Personality & Background: Born to upper middle class parents in the Coachella Valley region of California, his father is a contractor and his mother is a school teacher. Professional wrestling was a staple of the household, as it was the only real way besides being knowledgeable with work involving construction that a child in the Wallace household could bond and connect with the patriarch of the household. Young Daniel fell in love with it immediately. Daniel would even become a wrestler by joining his school team, even after getting over the initial shock in the differences between the professional stuff and the Greco-Roman counterpart.

At 16, Daniel would drop out of school, much to his parents’ disapproval. Using what savings he had accrued from odd summer jobs, he bought a one way ticket to Mexico City. For six long months, he lived on the streets, scraping by on novice level Spanish to survive. One rainy night outside a local arena, a man invited Daniel into his home. This man turned out to be Alejandro Santiago Lopez, known to the world of Lucha Libre as El Dragón Verdé(The Green Dragon). After hearing Daniel’s story, Lopez would train him himself. After eight long years of plying his trade, Wallace got the call to go to Japan.

In Japan, Daniel had to start completely over, a stranger in a strange land where the language was one he did not know very well. But, over the next four years, he would fight in various promotions, including one where he would participate in “deathmatches”, extremely violent affairs that taxed and scarred his body, to the point that he would be forced to go home in shame.

After a year off, Daniel reconnected with an old friend who had gotten into Hollywood as a special effects artist. With help, Wallace created a new persona, one where his face would always be obscured in public. A cybernetic man enhanced by a shadowy corporation. Contacting some old connections, Wallace would go to work touring Europe for the next six years, learning yet another style of wrestling. Until one day, he got a call. Rising Fury Wrestling had been watching him closely for a long time. The dream was coming true. After all the heartache and gold amassed in almost twenty years of work, it was time to make a legacy in his home country.

The moves and stuff like that can be easily explained. Wrestling is an artform, and I imagine most of what’s gonna happen here is going to be more of the behind the scenes stuff anyway. I’d be glad to help you out in any way possible.

Just want to back what the others have said. This game isn't really about wrestling. There's no game system being used, and in ring stuff being included is completely up to the writers involved. I won't be making matches and do not expect anyone to have to write any matches either. This is focused on being a sandbox world in a city called Rivertown where two wrestling promotions have become a big part of the cities make up. But a lot of posts will be in the city of Rivertown and the posts in both promotions home arenas will be backstage or training or meetings and mainly the interactions between our characters.

The only time you'd ever have to know an actual wrestling move would be making the profile. And I'm sure plenty of us here could help you with that anyway.

The larger than life aspect of professional wrestling is typically limited to the ring. Plus, some of the smallest wrestlers have been known to cast the biggest shadows(like Rey Mysterio). The big thing will definitely be the behind the scenes work.

Hey Kara,

The whole game is free form/sandbox. The town and the promotions are a back drop to the relationships and stories that writers plan to write for themselves. If more than one person wants to be a champion then I suppose it would come down to me or I could introduce a system, but it isn't really the focus of the game.

As for enough workers, again, as the main focus is the sandbox roleplaying element of being a wrestler in this town and the relationships one has with others, we don't need to fill out both promotions. Yes, it would mean anyone in a promotion with not many people to interactive with would have to come up a story of how they would interactive with people in the other.

As for kayfabe, it's not kayfabe all the time, but the rivarly between promotions is real. Again the focus isn't always around the wrestling, but the struggle of being a wrestler, relationships with others and living in a town that is a bit wrestling mad.

You wouldn’t even necessarily need knowledge of pro wrestling moves as you can make her moveset based off of her MMA style. I’d recommend researching into stuff like Judo, Muay Thai, and BJJ as far as moves are concerned.
