Potential RPs Interest Check

These are some RPs I have wanted to run for a while, just wanted to get a feel for which people might be interested in playing.

Also, I will preface this upfront, I am looking for just good old fashioned role playing. I don’t really do the sexy times myself, so if that’s what you are looking for it’s not the focus of these stories.

Eternity’s Horizon

Aigéan is a vast world of high seas and swirling oceans, dotted by islands and archipelagos. A world of legends and myths, but none so enthralling or as daring as those of the dread pirate Black Heart. A pirate so blood thirsty and wicked the mere mention of his name could spark fear in a village. He plundered the oceans for years, amassing the biggest treasure trove anyone could have ever imagined. In his reign of terror he ruled the oceans and had nations quaking in fear for when he would set his sights on their lands. But one fateful day the dread pirate simply vanished. Rumor has it that he was so wicked that the devil himself had dragged black heart and his treasure down to Hell himself.

It has been nearly a hundred years since the disappearance of Black Heart. In his wake hundreds of pirate crews rushed to fill the void, seeking glory or even the Hoard of Black Heart, but none have ever found it.

Today, however, that may finally change. One of the greatest pirate captains of the age has begun  recruiting for a grand voyage. Rumor has it that Captain Argus McFinnegan has stumbled upon the secret of where Black Heart’s treasure may be. Are you brave or fool hearty enough to join his crew and set out to stake your claims on the Hoard?

Smuggler’s Glory

It is a time of unease in the galaxy. The newly minted Galactic Empire has seized control of nearly every corner and aspect of the galaxy. In the name or law and order people’s rights and freedoms are being suppressed. The Emperor holds the inner and middle rim in an iron fist. But not all hope is lost for the galaxy. For among the fringes of galactic society, on the grungy and forgotten worlds of the outer rim freedom is still a possibility for those willing to grasp for it. It is out here, in the wilds of the outer rim, that trouble is brewing. But in these tumultuous times fortune favors the bold. Glory awaits those willing to seize it...

You have found work with an interesting Zabrak pilot named Kalor Dunn and his small crew aboard his YT 2400 light freighter the Scarlet Mistress. It’s a simple mission with a massive payout, get into a run of the mill transport ship, steal a specially marked package, and get out. The pay is well worth the risk and the captain assured you this will be the easiest fortune you’ve ever made, if you’re brave enough to join.

The Return of Heroes

It is a world of super heroes! Or at least, it used to be. Super humans have been around for quite some time, no one knows for sure how long. Perhaps supers are who became the mythical heroes of old. But for all of modern history they have been a staple in the world. Heroes and villains duking it out for the fate of a city, a country, or even the world. Until suddenly, they were gone.

The even is referred to as “The Vanishing”. 16 years ago an event occurred that no one has been able to explain. All at once anyone who had powers, anyone who was a super, vanished in a burst of bright green light. Society had to continue on with supers no longer around, and it has done a pretty good job of returning to a sense of normalcy. People always wonder if the supers will ever return. Some say they might, others are convinced they won’t if they haven’t come back by now. But you know the answer. You know, because you are a super. Will you keep this secret to yourself? Or will you be the one who reveals that not all supers disappeared in The Vanishing?

A Rumbling in the Depths

Ibulith is a continent of great powers. The entire southern portion of the continent is ruled by the Theocratic Kingdom of Talamhdanu. The north west is held by the mighty and most technologically advanced Olympian Empire. And to the East, the lush and mysterious Ragnar Republic. These three nations have claimed all the land in Ibulith and are at a stalemate. But the surface is not the only land for the taking.

Hidden under the Cloch Peak Mountains that bisect the continent lies the small city state of Formoria. A fledgling republic made of those who are shunned by those above, an outcast city carved from the very heart of the mountains themselves. Drow, Duergar, and Dwarfs from Talamhdanu, Olympia, and Ragnar respectively fled underground and recently banned together to form an alliance.

But all is not well in the mountains. Rumblings of unrest reach even this secluded place. Those on the surface have caught wind of the city and wish to make it a part of their nation. And worse, the dragons who claim the peaks of the Cloch Peak Mountains are stirring. News of a powerful when trying to hand the usually solitary creatures together under himself to conquer all of Ibulith have reached the Alloy Council. Something is about to go down, but what exactly no one knows for sure. The Alloy Council is putting together a team to send above ground to try and find a solution that keeps Formoria independent and free. Will they succeed? Only time will tell.

Pokémon Light & Shadow

Welcome to the Arcaia region, a land shrouded in mystery. Though this region hosts no native pokémon of it's own, it is home to pokémon from all other known regions. Due to this strange phenomenon it has attracted a large amount of attention from researchers and trainers alike. Boasting a booming economy and countless new towns Arcaia is the new frontier of the pokémon world. Trainers, breeders, contest performers, researchers, rangers, and more from ever region around the world have been amassing  But strange rumors have been cropping up about some extremely aggressive pokémon. They have been said to attack unprovoked and to be terrorizing humans and pokémon alike. What is the cause of these strange rumors, and what does it mean for the region? Only time will tell.

Forging My Destiny

Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria, there was a terrible war. A war between pony kind, and the agents of chaos. And the ponies were losing. As their subjects were cut down in waves by the forces of chaos the princesses desperately searched for a means of stopping the war and putting an end to the chaos. In these desperate times a desperate plan was put into motion. With the aid of the royal wizard Starswirl the Bearded, and the royal blacksmith Adamantium, a terrible machine was constructed. One that if used would change Equestria forever. Just as the device was completed however, the princesses had discovered something just as powerful, the elements of harmony. With the aid of these magical gems the princesses were able to stop the chaos and seal away the monster known as Discord. With disaster averted the princesses then had a new dilemma. What to do with the machine. At first they thought to destroy it, but what if another evil more powerful than Discord fell upon Equestria again? The device was sealed away, so deep that in time even the princesses forgot of its existence. But it would soon be discovered again...
