Welcome, one and all. I hope you stay a while and listen(read)

The Concept!
I'll keep this short and sweet. I can go into more details if there is interest. I'm looking for 3-5 players to take the role of female adventurers (human preferred, but not demanded. No furries/scalies/anthros, though) to take part in a lewd adventure in a low magic, high fantasy world!

I'll be aiming for around a 50/50 split between the smut and the non-smut. I'm looking to cross the spectrum of consent, allow for choice in dom/sub scenarios based on what YOU are aiming for and to allow for the players to drive the story. There will be monsters, men and various beasts, all of which will wish to take advantage of the PCs. I've got plenty of ideas for lewd traps, curses and items too, which can come into play.

The System!
What system? I'm kidding. I like dice as much as the next nerd. But I'm not sure a laundry list of rules, dozens of numbers and a constricted, nailed down combat system is really suitable for this game. So i'm going to be using a scaled back, softened up and modifed version of the Ironsworn system (worth a google, best system in the business for GMless play, though I will be GMing this). If you're after crunchy, Pathfinder 1e style gameplay, turn away now. But if you find the rules and mechanics of many systems to be the worst part of playing them or just don't want to have to learn a hole new system for one roleplay, this might be for you.

The dice rolls will all be handled on my side of the screen, as well tracking resources, health and spirit. You won't need to worry about anything but what your character wants, tries to do to get it and what they look like doing it.

Style!
At the moment, I think GM'ing for multiple players only really makes sense in 3rd person. But I think players have some flexibility, if you prefer 1st (Which I think is the best idea for this format) or 3rd, that's your perogative. I need you to be willing to match my effort, I write 2-5 paragraphs in a post (sometimes shorter or longer depending). Yours won't need to be that length, neccessarily. But if you want to just put out single lines, please do not apply. People who are online and post atleast once a day or two are desired, I don't think a group game will hold up well if there's one among us who takes a week to post (no judgement, that's life. It's a compatibility issue.)

What else?
I'm up for talking through any of this. Drop a reply here and i'll endeavour to come back to you swiftly.

A Word on Mechanics
There are basically three mechanics (shamelessly stolen from Ironsworn)

1. Moves and stats: This won't be to relevant to the players side. It's basically just away for me to decide what to roll and when. You have 5 stats, but no skill lists or anything like that. Keeps it simple, but still gives you a way to feel unique.

2. Assets: These are things you'll be using to really declare "What makes me special". Assets can be Attributes (Keen senses, innocent face, rune casting, etc.), Items (a magic sword, a set of finely made lockpicks, your father's old banner) or Creatures (A pet, a familiar or even a companion). The idea being that should the asset be relevant to your task, it'll modify the rolls on my side but also bring a nice piece of flavour. You'll be able to earn more and upgrade/change existing Assets as you earn XP (XP is more a currency here than a progress bar). Assets are free form, you decide what they are, there will be guidance for this from me if you need it. (all assets are subject to approval)

3. The Tracks: Kind of splits into another 3.

Spirit (Stress/Mental Strain), Health (How injured or hurt you are) and Supply (A nice abstraction that saves on overly specific inventory/money tracking.)

Progress Tracks: A simple system for tracking things like journeys, battles, exploration, etc. First we decide the difficulties, successdul actions on your part will fill that progress track. It means we can keep it narrative focused without counting miles per day or monster HP. It's remarkably elegant.

Oaths: This is a big one, this is how you the player direct the narrative. When you swear a solemn oath on a piece of Black Iron (AkA: Star Metal), we create a progress track. The grander and more difficult the oath, the longer it will take to fulfill and thus the more dangerous it will be, but this is where you XP will come from. It's also nice, because it's a constant reminder to both me and you as to what you are trying to accomplish.

It's all about simplicity and fiction-first roleplay. The dice, the numbers and the trackers will only supplement and enrich the narrative. (I realise there's no mention of lewdity in this explanation, but you might see how the mechanics might effect or be effected by the that kind of encounter.)

Hope this doesn't bore you to tears, let me know if anything isn't clear.

Count me interested!

Glad to hear it.

Have you got any questions?

Do you have any particular character concepts you were thinking about?

Hi LewdiKris,

Most of my tabletop RP is from DnD and Pathfinder, but I always preferred low fantasy stories. Sprinkle some lewdness, and you caught my interest!

