Malara

Hello there, E!  After what is a shockingly long numbers of years (years?!  yes gods!) away, I've found my way back, prodigal daughter that I am, and am in want/need of some writing partners!

About me:  You'll already notice, but out of character, I'm a little...quirky?  Weird?  Silly?  A smartass?  Well...yep, just about all of that!  I'm a pretty fun, social sort, so don't be shy about saying hi!

Posting availability and length:  I'm usually around for multiple posts per day during the week.  It cer certainly vary, but as a general rule, weekends = bad, weekdays = some free time.

As for length...insert bad joke about penis size here.  Anyways!  I'm one of those lovely but obnoxious creatures who tries to give as good as I get.  If you give me one-liners, but they're fan-freaking-tastic and move the story along?  I'll be right there with you!  Give me Dostoyevsky?  Once my eyes stop bleeding, I'll get you back with enough text to crush a modestly-sized sedan!  My "sweet-spot" is in the 2-4 paragraph range, generally speaking.

Ons/Offs:  These are pretty fluid, honestly.  Scat is probably my only true, consistent hard limit.  Otherwise, my kinks are quite fluid.  Depending on my partner and the scene, I could be vanilla but fun, or we could get into some craziness and make Bosch, Escher, and Lovecraft all quail in fearful confusion.  I don't usually walk into a story with specific kinks in mind, so if there's something you especially like, sound off!  Otherwise, expect a bit of everything.

Story types:  By this I don't mean plots.  I mean, what kinds of stories do I like to tell?  And I tend to prefer longer-term stories.  One-shots can be great, they're just not my bread-and-butter.  I do tend to enjoy a fair bit of smut (or I wouldn't be here!), but generally, I'm leaning anywhere from a 50/50 to 70/30 plot/smut ratio.  There will be reasons someone's howling, damn it!

Who I play:  Generally, I tend to play as either a woman or Futa.  I can, and occasionally will play a man, but more often than not, I'm on the more female side of things.

Who I play opposite:  Yes. :P  Men, women, Futas, Other-dimesionally-gendered beings, otters in snappy top hats...I think you're getting the gist here!  The right partner matters most; lining up bits and bobs is secondary.

Damn it Mal, get to the ideas already!  Ok, ok!

The concepts:  note – most of these concepts are based on characters have their roots in actual RPG characters I’ve played.  As such, actual game systems I wouldn’t mind using them for will be noted.

The daughter of destruction (Inspired by all sorts of modern spins on mythology)

Few people know it, and fewer still would be willing to advertise it, but the Gods are real.  Monsters, demons, angels and myths, all roam the earth in some form or another.  Lissa is a daughter of the gods.  A warrior who’s been tasked with hunting the monsters that threaten mankind from the shadows.  Trained to fight, she’s been used as an attack dog for the Gods for years.  But over time, she’s begun to wonder, even to suspect, that many of the Gods are just as bad as the other monsters she’s faced.  Will she continue to serve as humanity’s troubled protector, or will she rebel against her family and masters and reshape the world?

Living Wire-to-Wire (Inspired by Shadowrun/Cyberpunk)

Life in the sprawl is hard for some people.  Even hellish.  Unless, of course, you’ve got a skill that lets you name your own prices.  Danni had a reputation in Seattle for being a particularly talented and unscrupulous mage.  Bored with a day job, she quit and decided to make her reputation in the Shadows.  While the night-innocent-looking dwarf girl in the corner may not seem like much, she relishes the look on her foes’ faces a few spells and a well-aimed Predator into a run.  Always looking for the next big thrill—and payday, Danni has yet to meet the run she won’t at least consider.

No rest for the (not so) wicked (Inspired by D&D and nearly every damn fantasy novel in the history of ever)

Amara’s reputation over the years varied wildly.  A thief.  A warrior.  An assassin.  A dragonslayer.  Depending on who anyone speaks to, the infamous half-orc is either a consummate rogue, only out for herself, or a misunderstood beacon of compassion, looked down on for her race and humble beginnings.  And at the end of the day, they’d all be right…a little.  What never changes though, is that despite her best efforts to stay retired, trouble always finds its way to her.  And when trouble knocks, Amara can’t resist answering…sometimes rather forcefully.

