Three good things today

Today:

some sunshine
very good chats
a comfortable armchair

I love the caramel flavor in my hot drinks, especially during the winter!   
On any given day, it would cheer me up.

Hmmm. Three good things today....

1) I got antibiotics for my stomach bug, and the clinic I went to this afternoon was crazy fast and nice about it
2) Nice short work day!
3) I bought some new videogames and am excited to play a few of them, as well as the dead-tree copy of a solo tabletop rpg I've been super excited to play!

1) feeling good about my writing and wrote a lot today
2) enjoying a snack I like a lot but couldn't find in my local grocery store again until recently
3) Feeling confident about my sketching/color work after messing about with acrylic markers a dear friend got me <3

Woke up to a lovely text from my partner.
Made a yummy piece of salmon for lunch.

and hmm.... I don't have to hide my new tattoo today!

Aw thanks! It's been some time since I picked it up, so all the 1.6 updates are still surprising me.

The green rain scared the heck out of me at first, not gonna lie!

For me today:

I took a personal day to recover some energy.

I had rewards for a burrito and a drink at Chipotle, so lunch was free today.

My doggos are being so calm and sweet. (They're usually hyper af so this is amazing)

I woke up with no aches or pains.

I found a most wonderful response to one of my story requests in my inbox!

and.... hmm....

Oh! I found out maybe there is bright new shiny things in stardew valley!! <3

Had a friendly chat with my aunt

Got a lot of work done that needed finishing

Found a way to hopefully solve some problems between several people I know and appreciate

I had time to listen to more of my audiobook.

I got a good price on steak so dinner tonight is gonna be goooood.

I got home in good time because for once the Department of Transportation in my state actually A.) had a good idea and B.) saw it through to the end.

I had some delicious barbeque chicken tonight.

I bought the supplies for a party tomorrow... responsible adult for the win.

Got my mom some medicine delivered to her home since she was sick and wanted to stay in.
