The game has officially opened for play, between the dates of Wednesday, May 1st and Sunday, May 5th. There will be GM events for Beltane and Cinco de Mayo, but for now, get your folks out there!

Spookers does have entertainment - live bands perform regularly and there is a full stage in the basement of the establishment.    A head chef would be welcome, as well.

Can I get a temperature check on the horror elements? I see we have a missing person, so I'm wondering are we in like Elvira style tongue-in-cheek territory, Nightmare on Elm Street over the top campy horror land, the VVitch deep atmospheric menacing mood, Hostel style everything is horrible and there's no reason to be alive type vibe, where are we on how the mood is supposed to be please? =)

Hi! Less horror, more thriller. Think Wednesday, or maybe the Haunting of Hill House… that type of vibe. 

There are plenty of reasons to be alive, people in Briarwood are just a bit panicked because people keep disappearing without a trace with no rhyme or reason.

Anyone need a bouncer type character?
Like Swayze's Dalton from Road House type? Tough as nails, but with a heart of gold when you got to know him?

Thinking maybe a little telekinetics that allow him to add power to his punches (making it easier to put down an assailant or stop a fight quickly), and maybe healing... He'd played around trying to perfect something like 'force choke' just for kicks but in the end decided it was easier and took far less concentration and effort to 'force' throat or nut punch if he had to...

Still looking for a FC, but figured I'd ask if he'd fit in somewhere?

Currently we have Beau, the head of security at Spookers. No other bouncers thus far. 

Feel free to write up a sheet once you find your FC (check the reserves in the first post of the character directory, it should be up to date) and send it over to Bane and I.

Briarwood University is open to mages only. Local public primary schools accept both humans and mages but the university is mages only. 

There are other area universities humans could go to, of course.
