Hi there!

Thanks for clicking my request thread link! As you can no doubt tell, I’m Blackjack, I’m 34 and I’ve been roleplaying for nearly ten years and I’ve only been on message boards for a couple of years but I think my talent shows in my writing. Before you go any further, I do have a couple of ground rules: First and foremost, please only message me if you’re interested in finishing the RP. I’ve recently had a partner drop me for the 15th time and frankly, I’m rather sick of it. Secondly, if you aren’t interested in playing, please let me know. I’m a big boy and can take it. Thirdly and finally, I'm not so bothered about grammar but spelling can be one of those things that can really break an RP. If you're not a native speaker then I can let it slide, however, if you are a native speaker and mix up 'There, their or they're' regularly then I'm afraid I'll have to let the RP drop. As a slight addendum, I'm also looking for something in-depth and with a big word count. If you don't think you can manage at least three paragraphs of five lines or more, then don't bother applying, I'm not going to be interested. I consider myself flexible as to what I'd like to play but I will enclose some example pairings I'd like to try or some scenes below.

First Class: I was thinking mostly OCs here, two new students at the school meet, and a blossoming romance ensues. We could join the team right away having beaten the academy or we could start inside of the school and play through the classes while wishing we could be fighting Apocalypse or whatever. Alternatively, we just copy the Fox’s First Class movie with the team of X-Men being the literal first class.

War For Wakanda:-

Wakanda had closed off its borders for nearly decades now, the most technologically advanced country had left the world to its own devices and it was almost forgotten by the UN and the rest of the world. SHIELD never forgets and it has eyes and ears everywhere so when the Wakandan government began discussing and debating the source of all the missing Vibranium, Director Fury and Commander Hill moved in to start to heal relations between the rest of the world and the elusive African nation. The world had no idea that the King who had decided upon the nation becoming isolationist had passed away and his son, T’Challa, was now sitting on the throne. The new King was willing to listen to outsider views, as such, he allowed the Avengers, and SHIELD, to take up residence in one of his many palaces close to the border.

Iron Cat:-

Stark Technologies is the most secure spots in the entire world so when Felicia ‘Black Cat’ Hardy had been given the job, the cat burglar practically jumped at the chance to claim an impossible prize. Naturally, she manages to do it and when she sneaks away with the prize, she has all the attention of the Iron Man himself. With the two of them clashing and shooting acidic barbs at each other, they start to slowly piece together something, or someone, has set Felicia up for some reason.

Pokémon:-

So, I've currently been on something of a Pokémon fandom craving right now, however to slightly let some people down I'm only really familiar with the Red, Blue, Gold and Silver generations so anything from those games onwards would be sorta sketchy for me. However, I'm certainly not above googling so I'm sure that there'll be something we can find tickles both of our fancies. For your information, my role will be the one always on the left. I'll supply a list of characters I would be willing to play and with some plots there'll be some storylines I have in mind as well.

As required by the site, absolutely every single characters listed are to be 18+ years old.

No? Oh. Okay...

So, I have no idea where this idea came from so everyone hold tight as I try to explain where I'm coming from. I was a 90's kid and my mother undoubtedly parked me in front of the TV early on a Saturday morning to shut me up for 20 minutes no doubt and this was the main pacifier. My Christmas lists were covered with Power Rangers toys and action figures and I definitely had some of the larger MegaZords and was definitely hot shit on the playground with them. So, after being prodded to watch something totally unrelated, I started thinking about the Power Rangers and the toys. Checking out Amazon quickly stopped me from picking up any of the toys but it still lit a fire in me.

I do have a couple of ideas but generally, I am much more interested in discussing how we could get this play going and whether it would work or not.

The Power Rangers are dead. Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd conquered Earth and are well on their way to placing the entire Milky Way under their thumb of control. While Earth is controlled by Finster who is steadily pumping out legions of Putty Patrollers who keep the population necessarily terrified while they will also abduct a select few of the population to serve as the new foundations, and templates, for the new classes of Putty Patrollers. As humanity struggles to survive in underground bunkers, running from foxhole to foxhole, a long voice calls out across the wastelands. A call for teenagers with attitude! Of course, they would be 18+ for the purposes of the game.

Having played the awesome Chroma Squad on the PC too, I certainly wouldn’t mind some tongue-in-cheek action too. Maybe even we play the actors of the Power Rangers instead?

Ideally, it would involve you playing Qi'Ra but I'm sure we could rearrange the general idea. Bumping! So, with the news of Bioware's team being "shifted around" and having a lot of the DA writing team being fired and stuff, the writing seems to be on the wall for Bioware and their games.
