He was in Greece for family business and she was on holiday. Fate brought them together as they walked past each other, her eyes smile and scent caught his attention, that feeling of destiny stuck him. While in Greece, he and his father are attacked ending up in the father's death and his injury, while laying bleeding he sees her face like an angel coming for him.

He becomes obsessed with her, having portraits commissioned to hang in his home and his people search for her through the world for years, while he runs the family business. After a couple of years of longing she is on another holiday for a friend's birthday in his home town in Italy. He sees her with her friends while he drives past her. His people search and find out where she is staying, he follows her walking back to her hotel causing her to hurry away from him, just to be cornered by his people and abducted.

Waking up in his mansion she sneaks through the hallways to happen upon her portrait and he surprises her, she collapses into his arms. He wants her to fall in love with him and gives her a timeframe before he will think about letting her free. He wants her to fall in love in her own time and not out of fear, promising to be gentle and slow, though he not used to not getting what he wants.

Can she fall in love with this handsome domineering business man in the way he wants?