I don't have experience with Ironsworn, but I'm always fond of exploring new RP systems if needed. I usually do freeform on Elliquiy, but a simple rules system sounds just as good. I can do post a day most days, but sometimes things get in the way. Without knowing about the setting, or the starting scenario, I'll throw out a simple character pitch. If or when there's a need for more details, I'm happy to provide:

Character pitch:
Using her love of nature and wilderness, Lyra earns her coin as a guide, explorer, and mapmaker. She even fancies herself a treasure hunter. A few weeks back she had hit big. A collection of precious jewelry in a hidden room of a ruined castle, gathering dust for at least a century. But she made the mistake of bragging about it to the wrong people. Two days later, she was robbed on the road to the next city. Now she is on the lookout for another big find. Or for clues about the robbers.

Also:
A bit of info about the starting situation might help with fleshing out a character concept.

edit

Removed the pitch sentence: "It sold for a nice fat purse of coins."

*Chef's Kiss* Pitch perfect for what I'm imagining. Ironsworn worth a google, tbh. It's pdf is free and it makes for a reasonably breezy read. As mentioned it's a modified version i'm using for this, so no homework required.

How are you with the kink side? Any clarifications needed or concerns?

Lynnette

I'll note down some interest. I'm not entirely sure what I'd want to make yet, as I'm seeking a few clarifications in terms of your goals with this story.

Are you looking for a generally lighthearted take, where the characters bounce back from hardships and go "just another day on the job", or is it more about overcoming hardships? Might be I just suck at reading the room, but the moment I see low fantasy, the rest gets narrated by the narrator in Darkest Dungeon. But again, might just be reading the room completely wrong.

Did you have something in mind already in terms of what brought the party together? A bunch of rookie wannabe adventurers wanting to capture a world that doesn't want to be theirs? Experienced in the art of travel, unfazed by their many adversaries, many who don't care much for blood? Just a desperate bunch trying to secure their next meal, figuring that their shared manpower might lead to a slightly bigger piece of bread split as evenly as possible with one's bare hands?

Googled it :) And took a super quick look through the Ironsword rulebook and the playkit (mostly glanced through the chapter titles). Should we go through the character creation section and provide a character sheet? Which is fine by me :) Or are we winging it loosely, with the GM taking care of the all mechanics?

Not atm, I'm good with either taking things lightly or going more extreme.

Nah, I've got a template and I'll take you through it step by step, It'll be easy as pie. (...Except I can't make pie.)

Not to worry, i know exactly what you mean. This won't be a harrowing tale of devolving mental states, constant death and general nihilism. It's Low magic, high fantasy. Lots of goblins, ghoulies and other monsters. Lot's of ancient ruins that need delving. Lot's of swords, shields and bows. But magic is a mysterious, rare and unpredictable thing. I want to set the tone somewhere between a nonsense rule34 comic and the lord of the rings. No doubt, there will be some injection of monty python (it seems inevitable), some romance and, hopefully, some moments of meaningful emotional karthasis. But you guys will help shape that tone too.

I'd like to touch different genres. Mostly a sort of action adventure interspersed with hardcore porn. But we'll slip into horror, mystery, heist and more if the game continues long enough.

I hope that allays your worries, but if anything still feels unclear or concerning, let me know.

Consider yourself counted.

Well, if we've got the players, I think i'm ready to kick ass and play role playing games. And i'm all out of ass.

Now, to just figure out how to do that... I intend to make an OOC thread and a Game thread. I'll make sure you're notified when I'm done. Don't make me ban fridge talk *Eyes the in-joke suspiciously*

LewdiKris

Okay team, I think we have enough players to start. If you posted that your interested, i'm assuming that's still the case. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Here's the thread for OOC. https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=349585.0

Lynette, I think I've understood your initial thoughts and addressed them. If there is anything else, please chuck me a message (that goes for all of you too.)

Don't worry about character specifics, just yet. We'll do that together over in the OOC. Thread is now locked. (Be real funny if this was irreversable.)

LewdiKris

I've reopened the thread, turns out we need another player or two. Looking forward to hearing from you. X

I'd be interested in giving this a try as well!

Character Vibe: A low-magic witch (more potions, poisons, and psychedelic mushrooms then spells)/manipulator.  Acts bit cold and superior, when the situation doesn't call for diplomacy at least, but ultimately searching for a master she deems strong enough to serve the interests of.

If a more hands-on and/or combat oriented character is preferable I'm happy to tweak the concept!
