The Legend of Concubines in Asia [M looking for F Characters]

Hello there, my name is Vicodin. Thank you for opening up this thread and indulging me in a new idea that I found that has inspired me greatly. This idea mainly focuses on many different characters, so those that wouldn't mind juggling men and women will be heavenly for this idea. I can also accept writers who are only willing to play the females, but there may be times where I might want to borrow a female character or two. Please PM me if you are interested in this game. Currently, I'm only interested in writers that can write 3+ paragraphs.

The idea:
The idea is based on the historical appearance of concubines in the Qing dynasty. I've recently watched a show called "The Legend of Zhen Huan" and the series was an amazing drama based on concubine life. I do not wish to reenact the drama directly, but I see a story based on this life to be a very fun combination of story and smut. There are plenty of characters in the drama, from concubines and maids to princes and doctors and guards, not to mention the emperor and empress. I believe the fun not only would come from when the concubines go to bed, but from the political intrigue that could come with each other wanting to curry the emperor's favor.

Of course, information is slow in this era and there are secrets everywhere. What type of secrets and lives can we play out within the palace walls? Does this take place in Japan, Korea, or China? Does it take place in a mythical combination of all three so that we can have more fun with face claims? I'm open to ideas.

Here are some concubine ideas:

An older concubine who has already had a child with the emperor and might be growing older and out of favor.

A haughty concubine with a family member in the royal court who enjoys the riches of living.

A new, starry-eyed concubine (or twins!) who just have been selected for service.

A political prisoner of war who was given a final chance to serve.

A princess or woman from another country whose husband dies while within the kingdom.
