Posts | Length, Frequency and Expectations

Typically I like to provide 2-3 posts a week. That said, I love a lively OOC/banter with my partner.
For a single character, I am happy to produce anywhere from 4-10 paragraphs. To me, quantity and quality are not mutually exclusive.
I love to write posts and my ideal partner is someone who is motivated and excited to meet my passion.
There are times where a post calls for something short akin to 3-4 paragraphs if our characters are conversing or in an otherwise intimate scene but there also moments where a long post is needed to summaries or transition to another scene.
Third person past tense is what I prefer, as I strive to ensure there is a distinction between myself and my characters.
Lastly, I'm not going to bother you unless it's been a few weeks. I have other things I do besides surf the web. I suspect my partners have obligations offline as well. Please respect my time away from the computer, as I will yours.

Characters | Canon and OCs

All Canons and OCs will be aged up so they are 20 years old at minimum.
I prefer M x F romances but might be open to F x F or M x M as a secondary pairing.
I am a firm believer in Canon x Canon pairings. I find it easier to plot when both writers know the characters.
I play either gender though I do prefer playing women, but as I said in the title, doubling is no issue for me.
If we are doubling and the attention is unbalanced, I will voice my concern. However, if the pattern continues without correction, I am very likely to leave the RP.
If we do OC x Canon, I am once again fine with playing either gender and will be open to M x F, M x M or M x F.
If we do OC x Canon, I will not accept a Character Sheet already filled out.
I have a system which has produced good OCs, it is in which both us suggest 3-4 concepts and brainstorm together, deciding what we're comfortable with and not comfortable with including. I have a few tropes/no-no's when it comes to creating/accepting OCs. It is my goal to make sure neither of us feels stuck with someone else's OC and are just agreeable to get their own needs met.
Should we do OC x Canon, doubling will be required and if it feels as though one of us is going through the motions, we should address the concerns and fix them. Plots should develop all characters equally.

Plotting | Keeping the Flame Lit

I want a partner, someone who can suggest ideas and be dynamic.
Far too often, I am at the front of the pack, leading the way and it is very tiring and leaves me uninspired.
If either of us have an issue with the story or pace, it should be voiced. Neither of us are mind readers. If I do not know there's an issue, it cannot be mended.
My partner being happy is a priority, there is zero interest in our RP becoming an obligation or chore. Sure, RPs can hit a temporary lull but I believe we should still be excited and motivated to write together.
I believe active plotting ensures we're both on the same page and still motivated. A silent partner is a boring partner.

Smut | Kinks and Such

I prefer we have 80-85% plot with 20-15% smut.
I will share my kinks and limits privately but for long-term RPs, some darker kinks will be off-limits or will be introduced after a lot of development has taken place in the RP itself.
I do not rush to smut scenes. If you're someone who does, please do not contact me.

Fandoms | Pairings and Cravings

Below you will find a list of what I'm currently on the hunt to write, in order from 'YAAAAS' to 'maaaybe.'
As I mentioned, all characters will be adjusted so they are 20 years old, plot tweaks included.

     - - - - - Gravity Falls -

Notes: I am happy to crossover with The Owl House, Star vs The Forces of Evil, Amphibia, Phineas and Ferb, and possibly some anime. And again, I am happy to play either gender and do multiple ships with someone.

Concept 1: Dipper and Mabel return to Gravity Falls following college. During their time away, Ford had harnessed the elixir of youth and he and Stan had been able to revert back to their 30s. Meanwhile, Wendy, Candy, Gideon, Robbie and the others have continued their life in Gravity Falls and have their own paths to follow. Candy for instance, is a photographer and writer, traveling around the state to promote small towns. Even Pacifica has begun many charities to help the lesser folks of Gravity Falls, her parents having moved to NYC, having grown bored of the town and their daughter. Dipper and Mabel can now resume their adventures with Ford and Stan, while trying to enjoy life without the shadow of Cipher.

Concept 2: Taking place in the late early to late 1980s. Stan and Ford haven't spoken in ten years since Stan was kicked out of his home in New Jersey. Both nearing 30, Ford summons Stan to Gravity Falls, his paranoia getting the best of him as he scrambles to dismantle the portal and stop Cipher. On his roadtrip up to Oregon, Stanley picks up two hitch-hikers named Mabel and Dipper Hirsch who tag along with Stanley Pines. Once in Gravity Falls, Ford agrees (with some resistance at first) to house Stan, Mabel and Dipper. Ford is nervous about telling Stan what he's been up to and the brothers have a lot of words left unspoken. As the four begin to warm up to one another, Stan and Ford fall into portal together and it is up to Mabel and Dipper to repair it and bring them back home.

