Magic schools around the world have introduced university years for graduated high school students that wish to return and pursue a more career path oriented higher education.
Attending the nearest school to your region is not enforced and students are permitted to apply to and attend any school of their choosing for university if they have desire to study abroad.

Which brings us to Beauxbaton graduate Belle Lafontaine, who has left her beloved home of France to take her university years at Hogwarts…

Her reasons are most definitely a far cry different than most students deciding to study away from their country of origin… hers being the horrific crimes of her twin brother Laurent and the stigma befallen her entire family as a result of these crimes…

In a time when hate crimes upon muggles and muggle borns and blood purity in general are severally frowned upon… Laurent Lafontaine became entangled with a cult of blood supremacists called Tongue of the Snake, they achieved a terrible influence over the thoughts, opinions and overall morality of Laurent…

To please the supreme leader of this foul cult and complete his initiation as one of them… they pointed out a family of muggleborns that had recently moved into the area… they were the perfect target to make an example of and introduce the symbol of their organization…

Laurent’s task was the slaughter the family and then paint the Tongue of the Snake’s symbol as big as he could upon the wall…

Late that night, the deed done… Laurent went home, his eyes wild and excited… he went to his twin sister Belle and told her everything, expecting that his twin would naturally feel exactly as he did and be overjoyed at what he’d done for the ‘cause’...

Belle was anything but delighted, she was absolutely horrified and after Laurent had gone to bed… the distraught witch woke her parents and told them everything…

Laurent was turned into the French aurors the very next morning…

It hurt Belle… but she knew she did the right thing…

However, the damage was done and it spread like wildfire to the large of the French wizard community… within a day, the Lafontaine family name was tainted…

Afraid for her life after mysterious death threats began to make their way to the Lafontaine residence, Belle fled France to England, where she applied to attend Hogwarts.



At Hogwarts, while nothing like in France, some word has spread about the murders and Laurent Lafontaine, so Belle does endure some pretty cruel bullying from other students.

What I want to see is a sexy very misunderstood bad boy Slytherin student that takes it upon himself to be Belle’s protector and much more

I was thinking that at the appropriate time, we’d bring the cult back into the mix and perhaps attempts made to assassinate Belle for turning in Laurent.
