5th DnD game inspired by many references

Kunoichi: Fine with story and setup, but just confirmation that most likely reason (your char may not know it) but the reason for getting your char 'killed off' by orcs via fucking likely came not because she ran out of use (the family could have kept your entire life as sex slave easily her entire life), but most likely some church member or even inquisitor had started 'investigate' rumors about their heir and the squire's activities (heir has instructed use her alone but heir wanted extra cash and went beyond what family wanted and thus rumors started) more closely and heir was informed to get rid of her because slavery (any) is strictly illegal (as well killing any divine brand hero by any Atlantica people will get them branded with sinner's mark which is a death sentence and source of extreme shame). Also, a discovery that they purposefully had sex with her (a tainted being) would be shameful and a sign of weakness among nobility (even if the reason was to break/raise the family's limit but it's viewed as a weakness to depend on such from non-human and even then only consented relations are allowed than non-consent). Atlantica can be assholes but they are 'righteous' assholes and they do have laws that even nobility has to follow (and most laws are based on being righteous, justice, valorous etc). Naturally many Atlantica nobility skip around rules behind a veil of secrecy and at heart are self-serving and corrupt. The pretense you were sold was labeled as criminal (traitor), so your criminal slave which sadly reduced the cost but your being willing for slavery neither noble families likely could not trust to work.

I still haven't completely finished my backstory yet and plan to do so when I get home from work today, but I have made some small edits now to work in some of those details you mentioned.

Since then, she's been using her magical talents to switch masters every so often, probably specifically with something like the Suggestion spell to convince her current master to sell her off any time someone she's interested in makes the offer to buy her. She'll have deliberately made her way to the Azure City like that, since I'm guessing that's where you'll be starting the game.

Since her goal is going to be to get back to Atlantica eventually and find a way to get revenge on those who wronged her, I'm thinking at the moment that she might either belong to someone of influence who could act as a patron for the party, or else she belongs to some small brothel in the red light district and will 'convince' her current employer to let her go off on adventures and eventually sell her to the party.

Ok, the slavery contract does not prevent slaves from using mind magic to influence clients (so long as any actions they do are not intended to harm their owners physically). So the story is plausible. However, there can be a past client or two who may have wondered why they sold their treasured slave (assuming the price which they sold you was fair as is by Guild rates).

The starting location is not yet fully decided but I keep in mind you may have 'handler GMPC' master or mistress whom you may decide anytime use suggestions on to sell her to the party.

Forgot to reply to this; albeit there are many sexual/lewd stuff related to the game/lore/events, any player can choose not to partake in the shenanigans happening. Thus why I mentioned anyone who plays natives can decide do they have a limit or not (so thus not force them to have sex just sake to get level up). Same for needing players' OOC consent for any lewd things happening or done to their characters (and ofc respect any offs the player has in sexual stuff wise).

Alright I've got it!
After allot of consideration I've settled on one character I care the most for!

Thistle, real name Lilliana. No known family name.
She appears mostly human, but is a bit of a mutt. Her mother was half orc.

She was raised as a barbarian by her Mother, Thorne from a previous game, but has recently started training as a rogue on her own and hopes to one day be able to control her innate magic talent.
She is 2 levels Barbarian and 1 level Rogue. I plan to put lvls in Rogue as she progresses and make her an Arcane Trickster.

Thistle is a hot headed young girl with a sporty and mischievous attitude.
She has naturally hot red hair, and a mild tan over her olive skin tone.
She has a short and soft body. While not necessarily considered muscular she has an athletic body of a swimmer.

Normally she dresses in light clothing. Shorts and sleeveless tops.

Thistle is a virgin, however she has given a blowjob before to a boy she liked under embarrassing circumstances.

This world is all new to her. Thistle recently awoke to this world and for sometime believed she was in some dream. The world she came from was also a fantasy world, but one much different from this. Everything is so similar, yet new and unfamiliar to her. Without any friends or family Thistle has been struggling to get by and find her place here. Which is why she recently turned to thieving as a Rogue. Breaking in and stealing, taking odd jobs. What it takes for her to survive.

*I do give consent to have her exposed to lewd and sexual things. Whether it be with other PCs or with NPCS. consensually or Non-Con if she is defeated.

Crimson: Char looks good and interesting twist that she isekaid from another fantasy world than modern earth-like world. But reminder you cannot cast spells (or concentrate one) while raging as barbarian so a bit odd mix there. But not forbid it but just remind limitation.

Yeah it's a bit of an intentionally odd mix. Basically I would have to choose to either be able to cast spells or raging. The plan so far is to have spells to help her out side of combat, then drop into rage when she just needs to hit someone. And I can always drop out of rage if I really need to cast a spell. This might be a terrible idea, but I do have a few levels to go before I can reach arcane trickster with her. So I may change and pick another subclass for her when/if the time comes.

Soul Knife actually might be good with that. There is nothing in any of the text for it that says you need a clear mind or the ability to concentrate. the blades it creates are Finnse and thrown so sneak attack will still apply(although you can use strength for attack and still get sneak attack and rage bonus while raging) and a nice resource to use as well.

Though without having much opportunity to build up any adventuring skills growing up, he fell into prostitution as a means to get by. However over time his regulars started noticing their level caps being broken, eventually exposing him as an isekai'd. It was around that time that his sorcerous blood finally awakened, though the chaotic magic held a damning similarity to Zatash's.

