Animal attacks are not a common occurrence on college grounds, especially when it's in the middle of New York.
The first week of a new year has seen several in a single night as a group of College freshmen have all been attacked and bitten. All police reports indicate the creature was some kind of very large dog but the next morning none of the victims had any injuries, in fact they all feel great, better than ever before.

A connection has formed between these students that none of them can explain and every night they are plagued by dreams of something dark, calling on them to hunt, to kill.

Looking for a group of people to join me in playing these young students as they navigate the world, newly infected with Lycanthropy. Also would love to find someone to play a mentor like character. Perhaps a teacher at the University who is either also a werewolf, or is at least knowledgeable about them.

Kokaine

I'm a sucker for wolves >.>

I'd be down to make a character in if this gets going.

Howdy, I'm potentially interested. I'm new to the site but have RPed for many years. Been a long time since I've done a group story though.

azzmeister89

Welcome to the site then. Glad to have you here. I'll probably need a few more players before I can say this is definitely happening though. Four more should do it.

Roxve

I just realized something, I've asked to join your other werewolf game too. I didn't even realize it was also yours until now. I guess not many new werewolf games out there right now.

azzmeister89

Unfortunately not many are doing them but I'm going through a phase of really enjoying werewolf stories right now and love coming up with new and interesting ways to do them. I think Vampire stories have over shadowed them quite a lot in media so werewolves deserve some love.

Roxve

I completely agree, I just find vampires entirely overrated.

I’m down to do some werewolf writing

Werewolves are always a favourite (and the juxtaposition of playing a little college waif who's, in fact, a werewolf is very fun). Count me interested and I'll see if I can divide my time between this and the pack game, should it reboot.

Also since this is about a group of students, do you have a player cap in mind like 6 or 7? Will there be room to introduce the wolf who bit them all? A potentially established pack who might be pushing to assimilate them, depending on the lore for how lycanthropy spreads in this verse ie. bitten and born?

azzmeister89

Wow really happy to see this getting some interest as well. I think six or seven students would be an excellent number, if we can also get an older character like a teacher who can act as a mentor that would be great too.

The wolf who bites the students is originally set to be the big bad of the story but if someone is willing to play that character I'd be thrilled.

Akagi

This sounds interesting, I'm in if you will have me

I'm interested in joining as one of the students.

EDIT: I got bored and copied over a character to use here. I dunno which werewolf image I like most, so I've just got three completely different ones for now.

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3
Riley Tessier
Age: 22
Background/Personality: Riley is the kind of person who thrives in the space between contradiction and balance. A naturally athletic individual, she grew up climbing trees, playing soccer, and skateboarding through suburban streets. But while she easily fits into the world of movement and muscle, there's another side to her—an introspective, creative streak that runs deep. She sketches in the margins of her astrophysics notes, paints abstract murals in campus tunnels when no one's watching, and occasionally finds herself lost in a gallery for hours.

Although she's not shy, Riley is often quiet, choosing her words with care rather than speaking just to fill the silence. Her presence is calm, almost magnetic, and she has a thoughtful, observant way of moving through the world. People often underestimate her at first glance—mistaking her reserved nature for aloofness or thinking she’s “just an athlete.” But Riley’s depth becomes clear to anyone who gets to know her: passionate about science, fiercely loyal to her friends, and quietly ambitious.

Her choice to major in astrophysics wasn’t random. She’s always been drawn to the stars—both metaphorically and academically. The vastness of the universe gives her comfort, a sense of proportion that quiets the chaos of daily life. She finds beauty in mathematical elegance and poetry in orbital mechanics.

Despite her quiet demeanor, she has a subtle sense of humor and a love for indie music, sci-fi films, and street photography. Her room is a carefully curated mix of gym gear, astronomy posters, and half-finished canvases.

All three of those options are cool ThisOneGal.

I'll go ahead and put together a character with the same template if that's alright:

==============
Clay Arthur Reid
Age: 26
Background/Personality:

pulled from Pinterest

Clay is on a full ride scholarship thanks to being recruited to the college football team, a blessing
for his for his low income family on the West Coast. With a lot of fanfare from his small town he left

for the big city, bright eyed and bushy tailed. He's on his third year now and a bit more seasoned to
the life of the city but it didn't change him. He has a big heart and while he may like to party and
hang out with the team he's also responsible and caring offering to tutor in the afternoons and on
night watch to walk people back to their dorms and keep them safe.
People who don't know him just see a typical frat boy but this Sociology and Psychology major tends
to surprise. He goes out of his way to make everyone welcome and prefers to solve things with
calm discussion and compromise. Though he may still talk your ear off about his new protein shake
recipe he's been trying this week. He's always curious about others' backgrounds and looking for
new experiences which has lead to him knowing some interesting spots in the city to hang.
His love of late night walks makes him a prime target for an attack under a full moon.
Now, I'm not entirely sure the style of werewolves we're going for here, the brief mentions
a large dog, so I'll put down two images just in case here.

Ooh werewolves? Sign me up! ;)

Roxve

@azzmeister89 I think I would be OK with taking on the mentor role I'll just need to confirm what werewolf lore is cannon with you at some point.

Sorry this is taking so long to get to everyone. Life has been pretty hectic but I promise I'll be working on it soon.

Characters look good so far and Roxve, feel free to send me a message with any lore related questions and I'll get back to you asap

ThisOneGal

No worries; real life comes first, always.

yutohase

Awesome! Any particular things required in a character sheet? I'll try to get started on one soon.
