Cattle die, kinsmen die
You too one day shall die
I know a thing that will never die
Fair fame of one who has earned it.

I've started scribbling a few thoughts here but not enough to put a proper thread up yet. Feel free to PM me if you want, please don't respond in that thread, and I'll probably put an interest or proper worldbuilding thread up in the coming days.

I understand you have adopted this Beastman/Isekai idea, and if you end up making a game out of it, I would also like to participate. Thank you!

No worries. If/when I get around to running it, I'll post a thread up in this group so everyone can see it.

So, I've decided that I will run with the idea of a group game, and have started a world building thread up here if you want to have a look at what I have in mind

I'll do a proper write up for an interest check soon, probably after work tomorrow.

Beastman update;

Rodentia – The Small Folk

Rodentia is the shared name for the collective alliance of mice and ratfolk, two related peoples who share deep family ties, similar physiology, and an intricate web of mutual protection and social obligation. While different in demeanor, they often coexist in the same warrens or Undercity blocks, with the mice tending toward peacekeeping and the rats toward… everything else.

---

Mouse Beastfolk (Whisker Kin)

Structure & Culture: As previously defined—brave, communal, built around large family dens with strong leadership from elder caretakers.

Traits: Gentle, bold-hearted, protective in numbers, excellent builders.

Chews: Occasionally, but much more controlled than rabbits.

Views on Humans: Protective when possible, but practical. Mice believe in survival above sentiment, yet they often adopt lone or weak humans into their dens—especially if they remind them of kin.

Likes: Shared meals, close bonds, hidden tunnels, tactical planning, loyalty

Dislikes: Betrayal, loneliness, being underestimated, cats

---

Ratfolk (Rats of the Rodentia)

Structure & Culture: Unlike their mouse cousins, ratfolk live in looser, more cunning bands often led by the most clever or charismatic of the group. More scattered and self-serving, but intensely loyal to their own.

Personality: Street-smart, sharp-tongued, mischievous, and occasionally intimidating. Ratfolk are often the spies, smugglers, or “problem solvers” of the Rodentia.

Lifestyle: Live in the shadowy under-paths of the Undercity, in forgotten corners or mobile dens. Known for making use of everything—nothing is wasted.

View on Humans: See humans as valuable assets… or leverage. They’ll trade them, hide them, smuggle them—whatever gets them ahead.

Other Races: Mistrusted by many, but never ignored. Their reputation precedes them, and it's usually earned.

Likes: Secret tunnels, overheard secrets, knives, gambling, favors

Dislikes: Bright light, betrayal, being called vermin, public attention

---

Hyena Beastfolk (The Laughing Clans)

Territory: Tend to roam borderlands or fractured badlands between larger blocs. No true homeland—just a trail of scavenged or conquered land.

Structure: Matriarchal like real hyenas, often ruled by fierce females with subordinate males beneath them. Strength, ferocity, and wit are key.

Culture: Seen as chaotic and unpredictable. Known for their cruel humor, brash confidence, and dangerous group loyalty.

Lifestyle: Mix of scavengers and raiders. Will trade, steal, or fight—whichever benefits them more.

View on Humans: Often disdainful, but amused by them. Some keep them as pets, others fight them in pits for sport.

Other Races: Distrusted by many, feared by more. Known for bullying foxes and testing wolves in battle. Avoided by rabbits.

Likes: Laughter, bones, dominance games, feasting, chaos

Dislikes: Authority, delicate manners, boredom, losing face