Bio: Serana is the daughter of an isekai'd hero of Atlantica. After being pulled into another world, her father went on many adventurers. Originally he was seeking a way to return to his own world, but eventually gave that up to enjoy the heroic status he held in Anama instead, eventually marrying into the royal family. Serana was the result of that marriage, a Princess of beautiful visage, strong body, brilliant mind. And while the royal family didn't hold much actual power in Atlantica, she was still adored by those who respected the royal lineage.

While her father had originally abandoned his goal of returning to his home world, as he grew older he developed a deeper and deeper longing to see his home once more. However he was past the age of accomplishing this on his own, so he requested Serana to act in his stead, to discover a means of traveling to another world so that he might see his home one last time before he dies. Serana was happy to accept her father's request, and now works as an adventurer in secret (except to the Guild itself) to hopefully discover a means of traveling to another world.

Bio: Back in her home world Karen was a powerful business woman, the CEO of her own finance company. Hers was a ruthless business, specializing in financing small business and entrepreneurs and then taking them for everything they were worth when they couldn't make their payments. She would then use her profits to buy out other companies to limit the alternatives these small business owners could turn to. She had just finished closing on one such buyout, the biggest in company history, when karma struck in the form of a speeding truck, sending her flying straight into another world.

When Karen awoke in Anama she was a nobody, forced to start from the very bottom in an unfamiliar land. However her experience had done nothing to quell her ruthless ambition, and she started doing everything in her power to start building up her wealth and influence. There was no limit to what she was willing to do, from prostitution to mercenary work. Her true goal was to build up funds to eventually start her own business, but her pride and refusal to work for the Guild, along with a stigmatizing mark of Zatash (nsfw), have hindered her efforts so far.

I allow barrier tattoo to be womb tattoo in function and as a freebie have the common cheap functions (the three triggered glow/mini functions). As the cheapest one is a common one and combining it with any rarer tattoos will come for free.

As a note with spellwrought any spell mimicking tattoo is +1 tier higher when it's 1/day (+ spell lot use) and at-will spell ones are +2 in rarity but the save DC/Attack roll bonus is based on the rarity where you get tattoo (than from what level spell it mimics). For example can have a wizard with eldricth blast at-will as a uncommon tattoo (but have +5 attack modifier as base unless your own profiency+charisma would give better bonus). In case 1st level spells it's a rare tattoo to get daily 1/use or at-will and gives +7 or +9 attack roll (or save DC 15 or 17 depending on rarity).

To get higher level than 1st spells ask for legendary or even greater rarity. But usually spell tattoos are one-shot wonders which scale from cantrip to 5th level. Usually, dragonmarks/aberran dragonmarks provide greatest benefits as magic brands go but those aren't in sale but rather born with or acquired somehow.

Yes she's moving in secret, hence the big ol' armor and what not. I imagine being from the royal family there would be strings that could be pulled to help get her out of the kingdom unhampered, especially since her father is in on it.

Strangely enough there is a tentacle spell.  Think its mostly warlock but wizards might have access to it as well. But you can't really get more lovecraftian tentacle monster more than a warlock.

As far as races. Plasmoid from the spelljammer content and I think simic hybrid from ravnica have stuff that can be or act like tentacles.

I believe the Arms of Hadar and Hunger of Hadar spells also involve tentacles. Those are on the Warlock spell list as 1st and 3rd level spells, respectively. The Great Old One Warlock gets Black Tentacles as a bonus spell from its patron, as well. Also, arguably any reach weapon could be flavored as a tentacle, which would work well with the Pact of the Blade. A whip could be a fitting option, for example.

Although, looking over some other suggestions via Google, you could also go Pact of the Tome and then pick up the Thorn Whip cantrip from the Druid spell list, and reflavor it as a tentacle. That might be perfect, depending on what your concept is.

Edit: Looking into it a bit further, the Fathomless patron might be even more perfect for you if you specifically want to summon and control tentacles. The class features added by that subclass are all about tentacles, though it has more of a deep ocean theme, rather than a cosmic horror theme like the Great Old One patron.

Indeed, womb tattoos can have functions of Periapt of Health example and minor functions which are found in all common womb tattoos. Also divine brand can work as arcane focus (and need add divine brands can manifest any shape/size, as some heroes have entire back covering brands or brands in foreheads etc). Using divine brand as arcane focus makes it obvious when you use arcane focus the brand glows when used as arcane focus (but if covered it does not work).

Avernale: Kunoichi covered all bases well regarding gaining control of tentacles, Fathomless warlock is the best one for that theme. But as added note if you go for pact of blade and get invocation which adds +1 enchantment to it (and expands forms it can take), there is 'dildo weapons' which can take phallic shape and be used as sex toys (so thus not against for warlock patron granting tentacle longsword which can be used as sex tool).

True, being part of royal family would give you access resources and sheer ability to pull it off. As despite thousand years, royal family has maintained purity of their level cap as original as blessed heroes so most royal family members can reach higher levels than most nobles (who are cousins/half-siblings by lineage wise). Also even if church is all out puritan assholes, royal family is less extreme but still following teachings of the church willingly than forced to. But royal family is unhappy for church having higher authority but they cannot help it as church has support of noble families. Albeit in irony royal family has most freedom to act while noble families are at mercy of the church (albeit said freedom they need conciously take risks condemned as heretics and if any royal family member would get caught, it's accepted fact despite how family feels about given family member they as unified front condemn them publicly as means protect the rest of family).

So your char has taken knowingly risk being labelled as heretic/traitor in undergoing the quest, final wish, from your father, in searching answer amongst 'heretics and blasphemers'. Would you like roleplay the first days as among heretics and sort suffer cultural shocks being exposed to Free Nations cultures?
