How do I add that Specialty? Also I seem to have run out of xp already unless I tone back on the "initial" Force abilities.

You can add a second specialization by investing 20xp.  A third specialization costs 30xp. A fourth, 40xp, and so on.

If you bought the armor that's 6,000cr, and it's restricted and such, then yes, it is beskar.  However, mechanically, within the framework of this game, it is not very much like beskar, as it has a defense of 1 and a soak of 2.  Of course, the armor can be modified.

That makes sense, blunt force trauma from impact force is still a thing even if the armor doesn't let whatever's hitting Shustihos through.

What do we currently have for characters? What gaps?

Edit: looks like there's a bounty hunter and engineer, so a spy should fill gaps in a bit.

I just worked with Metro a bit on building Shustihos, so I have familiarity with Shustihos and Rissa -

Rissa Cho-Iya is a Pantoran civil engineer (Engineer-Sapper).  Her character sheet is linked through her name, but she's effectively a combat engineer who has Presence 3 and a little bit of light sneakiness - she's not a mainline combatant, but she has a decent blaster, decent armour, and I dumped so much XP into skills omg.  Not sure I really need Athletics 3, so that might change, but it's there for now.  Also notable, Rissa has a Gank Comm Implant, in case anyone else decides their character might have risked (or had forced on them) risky neurosurgery for secure comms (and potential feedback or signal bleed in smut if players approve).  (Did I mention Rissa was radicalized during the Jedha insurgency and thinks more in line with the Partisans than most of the more ... mild Rebellion?)

Shustihos Halland is a Bounty Hunter - Skip Tracer with Mandalorian armour - she's actually lighter in combat skills than Rissa, but brings a tracking, basic piloting, and solid tankiness.  She also has a long-ranged blaster in case harassment is needed and can run a simple con or crack locks. Oh, and she's Force-Emergent healer, so ... "Cleric!"

Both Rissa and Shustihos have Presence 3 and some social ability, and Shustihos has the Good Cop talent for social doubleteaming (with potential smut applications)

Hexed is building a Melee-y tank build of some stripe.

Nightlux reported building something (no data), and Phantom mentioned someone submitting a Gungan Ace (Animal Handler).

I feel like we could benefit from a high-cunning Sleeper Agent, Saboteur or Infiltrator type of character with a strong emphasis on deception, skullduggery and social infiltration and/or a fire-support beatstick to provide Hexed's tank with cover fire.  Alternatively, I've been toying around with a Sleeper Agent build, so if the Tech role sings to you, I could pivot out of the Sapper role and you could take it over.

Double alternatively, a second tanky bruiser might be handy.  We are trying to take a base, so there might be lots of close quarters combat.

Shustihos is more or less complete. Can't wait to see the other characters.

PhantomPistoleer

I think I have enough characters to start the game.

I will confer with Dingus and Night to see what they're up to, and then I will wait for all interested parties to produce a character.

Nightlux may join us later, but for now, his crew member spot is empty.  So I suppose you can take his spot, Miroque.

A word of caution: this is my first time ever GMing this system.

I look forward to learning from you and if you were to tell me if my Rissa has any blatant screw-ups in it, I would be much appreciative.

What do you think you might do?

@PhantomPistoleer:

There is 1 force sensitive already.. but is that max you allow ? (was thinking of an padawan runaway... that would seek out that fallen (force sensitive character, and would like to make sure she will not succumb to the dark side.. being totally vulnebarle to the temptations /aka lacking of temple training and all that...but the padawan herself would be lacking of prober discipoline herself ...)

@Annamarth: I would go for mechanics 3.. as its the skill with explosioves.. otherwise looks solid.. maybe drop Pre >2 and add more talents from Sapper tree.

I see no reason why there can't be more force sensitive people.

What is our starting duty rating? And would you hate me if I named my dude Se'Ag'Cre'En'T?

Currently looking for a pic of a chiss dude that isn't just Thrawn.

Not many other chiss in the galaxy at large, during this time period.. Thrawn's reason to join the Empire was to KEEP Chiss Accendancy hidden from the empire after all...

Bag. Why do jedi get the good stuff?
Armorer gets the armor master stuff so easy compared to gadgeteer.

I've been looking and not finding anything so are there rules to swapping armor pieces? Like using sap gloves instead of armors gauntlets? Or rules on clamping wrist mount weapons over armor? Or is it just you bought it you use it?

Which good stuff are you refering to ? (Training lightsaber that does only STUN?????) Its 400cr and not even restricted item to buy... go nuts....

There is no rules for "swapping" armor bits.. just make the sap gloves being part of your armor ?,, Wrist mnissiles and otherstuff that is craftable, you need to make ingame or pay the hefty prices... (althou, 9000cr bonus money allows you to kit your armor... pretty insanely... only "must have" you miss is Optical Camo... Predator thing, as its 10000 base cost...)

ShadowFox89

What are you looking at focusing on, Hexed?

There's armor mods to have integrated weapons, I believe it's in either Special Modifications or the base book.

Would Shustihos do for “basic” piloting skills?

The system isn't complicated.  Don't overcomplicate it!  Just swap it out and try to make sure the encumbrance makes sense.