For Glory and Plunder! (Inspired by Warhammer 40k)

Andronica Garrius is the latest scion of the long and noble lineage of the Most Righteous House of Garrius, an ancient Rogue Trader family who made their fortune when the imperium of Man was still young, and have maintained a lofty perch for most of the intervening millennia.  Of late though, their fortunes have been less than stellar.  Plagued by misfortune, they rely more on name recognition than actual vast fortunes these days.  Andronica, the aspiring soul that she is, has never been satisfied with that.  Taking the family’s Warrant (quite literally), she has spent the last decade or so sailing the furthest stars, exploring new worlds and civilizations, exploiting them merrily when she can, and occasionally sending a few choice morsels to the Imperium in the name of family loyalty.

Why should God-Kings have all the fun? (Inspired by Exalted)

The northeastern edges of Creation are a harsh, unforgiving region.  Between the Fair Folk, the Bull of the north, and the slowly-piquing interest of the Deathlords, it feels like people can hardly spit without hitting something that wants to spend their lives like so many talents of jade.  Of course, in those times, some whisper that if you want something done, pray for an Anathema to take notice.  If you really want something done, pray for Seventh Unfurled Lotus.  A powerful and dangerous Lunar, he/she is said to act as the people’s protector, eagerly smiting the wicked regardless of their agenda.  Is this mysterious Lunar out for vengeance?  On a mission?  Simply bored?  Only Lotus can tell.

Leaps and bounds in technology have been fantastic!  By 2100, mankind's ability to manipulate data has reached new highs.  Virtual Reality is all the rage, and smart people are raking in money hand-over-fist taking advantage of it!  Lucy is a gamer.  Her stream is fairly popular, but not wildly so.  Until, of course, she was scouted, and offered a sponsorship...if she's willing to livestream playing in adult VR games!  Games where, of course, her devoted fans can bid for the rights to join the game, and take full advantage of her (too bad she didn't read the fine print)!

PLOTLINGS:

What are these?  Simple!  They're ideas I have that haven't reach the point where I have a particular character envisioned, but where I have enough brewing in my head to work up something fun with an interested partner!

Star Wars: I imagine this set either Pre-prequels or Post-all the damn movies.  My Character is a Jedi (not like her father before her; he was something much less interesting!).  Though how good of a Jedi she is may be up for debate.  She loves the excitement and thrills of her life, traveling to strange new worlds, exploring, righting wrongs, all that fun stuff!  Though she's never done anything Dark, she does seem like the kind of who could totally be led astray, drunk on her own power.  Or simply captured by a vengeful foe and subjected to lord knows what, or even a (kind of bad) role model to other Jedi following in her image!

Harry Potter:  My Character is a witch of no small amount of skill and power.  Perhaps an Auror tracking down Dark wizards, or a Dark wizard herself, preying on those weaker than her!  In either case, she's certainly the sort of use (or be subjected to) magic used in...interesting ways, and for her own reasons.  Lots of room to toy with plotlines here, going in any number of directions!

Superheroes:  My Character is a new superhero, in a world where heroes are admired and treated like celebrities...for better or worse.  What she'll do with her power?  Who can say?  Will she join a team?  Strike out on her own?  Does she want to be loved and admired, or is she living for the thrill and perks?  Is everything as nice on the ionside as it seems from the outside?  Only one way to say for sure!

Welcome back! What a wonderful return thread. Glad to see you here.

Malara

I've added a few little plot bites, where I don't have a character formed, but have enough ideas to make it worth brainstorming with a partner...come look!

I have emerged from the place of spells and faeries (and will think you're awesome if you know the reference without looking it up)!  After several not-so-minor crises, I'm back, available, and hoping to find someone who wants to partner up for some RP fun!
