Snow White and the Dark Sorcerer (F for Dom M Elf Sorcerer, any gender writer)

My character is Snow White… but I am going with a different story, still an evil witch/stepmother, but no poison apple and no prince charming. I have a different idea in mind.

Snow White has run away from home with the assistance of servants after her monster of stepmother murders her father and casts a spell of the castle guards to place them under her control… however, not without a terrible burden… her stepmother did manage to place a death curse upon her…

When Snow White turns twenty… she will keel over dead…

Legend speaks though an ancient library up in the snow covered mountains to the north… a place long forbidden to humans… it’s keeper is a lone elven sorcerer… the legend states that this elf has eyes of pure red from dabbling too much into dark magics and as a punishment for his greed, his people condemned him to protect the ancient library holding their oldest tomes, all alone, for eternity… his most favorite place in the world would now be his prison…

It is also said that within these tomes are spells that have the capability to break any enchantment in existence…

Snow White is only a year away from death… this library and it’s guardian may be her only hope.



My idea is that when Snow White does get to the library in the mountains, she is quickly found by YC (the elven sorcerer) and enchanted by this maiden with hair black as ebony and flesh as fair as the snow outside… he strikes a deal, he will personally assist her… but in exchange, she must remain with him in the library forever.

Not wishing to die and seeing no future for herself out in the world so long as her stepmother wants her dead… Snow White will agree.
