The Battle of Epping Forest may suffer from a bit too many strophes, too much lyrics - but I wouldn't want to be without any of it, and Peter Gabriel's ability to voice all these quirky characters around his East End gangland tale can only be marveled at. I would have loved to see them performing it live... :)

(I just noticed there is a rare live video of it on Youtube - the picture is very dark and murky, but it does show that Genesis were able to pull off this amazingly complex song live in concert)
