**Overhauled and Edited July 2023**

Hello there, thanks for looking at my listing.

First and foremost, I'm looking to RP opposite the canon character Severus Snape (though not necessarily Potterverse). I do, and have, RPed with many other characters, in many other scenarios and genres, but this is what I'm craving at the moment, and nothing else is really capturing me. Unless you are interested in taking on that role then there's not much point in reading beyond here. Have a great day.

However, if you are interested, you wonderful human being you, read on...

About Me
I'm a fairly literate RPer, female, in the UK (so on GMT or GMT+1 depending on the time of year). I'm in my early 40s, and have been RPing and writing on and off for about 25 years or so.

I write younger, heterosexual, female characters, who generally have submissive tendencies (not always), but are not pushovers. Submissive doesn't mean doormat, and I enjoy pushing against dominants for the fun of it, as well it allows for potential punishments. I like to write opposite older, intelligent, dominant male characters who can temper their dominance with affection, and who have a personality other than "I am very dominant".

My style is mixed; longer paragraphs when being descriptive, and shorter posts when dialogue is being shot back and forth. I don't see the point in dragging out a post to fit some arbitrary word count if two characters are simply conversing. Still, I love description to establish place and mood, and enjoy descriptive sex scenes- knowing how a character is feeling and what they are thinking.

I write in the third person and prefer my partners to do the same. I have no preferences about the gender and orientation of any potential writing partner, but I do require that Snape to be written as cisgender heterosexual male. I can and do write several secondary characters within a roleplay, but I am not interested in creating harems.

I like a good mixture of story and sex, and have a preference for long term, drawn out stories with much sexual tension, rather than a quickie. Angst, anticipation and tension are catnip to me.

I have a preference for writing on forums, it allows other potential partners to see if they like my writing style, but I will do a PM thread. I don't use Discord, I find it confusing.

The Sex Stuff
I have a list of Kinks and Limits, feel free to check them out.

The Snape Stuff
Characterisation
This just has to be mentioned as I've RPed with partners in the past who have been willing to play Snape, but then don't actually play him. What I mean by that is the characterisation is just... weird. For me, it's so important that he doesn't start wearing Bermuda shorts or sound like he's channelling Keanu Reeves in Bill and Ted. It breaks the immersion and spoils the mood. Also, I'm less interested in the Very Domly Dominant Dom kinds of portrayals, especially when being dominant seems to be conflated with being a bit of a dickhead. Some measure of vulnerability is an attractive trait, he is after all mourning someone he loved, which makes winning him over very appealing. Bullish dick-swinging gets tired very quickly.

Movie Snape > Book Snape
Rickman (my fantasy husbando) was just gorgeous in the role. The right look, voice and mannerisms. Tight control on the character's emotions (he doesn't have to shout or swear), intense, handsome, sardonic, dark; just the perfect amalgamation of manhood. Book Snape is written to be physically unappealing, and rather more cruel. While I don't mind a touch of the sadistic, I prefer the film version.

No Potterverse?
So as much as I like Rowling's setting, it's the character I'm hung up on, not the school scenes. I'm equally happy to take Snape out of Hogwarts and pop him down in various other genres. Snape as a member of the Red Wizards of Thay? Sure, why not? Non-magical Snape as a spy for the Allied forces in the 1940s? Sounds intriguing. Renaissance Vampire Snape? Ohmygodyes!

That Question
Bringing this up because I get asked this nine times out of ten "Sure, I can write Snape, but will you write Hermione?"

Er, only with great reluctance.

Look, I'm ok with some of the canon characters, and I rather like Tonks, but I just don't gel with Hermione as a character all that well. She irritates me. Also, there's something about Emma Watson's appearance and acting I really don't like. I know I can write book Hermione rather than movie Hermione, but it's difficult to get her "I've just been hit with a brick" expression out of my mind. No offense if you find Emma Watson attractive, she's just very much not my type.

I realise however she's a popular character. I've written her (poorly) in the past and can take a crack at it again if it's a particular wish-fulfilment.

The Finale

Ok, that's what I'm looking for, here's what I'm offering.

A reasonably literate, descriptive writer, who can post most days, and is communicative if unable to.
A good story, with a nice amount of the sexy stuff.
A variety of characters to write opposite, some canon and some original.
A bit of a laugh, which really is all this should be anyway.

If you've made it this far, thanks! Reward yourself with a cookie for your endurance.

Plots below, but if you have some ideas around developing an idea I'd be interested in hearing from you.

Plots and Other Bits
This is a work in progress. Stuff will be added as a monthly bump.

Potterverse Plots

The Girl Who Lived
Female Harry x Snape
Content Warning: Possible BDSM
Premise: Rowan Rose Potter is the Girl Who Lived. She looks just like her mother, but has her father's eyes, and has attended Hogwarts for the past six years. Frequently getting into trouble, and rubbing some of the school's staff up the wrong way, she has been an unheeded herald for the return of Voldemort, and now after the loss of her Godfather, Sirius Black, she feels like a lost soul. Railing against everyone, even her friends, she finds a strange kind of comfort in the arms of a certain Potions Master.
Note: This character has been aged up to make her 17 at the time of HBP rather than Harry's 16.

Snape's Daughter
OC x Snape
Content Warning: Incest
Premise: While a Death Eater, Snape had a brief sexual relationship with Avery's younger sister which resulted in a child. The mother never told anyone who the father was. Years later the girl is attending Hogwarts and in her sixth year begins to feel a strange attraction to the dark Potions Master, one that can help feeling in return. They give into their urges, sleep with one another... and then find out. Much angst from the fallout. They can't seem to stop seeing each other, despite knowing the truth.
