the more of who she really is you get to see.

I wanted to check, did you specifically want the PDF filled, or is a sheet by any other means fine, like a COMPCON output?  It's not fillable by default as I can see.

A Lancer sheet of any kind that has everything we need on it will be fine!

Revelation

I do have a COMCON file for my character's stats as well, but I think the only way to share it would either be Discord or a file sharing site and I don't think I trust any of those.

If that is untenable, I'll see about kludging together a form to send out to you.

I just picked the 'Generate Statblock' option for my mecha/pilot sheet, which is one of the options off off the Pilot Options.

Words cannot describe how interested I am in this. I freaking love mech stuff.

I'll definitely join this if you will have me.

Before I start thinking of a character, is there anything you would like more of in your playerbase, like I'm perfectly happy to go male/female, tank/dps/support or anything else.

I already have multiple ideas for all categories, so I thought I'd ask to narrow it down and possibly balance things out if it's needed for the group.

The game aspect is a post by post basis, likely to be slower than a scheduled group session.
But it could go by quickly, depending on some weekdays or weekends.
