What is a video game character, or team of characters, whose arsenal you think would make them an awesome tokusatsu hero? Solo acts would likely be Kamen Riders (or Ultramen if they're big enough), and teams are likely to be Super Sentai. Other toku series, or a completely fanmade arsenal, are also a good option.

Rules:
  • Characters with a large number of weapons, forms, or power-ups require a collectible gimmick item to activate them.
  • Kamen Riders can either use a canon driver and aesthetically fitting collectibles made just for them, or a new driver based on an item from their games. And don't forget the Rider Machine.
  • Don't forget Mecha/Zords when turning teams of characters into a Sentai team.
  • Characters can't be Ultramen unless they either are giant or have a giant form.
I'll start.

Dante (Devil May Cry)
Dante's armor would probably be somewhat of a mix between Wizard and Majade. It would have armor resembling Wizard's Flame Dragon form (due to the trench coat), and the helmet would look like something Majade would get, with red eye lenses, a mouth piece being the same facemask that Dante wears when using the Gilgamesh weapon, and the rest of the helmet resembling Dante's hair.

Date's Devil Driver uses items based on Orb Fragments (like the blue orbs that increase max health). One half of an orb is used for Devil Arms and other melee weapons, and the other is used for Firearms. It has one of the Wizardriver's Shift Levers on the left-hand side of the driver, allowing the user to switch between the two weapons by rotating the orb (either to put the active weapon's half on top or in front). Assuming Nero's his secondary Rider, he'd get a full orb for each of his Devil Breaker arms.

The right-hand side of the driver can attach a pistol-grip device called the Devil Trigger (yes based on both the Hazard Trigger and the mechanic from the game. It makes his armor resemble his Devil Trigger for whatever weapon he's using at the time.

I tried to pair the Devil Arms and firearms up for Best Matches, but there's way more Devil Arms than there are firearms.

The Devil Trigger is considered Dante's upgrade form, Sparda his super form, and Devil Sword Dante his final form (stage one of it being the weapon itself, and the second stage being his Majin form from the fifth game).

His Rider Machine is Cavaliere.

Bayonetta

She uses a Desire Driver, and a butterfly-motif helmet.

All of the weapons in the Bayonetta series are assigned to Raise Buckles. Her normal weapons, such as Durga, Odette, or her signature four-pistol sets, have normal Raise Buckles (equivalent to something like Magnum, Zombie, and Ninja). Weapons dropped from Angels and Demons have Armed Raise Buckles. The four-pistol sets, Umbran Armor, and Rodin are all two-part buckles, like Bujin Sword and Plosion Rage. A unique buckle is used for her Demon Slave power, summoning a demon when paired with its associated weapon. (All weapons and demons that didn't make it into the third game are up for debate on which weapon summons which demon.)

Her Rider Machine is the Dead End Express.

A buckle for Demon Masquerades is used for her upgrade form, Rodin as her super form, and another buckle for Deadly Sin as her final form.

I was hoping this would be more popular. Anyway...

Desmond Miles (Assassin’s Creed)

Desmond uses the Ghost Driver. Each of his Eyecons are based on playable Assassin characters throughout the series. Despite their extensive training with multiple weapons, each Assassin’s Eyecon grants Desmond the use of a single weapon. His own personal Eyecon, being his base form, gives him a Shock Blade, and all other Eyecons give him the unique hidden blade of the Assassin it’s based on, such as Arno Dorian’s Phantom Blade, or Shao Jun’s Hidden Footblade.

His Rider Machine is a Machine Hoodie, which has an extra feature when used with a specific Eyecon.

Eyecons
  • Altair - single sword combat
  • Ezio - crossbow, This form turns Desmond’s Machine Hoodie into an upgraded version of Da Vinci’s Glider.
  • Connor - archery
  • Aveline - whip
  • Edward - pistol swords
  • Adewale - shotgun
  • Shay - air rifle
  • Arno - Guillotine Gun
  • Jacob - metal gauntlets
  • Evie - cane sword
  • Shao Jun - rope dart
  • Arbaaz Mir - chakrams
  • Nikolai Orelov - sniper rifle
  • Bayek - sword and shield
  • Aya - some kind of robot snake weapon
  • Kassandra - Spear of Leonidas
  • Naoe - kusarigama
  • Yasuke - kanabo
Upgrade form - Eivor - Mjolnir
Super form - Alexios (Staff of Hermes Trigestus)
Final form - Adam (Excalibur)

Is it a bad thing if I end up the only one who ever posts in this thread?

