A magically and slightly mysterious supernatural slice of life game set in modern day Savannah, Georgia.

The story? Whatever your heart desires as your character finds themselves in an alluring little southern city with charm and bite - depending on where you go. An escape from the big, bustling cities. Filled with mystic wonder and delights for the weary heart and mind.

What journey has your character been on? What has called them to the southernmost parts of the United States? To a place by the sea that has not yet swallowed up nature and destroyed it?

Savannah, Georgia is a sandbox game for those who enjoy a bit of feyness in their writing. Fey being unworldly creatures that baffle the human mind.

If we were to state that Savannah was inspired by anything, it would be Lost Girl, Once Upon A Time, Grimm, Charmed and other 'fantasy' slice of life shows and movies you adore.

This game is meant to unleash your creativities without hindering them with rigid structure and boundaries.

So while you may draw inspiration from just about anywhere for this game and your character, we expect a modicum of respect for other players and their characters.

So please use reason and sensibility with what you create so as not to overwhelm your fellow writer or yourselves.

Savannah is a story set in modern day Savannah, Georgia.

A sprawling little southern city that has somehow lost itself to time and holds onto charm and regality. Many places still holding cobblestone, brick and wood instead of steel and towering buildings like you'd find over in Atlanta.

Savannah is meant to tickle that magical and otherworldly desire of your brain. Make you remember a time where you were wishing you'd get a letter accepting you into Hogwarts or perhaps maybe even you'd be taken on an epic journey to Mordor.

Had you imagining you were a Charmed one or a vampire and werewolf just trying to get by in life with a job, a relationship and a nice home to live in.

Come to Savannah and let your imagination run wild!





Do you have a vampire who lost the love of his wife in the midst of the Civil War?

Had he gone to fight for his beliefs and alongside his brethren, only to be turned by a blood drinking monster on the battlefield and thought he was left to die only to wake up allergic to the sun and trapped to the night? Did he stumble all the way back home only to find his wife and children killed by the enemies? Has he been in mourning since then? A lonely, handsome bachelor with enough wealth to surely have whatever he desires and yet is not happy?

Or maybe you have a young, spry shewolf whose left her mother and fathers pack.

Striking out on her own in search of adventure. With no plans on finding a mate and having pups anytime soon. She just wants to be young, wild, beautiful and free! Finally having escaped pack law and rigidity to find her own identity and worth. Maybe she was obsessed with Coyote Ugly a little too much growing up, thinks she can be some hot bartender or singer. The south is all about performance right?

Perhaps you're a small band of sibling witches...

Whose parents died mysteriously in some shady big city which you - the eldest of the Coven and now its leader - decided to take your siblings from in order to save what little innocence they have left as well as their and your own sanity. Your youngest brother, an absolute typical teenager, just hates you for it. Doesn't wanna go to no hodunk town, leave all his friends behind - his boyfriend! He's terrified of moving to the south, because of all the stories about bigoted people and their closed minded ideas. Your sister, the middle child is absolute ecstatic. She thinks the place is just absolutely charming and beautiful which infuriates your little brother. How ever are you going to maintain the peace between them?!

Whatever kind of story you have to tell, a character you wish to write. Savannah is waiting for them to unfold and breathe life into the streets.

Is that together we can build not just a story but a series of them in this town, together as writers.

Whether it's to make old family rivalries, perhaps a small town murder mystery at some point or just to make memorable characters with admiring stories that we'd just be aching to share with our friends.

Whatever comes of Savannah, is up to the writers and we are so excited to see what will come!





Below is information you may want to know when considering in joining this game. We have tried to keep this as basic as possible for you.

The things below are just to help you in making your character and musing over what you'd like to do in this game! If you have any questions, please just say so in this thread or you can message a GM privately if you'd prefer!

Savannah is a unique city in Georgia that actually has other towns mingled in within it and is by the coast while also being surrounded by wildlife preserves. It's quite the magical little spot. Always keep an eye on this when in play, for your characters safety and well being! Some species are rather territorial... If you need to make it bigger, just click on it or open it in a new tab!

Small southern places like this are known for epic gatherings and sprawling events so there will always certainly be something going on here in Savannah! Could be a gala, a potluck, a flea market or festival. This is more to tell you what season and year the game is currently playing in. Any events going on that a player makes will be listed for you to see. If you need to make it bigger, just click on it or open it in a new tab!

In Savannah, outside of humans there are four species that your characters could be.

Currently we are allowing a maximum of four characters per player to be made. This may change in the future.