The following concepts are for Benny x Beth but I am happy to plot for other pairs!

Concept 1: Upon winning in Moscow, Beth returns to the USA and visits Benny in New York City. She wants to celebrate but also thank him for helping her. She has a few engagements to attend and would like his company, as socializing is more his thing, than hers. She begins to consider moving out of Lexington and up to NYC so she can find work part-time as she focuses on international chess events. We would have Beth live with Benny while she gets on her feet and they look to competing abroad, while restarting their friendship. Both a bit shy and guarded but still fond of the other.

Concept 2: Borgov and his wife cannot have children due to medical issues and adopt Beth from an Americas orphanage. Beth begins to train as a ballerina and is soon tasked with going to America to throw off their star chess player, Benny Watts. She is expected to catch his eye and distract him from chess. However, Beth ends up picking up chess as a hobby and realizes that she is quite good and being used by her family and the Russian government politically. She gets close to Benny during various international chess tournaments and realizes she has genuine feelings for him and doesn't wish to aid her father any longer in his schemes. She makes a plan to run away with Benny to NYC.

Concept 3: Beth's birth mother never kills herself and Beth ends up living a normal life, with her mother pulling herself together to be the mother Beth needs. She is close with her mother and has made many friends during her high school tenure. In due time, Beth takes up journalism and eventually is tasked with following Benny Watts around. Beth has graduated high school and seeing the summer job as something to do while she waits to begin college. She works as a writer for Chess Revive, Townes beginning to mentor the 18 year-old. She and Benny travel the country and some international venues as she writes about chess and Benny begins to teach her, Beth becoming quite good in a short amount of time. They grow close and Benny convinces Beth to not attend college, so she can dig into the chess world, much to her mother's dismay.

Concept 4: A fantasy/crossover twist where Benny and Beth stumble upon a rift that transports them to the wild west where they happen upon a town called La Belle where they help the city and try to find a way back to the present of 1969. They encounter a deputy who agrees to show them the ropes of living and surviving. A crossover with Godless.

     - - - - - Naruto -

Notes: We can do a modern college AU or crossover with another anime, like My Hero Academia or Yu Yu Hakusho or Pokemon Arceus. I'm open-minded but I also didn't enjoy where Shippuden went, direction wise so I want to focus on the characters prior to that timeskip and do our own thing.

Concept 1: The Academy accepts students from age 15 to age 20, prior to that, the youth of Konoha take basic schooling before deciding to become shinobi through the Academy. Our story takes place following the Academy graduation when all characters are 20-21 years of age.

The following concepts are for Shikamaru x Sakura but some can include another pair with adjustments.

Concept 2: Taking place during the two to three year gap when Naruto is gone (making them 21-22 years old). Shikamaru confesses to Sakura his feelings for his teammate, Ino. Shikamaru and Sakura decide to start dating in order to make Ino see Shikamaru as serious boyfriend material. Both Sakura and Shikamaru begin pretending to date and it quickly catches the eye of Ino. Shikamaru is visiting the hospital where she and Sakura train under Tsunade, seemingly happy to take Sakura out for lunch. Ino soon confronts Sakura about the sudden romance and Sakura insists it's genuine attraction but Ino isn't so sure. Either Shikamaru or Sakura will soon develop real feelings for the other as feelings become mangled, even more so when Tsunade sends Shikamaru, Ino and Sakura out on a mission together. This will be more slow burn than described of course, with us pacing ourselves slowly.

Concept 3: Everyone knew Shikamaru's home life wasn't perfect. His mother could often be heard yelling at her husband and son endlessly for the smallest of things. No one guessed that the woman could get violent though. Shikamaru never told anyone about the abuse until one day at the park after another confrontation, Sakura spots Shikamaru quite shaken and bruised. The two are nearing the end of their academy days (ages 20) and she offers him some comfort. When Sakura tells her parents of the abuse, they allow Shikamaru to seek refuge at their house for a while. Shikamaru's grades begin to improve as he and Sakura confide in one another and see that appearances can be deceiving.