Sora (Kingdom Hearts)

Sora’s Driver would basically  just be the Disney Imagination Driver, with his collectible being keys based on his keyblades.

He’d use Oathkeeper and Oblivion as two separate upgrade forms, Double Form as his super form, and the Ultima Weapon for his final form. Rage Form might be a secondary super form, an ideal berserker form.
His Rider Machine would be some kind of keyblade glider. This pic I found on reddit might make a good glider for the Kingdom Key.

Jak (Jak and Daxter)
An Ultraman this time. (I’m technically counting his Dark Giant power as a giant form)

He transforms using an amulet based on the Heart of Mar gem, with his forms being  concentrated Eco crystals. His Morph Gun’s features have turned into eco powers for his various forms.

Yellow Eco - his base form, focusing on firepower and ranged attacks. Using the Blaster and Beam Reflexor as basic ranged attacks, and the Gyro Burster as a special attack. However, this form still has the standard Ultra Beam as a finisher.
Red Eco - his strength form, focusing on brute force and explosive attacks. It uses the Scatter Gun and Wave Concusser for crowd control, and the Plasmite RPG as a finisher.
Blue Eco - his speed form, focusing on agility and deflecting ranged attacks. The Vulcan Fury and Needle Lazer are used as rapid-fire ranged attacks, with the Arc Wielder being used as a finisher.
Green Eco - his defense-centered form, able to heal allies, create crystal constructs, and includes Cosmos-esque healing and purification abilities. Since there’s no green morph gun mods, it uses the Lobber as a special attack.
Dark Eco - his berserker-type penultimate form. His Dark Strike power and Peace Maker weapon have been combined, and the Mass Inverter is now a special attack. His Supernova weapon, Dark Bomb, and Dark Blast are all last-resorts.
Light Eco - his final form, combining the abilities of his Yellow, Blue, Red, and Green forms.

The Vestige (Elder Scrolls Online)

The Vestige would get Armor Hero Captor’s gear. Captor’s armor seals would activate forms based on the different ESO classes, while his weapon seals would give him the weapon skill lines.

There’s a bit of room for parallel between the classes and forms.

Alloy - Templar, Restoration Staff
Reflect - Sorcerer, dual wield
Angstrom - Necromancer, one-handed and shield
Carbon - Warden, Bow (this one could replace the red lion motif with a green bear to be more fitting, and changing the combined weapon so that the sword splits in half to become a bow)
Ultra Max - Arcanist (Destruction Staff)
Captor King - Dragon Knight, two-handed

Nightblade could either be the base armor itself, or a new crow-based form, its weapon being a pair of daggers that combine at the top of Captor’s sword to form a pickaxe.

Portal Master (Skylanders)
Kind of based on two different Rider systems here.

First, the forms themselves. Instead of making Imaginators, the Portal Master would use Gaia Memories to give himself abilities based on them. Pillip’s side would handle the Skylander elements, while Shotarou’s side would use weapons based on the Battle Classes.

His Rider Machine would be some kind of motorcycle with a Superchargers-esque Rift Engine.

The rest of the Skylanders would be summoned from their own collectibles. The Swap Force would need some kind of item that can be split in half, but the rest can be through cards.

His upgrade form would probably be some kind of mecha form based on the Iron Fist of Arkus.
His super form could involve a Traptanium weapon.
His final form would probably be something based on Kaos’ powers.

Kratos (God of War)
Having used Pandora’s Box to fight Ares in a giant form in his first game, Kratos clearly qualifies as a potential Ultraman.

Best I can tell, he’d probably use Blazar Stones to equip the various weapons from througout the GoW series. He might even use forms based on the different elemental magic types from Ascension.

Zeus - balanced base form.
Ares - strength form.
Poseidon - speed form
Hades - whatever kind of form Thunder Breaster was supposed to be.
Blade of Olympus - final form weapon.