Below we've listed a very brief explanation and only three examples of what would be a breed beneath a particular species.

We want to leave room for creativity, so that you can truly make your characters and their stories your own so our guideline is minimal.

The Character Sheet

Name: Character name
Nickname: Character nickname

Species: Siphoners, Shapeshifters, Drafters, Mystic, Human
Breed: The actual creature - vampire, banshee, werelion, mage, etc. If human, this is N/A

Home: Where do they live? What area/place? As vague or specific as you want
Occupation: What do they do for work? Normal mortal job, supernatural job, both, neither?

Age: Character age (remember, age cap is 500 unless you chatted a GM first - and please do, we're super open)
Birthday: Character birthday

Gender: Character gender
Sexuality: Character sexuality

Faceclaim: Character faceclaim

Appearance: Both human and non-human form descriptions, if they have the latter!

Personality: We ask that you put at least 7 traits (some positive, some negative). A paragraph is preferred, but not mandatory!



Strengths: Physical, mental, magical, whichever. Can you lift 300 pounds? Can you cast really big spells? Are you immune to psychic intrusion? 3-5 strengths here please.

Weaknesses: Same as above, only weaknesses instead. 3-5 weaknesses here - we just want some drawbacks to your powers/species

Species: We allow players to write their own iterations of the species they chose. You write a witch? It's your idea of what a witch is and what their powers are. You want to write Cullen-style vamps while someone else writes Dracula? Go for it. Just give us an overview of how YOUR character's species works, here. If you're writing a species someone else created, feel free to just summarize it based off their writeup. Ideally this will be a paragraph minimum.



History: The older your character is, the more of this that needs to be filled out. A 20-something doesn't have much history, but a 500 year old being does. We don't need every detail of their life, but if you can at least summarize each century or period in their life, that'd be preferable!

Drafters To draw power from a special source... What Are They? In this modern era, there is countless fiction depicting people with strange and unexplainable abilities and powers...Able to draw magic from the earth or were born with a special ability...   Potential Breeds Mages (witches, warlocks, wizards, etc) Psychics/Metahumans/Mutants (wielders of some strange ability like telepathy, mind control, and more) Dabblers/Tinkerers (technically a human but someone generally obsessed with powers they were not born with nor naturally able to explore without excruciating research.) Prohibited From Play These will be few but whatever is prohibited may pertain to a players religious or otherwise personal reasonings to prohibit a creature from the game. Please respect the decision of the Game Masters on this matter... None at this time...

Shapeshifters To change from one form to another... What Are They? There are countless legends of shapeshifting creatures across the world in myth and legend. Creatures that have more than one form they exist in. In the modern world they must all possess a human form but can shift to something else...   Potential Breeds Werecreatures (werewolves, werelions, werepanthers, etc) Familiars (companion to witches, able to amplify their powers and are often their guides in their craft) Ghouls (a cannibalistic creature that can appear human) Prohibited From Play These will be few but whatever is prohibited may pertain to a players religious or otherwise personal reasonings to prohibit a creature from the game. Siphoners To survive on the essence of another.. What Are They? Ageless monsters who prey on humans, whether it's to take their flesh, their blood, their emotions or energy. These creatures need to feast on humans and other creatures in order to survive...   Potential Breeds Vampires/Psychic Vampires (creatures that drink blood or emotions from others) Djinns (feed off of their preys deepest desires and life force) Shtriga (feed off of ones living life force in order to remain immortal, usually the younger the better like children or teens and young adults...) Prohibited From Play These will be few but whatever is prohibited may pertain to a players religious or otherwise personal reasonings to prohibit a creature from the game. Please respect the decision of the Game Masters on this matter... None at this time...

Mystics Great Beasts & Beings of legend... What Are They? Dragons, merfolk, demons and angels. These are the creatures of epic tales and myths. The ones that have boggled the human mind for centuries...   Potential Breeds Dragons (great scaled beasts of magical strength and prowess) Merfolk (kin of the sea that come in many forms from selkies, kelpies to mermaids and men) Wendigo's (terrifying creatures that were once human but sought forbidden dark powers to become more) Prohibited From Play These will be few but whatever is prohibited may pertain to a players religious or otherwise personal reasonings to prohibit a creature from the game. Please respect the decision of the Game Masters on this matter... Given the tendency to be over-powered, these sorts of characters will need to be discussed with the Game Masters to make sure they fit into the game.

Supernatural beings tend to know about one another, but normal humans don't usually know about supernaturals. It's not a hard rule though, some humans are very much aware. The majority won't be, though. So, mostly secret, yes!
