Gloom Cookie’s Roleplay Requests
Revamped for March 2023

Good evening, I’m Gloom Cookie, the sweetest goth psycho you’ve ever met. I’m here trying to find some roleplaying partners, but all of my older prompts just… feel so bland. To start, I like original characters, and I have a standing policy to never play pre-existing characters. This policy is due to people having preconceived notions of characters that I don’t want to even try and emulate due to people getting upset. Instead, I’d rather build a world with my partners and create original characters who have their own depth and complexity we can explore at our own pace. That said, I am not opposed to working with established worlds, so long as there is room to grow and expand established lore. If you want to explore a world with me, I am familiar with the worlds listed below.

Familiar Worlds

Shadowrun - I adore the Sixth World of Shadowrun and love to play within it. Most of the setting takes place in Seattle but I’m not opposed to other locations, I just need time to explore and read up on them. That said, I love playing either faces or street sams, as those are what I have the most familiarity with.
Cyberpunk - I fell in love with Cyberpunk 2077 and the corporate dystopia found there. I’m curious to explore more of this, but I think just the general setting would be a wonderful place to explore with someone more experienced with it than I am.
Warhammer 40k - I’m familiar enough with the setting to know I like it, but I am also familiar enough to know I’ve probably only scratched the surface. I much prefer the stories of normal humans over the demi-gods of the Space Marines, and have a particular fascination with the Hospitalers of the Adeptus Sororitas.

So now that I’ve established I like original characters, what kind of stories do I look for? Generally, I want adventures, often having a character step out of their comfort zone to discover a secret world beyond the normal mundane world they’re familiar with. I also like exploring relationships with various characters, mostly trans-women who have through various means (gender transformation, surgical correction, etc.) achieved full womanhood but started life male. I understand not everyone is interested in these stories, and that’s fine. Just please be respectful of me and my interests. I also like playing feminine characters who haven’t fully transitioned if you’re into that.

Prompt 1: Being a corporate wage-slave sucks. It especially sucks when the corporation decides to close your division and you’re left without work. No money, no job, no apartment since you have to be employed by the company to afford a place to stay. Down on my luck, I do whatever it takes to survive on the streets.

Prompt 2: War is worse than Hell. In Hell, you only find the bad people and sinners, not the innocents displaced by war and subjected to brutal hardships. Displaced by a conflict in my home country, I’m making my way as a refugee, trying to discover a place where I can be safe while doing what I can for the people defending my homeland.

Prompt 3: Working for the police, you see a lot of bad things happen on a daily basis. I do what I can, trying to be calm and collected, and it requires constant vigilance. Driving the streets, walking my route, just interacting with the public… until that one shift where everything goes to hell.
