Hopefully going to try and kick this off again and gain more interest this time around :)

And one day... It just happened...

People just changed.  It was like a lycanthropy novel gone wrong.  Not to say everyone became wolves, some were mice, some horses, a fox here and there.  If it was an animal, a human became part of one.  At least that's what happened to about two thirds of the population, the remaining third remained human.  Life as we knew it was different.  No one felt different, besides the fact that they were now Anthro of an animal.  Some doctors attested it to an unknown disease, others said a more primal side of the human brain began to take part,  what ever caused it however wasn't over.  2 years since "The Happening" passed and the world seemed to adapt like it always did.  Besides the small sects of hate groups, not unlike the current ages, life started back up like nothing happened.

That was until the shadows appeared.  It wasn't until the 3rd year, that the eerie mist settled in across the earth.  No one really took notice of it until it happened, until what historians will call "The Dark Fall" happened.  From the fog came other worldly monstrosities.  Demons only from fairy tales, began to materialize and wreak havoc on the world.  Instantly half the population fell to the darkness.  That was 3 years ago.  The world has since plummeted into a chaotic apocalyptical wasteland filled with humans, anthros, and demons.  For the humans, fear of monsters and anthros alike, let alone cannibalistic humans threatens your every turn.  for the anthros, the demons seem to favor your flesh the most, yet humans still hate you, blame you for all of this.  Some of your own kind sell you out, while others fear the worse.

Can your group survive and find out what in the literal hell is going on?

Welcome to Furry-Ocalypse, a freeform group rp via Discord. I'd prefer this be on Discord, however if there is enough interest, the forum threads will also work.

I do have a few concepts that are not make or break to add to this story line.

One such concept is that my character has remained human, while his fiance has changed into something.  For fear of rejection and or fear of hurting him, she runs leaving a note. (Contents of the note can be discussed later)

Another idea is that my character stays human. While his daughter has taken on the form of an Anthro. what kind of difficulties will they overcome? There is the possibility of this being incestual.

I'd like for this to have a mix of about 7 members, myself included.  Mix meaning male/female/other ratio as well as anthro /  human ratio.

Feel free to ask questions here and if i get enough interest ill post up a Character sheet!

Thanks all!

“The Doctor: This is bad, I don't like this. [kicks console and yells in pain] Never use force, you just embarrass yourself. Unless you're cross, in which case... always use force!
Amy: Shall I run and get the manual?
The Doctor: I threw it in a supernova.
Amy: You threw the manual in a supernova? Why?
The Doctor: Because I disagreed with it! Now stop talking to me when I'm cross!”

Player Name: c0i9z
Character Name: Anthony Vales
Character Age: 25
Race: Rabbit
Small Bio: Anthony had been in his third year if his engineering degree when the event started happening. And well on his way into getting it in his fourth as well, a rare feat to be sure. He had heard the rumours of people changing, of course, strange happenings, becoming animals or... animal-like? He didn't think much on it. Even when he started growing some extra hair, he only took it as some sort of late-onset of puberty. At least, at first. But soon, as it spread, it became clear that he was becoming part of a growing minority, soon a growing majority of people who had become victim to some sort of strange... condition. But even then, as confusing as it all was, society still existed. People needed to be fed, things needed to be made and he had an education to finish! Especially since the doctors said that there was basically nothing wrong with the new animal-like people. Health-wise, at least. And so, he did continue and he did manage to make his four years, by the skin of his teeth. He had even managed to get a decent entry level job just out of college. Sure, there was still a bit of confusion, but even the human purist had mostly calmed down once it became clear how much of a minority they really were. Overall, it seemed like Anthony would be able to come to terms with this new world and his new, furrier self. That was, until the fall came.

Anthony had stayed late that night, working on a crucial piece of some project or other. He never noticed the fog, but he certainly did notice the blaring alarms. He didn't know what they were or why they were there, but he did know that he didn't feel safe in the open. But he did know where he would feel safe. His company had a machine shop, mostly used for prototyping. It was small, but well stocked and, more importantly, thanks to all the expensive equipment it contained, had very strong doors, with very good locks. Lock to which he just happened to have the key. He went straight for them, slamming the door shut behind him just as the electricity failed.

The banging went on all night, and for quite a bit of the next day, but the doors held easily. Leave it to an engineering firm to set up some good construction. Once everything seemed to have calmed, he took careful inventory of the resources he had available, then an even more careful look outside. Nothing. Worse than nothing, an eery calm now surrounded the building, as well as the buildings nearby.

Anthony never saw any of his coworkers again. But he did remain in the building, taking up residence in the machine shop, trading maintenance and repair to those who would come in exchange for food and necessary supplies. The number of people who have come his way have slowed, however, and he has started to think that it might soon be time to leave his place of safety and brave the outside world.

Gear: A change of clothes and a well-stocked toolbox
Weapons: Nothing specifically, but a solid hit with a good spanner can certainly leave a mark.
Skills: Mechanics, electrics, electronics
Fears: His earlier experience, spending the last few years inside, and perhaps a burrowing instinct have given him a touch of agoraphobia. And he's not particularly comfortable with weapons either.
Connections: ???

Thanks! Hope this one will work better. Oh, and one of your links has gone bad.

Hey there! Love that this game is getting up and running again and hate that I have no time to join. Hopefully in the future!
