Wiki tells me that was changed in the 2009 refit, which is also when they put in the ozone bubblers.  Definitely would have prevented the peeling, but I wonder if the move away from tiles had anything to do with the amount of leakage there used to be.  (It's still apparently pretty bad, but better than previously.)

So, a fun fact that I learned recently (watching a video on Organic Superconductors) - the list of nominees is kept secret for 50 years.  People can say he's been nominated, but literally no one outside the committee and whoever sent in the nomination will actually know.  If anyone did, and isn't just yanking people's collective chains.

I made a joke to Little Oni that he should get an igNobel (although that's usually for semi-ridiculous scientific research - like painting cows to reduce fly-bites) - and she suggested an 'Anti-Nobel'.  If brought into close proximity of an actual Nobel prize, it will explode into a shower of fundamental particles.

The bill passed both houses with bipartisan support almost two weeks ago, and Trump has been refusing to sign it unless Congress passes his 'SAVE Act' (which would create massive upheavals in people being able to vote).  What Donny Boy slept through in Civics class is that he had a deadline to make that decision.  He had ten days to either sign or veto the bill, or it would become law automatically. 

Not that a veto would have really been an issue, as long as everyone voted the same way - and it's a really popular bill among just about everyone's constituency (midterm elections, baby!).  The only people who really aren't fans of it are corporate landlords, who are now facing restrictions on nomming up tons of real estate to slumlord over.

woop there it is, one of the true reasons he attacked Iran. Creating a problem where there wasn't one before and now he expects everyone else in the world to pay for something that had been free to use before he started his war.

Funny things are happening with these Magas, all the red hats are now being replaced with no War in Iran posters.

Santee (small city within SD country) coined "KlanTee" now longer has Trump merch stores on the corner or Maga flags wavers or anti-tras/bathroom nonsense.

It has been replaced by "No War on Iran" posters but not a single red hat in sight, HOWEVER they are the same fucking people.

We do not hate these people enough and I look forward to asking them where the red hats are now.
