Might have a few character ideas. I would need to narrow things down a bit first.

One idea has them a catty satirist/"journalist"/performance artist who gladly declares himself to be "kind of a bitch", but is also a lot more friendly than his "character" would leave one to believe. He's also a single dad.

Another is basically a drag queen and musician who I might play a bit more on restrained melancholy side when not performing or perhaps generally more chipper if irreverent.

The third idea I had seems nearly impossible to find refs for though as they're a muscular mma fighter turned veterinarian or therapist who happens to be as fem as the day is long.

Quite a tall order. I don't how to describe it, but when I write a character it's almost like method acting for me and despite some recurring elements such as the fact that I tend to play feminine expressing men, I like to give them their own flair.

For example the satirical performance artist kind of has their own "character" that they act as meant to be a parody/commentary on tabloid journalists and professional gossips who acts like lets say an utterly caustic Perez Hilton and idolizes artists across various mediums who have made commentary on sensationalistic media, celebrity, and other such things, but this basically a character for him. While some of that sarcastic biting wit and general "cattyness" is genuine, if you actually know him, he's a far kinder person than one might imagine.

As for the general drag queen ideas...Well one version has them as the owner of this rock n roll cabaret/burlesque thing where they themselves perform and is generally caught between a deep love of the campy performance they do and a desire to be treated as a serious musician. Another one is bit more restrained and performs as a singer in a 20s speak easy themed BDSM club. The third version is sort of based on this idea I had for a drag persona if I ever decided to do something like that which is that they are a metal queen. If most lip sync to stuff by Cher, Madonna, and other similar Divas, they lip sync to Tarja era Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, Evanescence, In this Moment, and similar artists. Because dammit I'm a fem sub who likes to here angelic vocals belted out over heavy guitars and getting in the pit. They also have actual musical skill, but similar to the first variant kind of the first version, they're torn between a love of the craft and the desire to be taken seriously by the broader set of musicians.

As for the MMA fighter turned therapist or veterinarian (haven't made up my mind), they're kind of based off an older character idea I had that was pretty much the same, except they were born in Russia shortly after the fall of the Soviet Union who became a prominent MMA fighter who specialized in clinching. While they still lover martial arts they're somewhat disenchanted with the atmosphere of toxic masculinity surrounding a lot of MMA circles and also have this deep desire to nurture others in some way. They also hated how it made people mostly only see him for his more masculine traits and interests, seemingly ignoring that he leans hard at the fem end of the gender expression spectrum otherwise.

These are all character sketches I've had running around my skull, presented here in their most bare bones form, i just worry about biting off more than I can chew if I play all three. I also I don't want to throw in too many cis straight guys in if that's gonna throw the whole vibe off for people (though funnily enough I am in my current living situation, the token cis straight guy of the three people who live in my apartment.).

Lux, I play Gemma in the game who is a former drag queen and burlesque performer,  She is the owner of the Pulse nightclub, but I believe there is an opening for the owner of Kings and Queens which is a bar/establishment that does host drag shows amongst other performances.  I'd be happy to work with you on some connections with that character idea, maybe former and continuing friendly rivals or something like that.  PM me if interested, thanks and good luck with all of those great possibilities.

All sound like fun. All I would say is that we are filled up on therapists right now. A vet is still an option if you did make the ex-MMA fighter, though.

Bio: Born in New York City in a middle class Chinese-American family Jocelyn has always been a lively and outgoing girl, always getting into trouble.