Concept 4: Upon graduating the academy (everyone 19-20 years old), Team Seven under Kakashi-Sensei consists of Sasuke, Sakura and Shikamaru. Rather than be paired up with Ino and Chouji as expected, Shikamaru requested a different path, much to the surprise of his elders. Oddly enough, the trio get along rather well. Team Seven is filled with underdogs and has a lot to prove. Sasuke and Shikamaru bond as friends and the more Shikamaru notices Sakura fawning over Sasuke, the more he becomes intrigued with the prospect of romance, something he's seldom considered. But during the fight against Zabuza, Sasuke is killed, leaving Team Seven fractured and reeling. Sakura and Shikamaru begin to bond, supporting one another as Sakura is reassigned to Kurenai's team and Shikamaru, to Asuma's. Obviously we'd pace things out much slower. And I don't mind taking on the role of Sasuke or us sharing that.

     - - - - - Avatar the Last Airbender & Legend of Korra -

Notes: I am aging Aang up to 21, Katara to 23, Sokka to 25, Zuko to 25, Suki to 25, Toph to 20, Azula to 23. And Korra to 22, Asami to 23, Mako to 24, Bolin to 22. Crossover and AUs welcome here. Many of the following concepts are geared toward only one or two pairings but we can adjust if you want, no worries.

Concept 1: Asami Sato is in the ATLA-timeline. Her father is a wealthy, highly regarded inventor and works closely with the Beifong Family. I would love Asami to be a bender but it's not necessary. My thought would be that Asami thwarts an assassination attempt post-series on the new Fire Lord, Zuko. I would love to have Asami take on the role of the Blue Spirit, not knowing Zuko was the Blue Spirit himself. I would love them to interact in high society and bond that way too. Probably my second most favorite Zuko ship behind Toph and him.

Concept 2: Probably my least favorite Zuko ship but I'm open to it. I have an idea where Katara's mother is killed, but so is Sokka, as he's an assumed waterbender. Rather than kill Katara, the Fire Nation brings back Katara to serve the royal family as a maid. In secret, Katara practices her waterbending. She could encounter the Blue Spirit at night when she's out running errands for Zuko and Azula after a large skip into the 'present' of the story. I would love Zuko and Katara to bond over time and maybe both escape the Fire Nation together to find the Avatar and eventually Toph maybe. A rough idea but I don't really think in the main canon timeline that Katara would end up with anyone except Aang so that's my thought.

Concept 3: Post-series would work best here. Aang and the group are all split up and Toph stays back with Zuko to tutor him in how to handle the royal lifestyle. I would also love for Toph to get her life-changing field trip so I think them going back to see her parents would be important too. This is probably my most favorite Zuko ship honestly.

Concept 4: Asami and Mako try to repair their relationship after the kiss during season one. Meanwhile, Korra and Bolin try to focus on perfectng their pro-bending moves. I would like us to pace season one differently and possibly have Korra restart her bending for all the elements at the end after Amon takes them away from her.

Concept 5: Korra in the ATLA-timeline as some kind of singular bender. Probably water or earth. I think depending on Korra's affiliation in terms of geography, she and Aang can naturally cross paths and decide to stick together post-series with everyone else on their own, helping the world rebuild.

Notes: I actually have a hefty amount of concepts for this so I won't be sharing them here, but I also have them buried off-site. But I am happy to dig them out as they're all about 1-2 lines and not very lengthy, as they're more ideas than something fleshed out. But I will say crossovers here or AUs might be possible. Most of my concepts are L x Misa related but the one below, is somewhat open I'd say, just to get the ball rolling. Also, Light is in university, not high school. He's 20, Misa is 22 and L is 25. Sayu is 19 and Naomi is 26.

Concept 1: Rather than Kira killing the man who murdered Misa Amane's parents, it is Misa herself who does it with her own Death Note. Now she is not indebtted to Kira, she ends up approaching L and his Task Force, looking aid them in their pursuit of Kira. Misa explained the Death Note and agrees to seek out Kira, as she has the Shinigami Eyes. Now she works for L as a double agent, along with Naomi Misora and Light's father.

     - - - - - Game of Thrones -

Notes: The following two concepts are mainly Jaime x Sansa. The third is for Joffrey x Arya, though the first could be tweaked to include Joffrey x Arya. Also all canons are aged up drastically. Sansa is 21, Arya is 20, Joffrey is 24.

