The Iron Kingdoms have been dealt a heavy blow, but from it has been ushered a new age of shaky peace. Old rivalries have been put aside (for now, at least) in the aftermath of the claiming - an invasion from beyond the mortal world. Even so, in the world of steam power and gunpowder, of sword and sorcery, there are jobs for those bold enough to do them. Solving crimes, putting down bandits, clearing encroaching monsters, the opportunities are numerous.

I'm hoping to run a dice campaign based around Iron Kingdoms Requiem, the D&D 5e ruleset version of the setting. I was planning on having a Discord OOC which will include the rolling of dice - not the full system, perhaps, but enough to keep it exciting. The players would be (generally good) freelancers/mercenaries/adventurers with no particular main quest (at the start, at least). The focus would be on the characters and the world they live in. If you're not knowledgeable about the setting, that is fine! I'd be happy to help you figure it out!

I would like to take part, but do we have to source the sourcebook on our own or will it be provided?

I would love to play this, I use to play  the war miniature game and almost had the opportunity to play in a real time game of the non dnd version originally put out by privater press. Would this be using the Requiem one I am seeing?
