The lewd handbook (which I have started using as an optional ruleset in my games) is a very fun handbook that adds some spice and interesting things into the game which allows lewd stuff or even lean to lewd side. Usually, I house rule in my tables (when lewd handbook is used) to allow casters one additional spell known/spell slot per spell level to pick a lewd spell if they so desire (and some lewd spells can have some interesting combat applications; like spell which conjures a stock is a good way immobilize some enemy).

One thing I want to ask the DM: how do you feel about the Blessed of Corellon?  Basically they’re elves who can change sex during a long rest.  There’s no rules for being one beyond asking the DM and getting the okay.  Page 44 of Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes if you want more detail.

I've got some questions about the Lewd Handbook. It started off sounding like an extension to the 5e core rules. That is, when/if sexy times are happening, use these rules.

Then I hit the standard conversions, and it began to sound like the regular 5e fighting was going to be replaced with Seduction and Sex. This was reinforced with the custom sub-classes that have a heavy sex theme. 

Additionally, there are some hard core kinks (Non-Consent, Slavery, Sadism) in the Lewd Handbook. I noticed that your previous game was in the NC section. Are you planning on running this game there?

Standard Conversions: 
Melee attacks can be directly converted to Direct Sexual Advances.
• Spells and other effects can be directly converted to Indirect Sexual Advances.
• Damage can be converted to Stimulation of the same type, as shown in the Stimulation By Type table below
• The poisoned condition can be converted to either the intoxicated condition or the hyperaroused condition, as Decided by your DM
• Damage Resistances and Vulnerabilities can be converted directly to stimulation or inverted as Decided by your DM

I was hoping this would be more traditional DnD (fighting monsters, rescuing dudes/damsels in distress, solving mysteries) with a bit of sex on the side. More R-rated with mature themes than X-rated with mainly lewd themes. 

Overall, what's the theme/intent of the Large Group Game - adventuring with a side of sex, or sex with a side of adventuring? Will you do some group/collective Offs or rely on player vs. player conversations?

It will mostly be on a case by case basis. If someone wants to run a scenario they'll have control over what the tone and themes of that scenario is, providing it doesn't violate the rules of the game or E. So you can find a GM or start your own thread with the themes you want to see.

So those are optional rules in regards to the conversions, largely intended to be used for converting monster and NPC attacks. The subclasses lean pretty heavily into those rules but stuff from the lewd handbook are not required to be taken.

If you want to make a completely normal character with just the stuff from the player's handbook then that's absolutely fine. The lewd handbook is for those players and GMs that want to us it.

My goal is to create a fantasy game where players can find the type of scenarios they want without having to run it themselves or spend months looking.

Let me start with an apology. My posts sound judgmental (critical), which is not my intent. I'm trying to understand your intent so that I can better decide whether to participate and, if so, how I can assist. 

My understanding from your post below is

• The GM sets the tone of an adventure (with the players' consent). 
• The Lewd Handbook is optional and can be used in pieces.
• The Large Fantasy Group would be an exchange where GMs and players can connect for specific adventures.

A key question is whether it was planned/intended that characters could go on adventures hosted by multiple-GM.

XGtE has an appendix on Shared Campaigns, which mirrors my experience running a Shared Campaign. If the intent is to allow characters to play with multiple GMs, there are a few points where guidelines (rules) are needed across GMs:

• Character Creation
• Advancement (Leveling)
• Treasure (Gold and Magic)
• Allowable Sources (specific WotC sourcebooks, or 3rd party Homebrew)

Note that GMs can change these things within the scope of an adventure. For example, granting extra treasure (items from the Lewd Handbook) or allowing a character to take advantage of a race or sub-class from the Lewd Handbook. These would only be within the scope of the adventure.

@RedKnight No need to apologize, I didn't take it as anything more then asking for clarification and for information seeking.

The first part of your post is pretty spot on. Myself and the other person that is helping me moderate the game will have the final say if someone breaks the rules of the game but, otherwise, each GM will have control of the thread/scenario they are running.

The lewd handbook and everything in it is completely 100% optional. If you want to make a wizard that uses the bimbomancy subclass that is just as acceptable as being an illusionist. The same goes for GMs running a scenario, they can just use the sex rules during a thread centered on romance or they can fill a haunted house with very smutty magic items the book has.

The large group game would be more like a living world, instead of an exchange, your adventurer can simply sit around the tavern and have fun with other adventurers or townsfolk (some of which my be players as well) and go on adventures as they wish.

Generally speaking, threads/scenarios will only have one GM. Players can only take part in on thread at a time, since running the same character through multiple scenarios at once can be tough to keep track of and cause problems when it comes to gear, abilities, and leveling.

The character sheets will be standardized and leveling will be based on the milestone system (that feels more heroic and exciting to me cause the number based one just requires that you leave enough goblins alive to repopulate their clan and then attack them over and over to get the next level.)

Allowed sources will be universal for the campaign, GMs can restrict things they don't want in their specific thread but that's about the extent of it. For example, I run a game and don't like how they handle the echo knight subclass so I disallow it from the thread I want to run but that doesn't prevent anyone from building a character with the subclass and taking part in other scenarios.

Treasure is handled the same way, a GM wants to make a smut heavy scenario and include items from the lewd handbook that is their choice but so is only using stuff from the official books. A character obviously keeps it after the scenario ends and can do what they wish with it, assuming that the next GM doesn't wish to disallow it from their scenario. The character will still have it after the scenario is over but they can just say it got left in their room at the tavern since the GM disallowed it for that particular scenario.

It is a bit of both. You can decide what your character gets into and what they take part in. Anyone can make a thread and GM an adventure for other players, they can even have an overarching plot across their threads if they are ambitious enough.

In regards to the game as a whole, a major plot may develop involving the whole town but at the moment nothing is planned.

Think of it as a fantasy slice of life game where you can be an adventurer or a member of the town depending on you r mood and interest.

All types of pairing will of course be welcomed. A bit of both, if you make a bouncer at the tavern that is having a love affair with someone's bard then that's great but there will also be players running GM driven threads that you can join and take part in.

I'm unsure if I'll join (my free time and motivation are unreliable), but looking over the lewd handbook gave me a character idea... if a rather smutty one that I'm unsure would fit. A concubus sorceress with an extreme libido who struggles to restrain her lust enough to pursue her interest in studying magic, much less fit in with others. I imagine her being defined not by people's fear of her race, but more the challenge in finding a place for herself and room in life for her interests without rejecting her nature. So she'd have more going on and motivating her than sexual desire, but her hyperactive libido would be a central aspect of her character.

I'm alright with it, the lewd handbook has rules for similar things and the mechanics of the character don't change it's all cosmetic so I'd be fine with a character that manifest such an ability.