Concept 1: Set at the beginning of season one, Tywin and Robert both agree to have Jaime leave the Kingsguard in order to marry the eldest Stark daughter, Sansa. Due to Joffrey's inexperience, the men believe Jaime would be a suitable King in the event Robert dies. Sansa and Ned go to King's Landing while Ayra stays behind. To them, it is an unnecessary plan but one they wish to consider all the same, given Robert's health.
Once in King's Landing, Sansa bonds with Cersei, unaware she's dealing with her husband-to-be's lover. Jaime isn't too pleased with his new lot in life and shows a fleeting interest in the young Stark. Joffrey still targets Sansa, knowing how weak she is. During one of his verbal or physical bouts, Jaime happens to pass by and intervenes. Jaime decides to take more of an interest in Sansa, sensing how out of depth she is in King's Landing. The two begin to talk more, leaving Cersei feeling slighted.
Cersei tasks Joffrey with breaking Sansa down any way he can. When Jaime sees what Cersei is up to, he is quite upset. Cersei then poisons Robert and decides to put the blame on both Ned and Sansa Stark, citing that with Robert gone, Jaime and Sansa can now take the Iron Throne. The people of King's Landing begin to revolt, questioning the Stark name, just as Cersei intended. Ned is put on trial but Jaime decides to pardon him and send him across the sea to deal with the remaining Targaryen. Jaime doesn't believe Ned nor Sansa would kill Robert and instead has no choice but to believe it is Cersei behind the death.
With her back against the wall, Cersei manages to turn the whole city against Jaime and Sansa, both being forced to flee the city as Joffrey is now declared King of the Seven Kingdoms. He and Cersei declare war on the North.
Again, pacing here will be very slow but this just my thoughts on the timeline of general events, as I want my partner to add their feedback.

Concept 2: Set during the minor riot in King's Landing during the beginning half of season two, Sansa escapes being raped and finds a way out of King's Landing by hiding in a cart going out of town. She refuses to marry someone like Joffrey and believes she can seek refuge where Jon is.
Rather than being captured by Cat Stark, Jaime returns to King's Landing, only to be tasked with bringing Sansa back. Not too far behind, he catches up with her and intends on bringing her back to Joffrey. When Sansa explains to him all the horrible things done to her, Jaime has a change of heart. Cersei, not having heard from her lover in a few weeks, puts a bounty on Sansa's head for treason, suspecting it would speed things along but it only brings trouble to Sansa and Jaime. Sensing danger closing in, Jaime teaches Sansa a bit of swordplay as they try to make it further North in secret. Jaime decides he'll help Sansa before returning to Cersei.
Soon Bolton's soldiers capture them and Jaime stops them from raping Sansa, the result costs him a hand (or fingers, I'm open). The two escape, only for Sansa to be captured and sent to marry Ramsay Bolton, Jaime takes it upon himself to go rescue her in the recently conquered Winterfell. A lot of things still to work out regarding Arya, Robb, Cat and Tyrion's place in all this. Some events are shifted around, suggestions welcomed.

Concept 3: Set during season one, Arya takes note of how unhappy Sansa is once they arrive at King's Landing. Though Sansa says she is happy, her eyes are dull and lifeless. After some spying, Arya notices bruises on Sansa's arms and waist. It is clear there is something happening behind closed doors and she confronts Sansa who denies everything while begging her younger sister to keep her mouth shut and to not tell their father her concerns. Arya then approachs Joffrey with a sickening proposal.
She wants him to take out his anger and sexual desire on her, leaving Sansa alone.
Joffrey is amused by the idea and agrees.
He enjoys a challenge and by his word, leaves Sansa alone, only interacting her as a doting lover, much to Arya's relief at Sansa being kept safe.
Joffrey soon catches Arya practicing her swordplay and the two begin an odd friendship as she teaches him to fight, as she clearly can hold her own better than he can, while Joffrey wishes to prove himself to Arya, that he's not the monster she believes him to be. Joffrey hadn't made a genuine friend until Arya, someone to stand up to him while also being able to nudge her towards being more graceful and soft. The two make each other better but Petyr and Cersei begin to suspect something isn't right.
When Robert is killed and Ned is sentenced to death, Joffrey spares him and sends him to handle Dany, much to Cersei's anger. The city of King's Landing then revolts as Cersei and Petyr have been plotting to poison Joffrey's image politically, believing he would rise to the challenge and prove himself a stern ruler. Instead, Joffrey and Arya flee together, Cersei's control slipping as she pushes Jaime to the throne, as war is declared upon the North and Sansa is held captive.
