I think CSO (Chief Science Officer is the usual shorthand, if that's what you meant by COS) would be your best bet, since other players (see above) have expressed interest in CEO and CMO.
I meant Chief of Security... But COS or CSO are both cool. Actually, yea I think I'll go with CSO.
I DO NOT CARE ABOUT OOC GENDER!!! NONE OF MY IDEA THREADS ARE FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVE!!!

Positive, go ahead, start working on your Vulcan. :) There are dozens of other species that will be fun to write - I'm surprised we have no Klingons so far o.O - I will pick one. :)

Half Human or half Romulan doesn't make the Vulcans any more 'horny,' see Spock and T'Pol, respectively. But sure one disorder can be tolerated. I will give up the Vulcan concept happily, trippingsatyr, it's not important to me. As I see the frequency of the 'exotic' species pop out, I may as well go with a Human doctor to weight things out (and be completely happy with it at the same time). :)

No, it doesn't make them more horny, but it makes them more emotional. Spock behaves (initially) like a pure Vulcan because he chose to. And T'Pol is full Vulcan, afaik. Yup, she was full, though a possible fifth season story had her father being a Romulan spy posing as a Vulcan, but it was never done, so she's full Vulcan.

I'll have to make a list with what's taken; but we would have Security, Science, Engineering, Operations, Medical, and I guess Intelligence, Diplomatic and Commercial services. All departments can have a chief and an assistant chief, as well as multiple subordinate members. Civilians are also welcome.

K, cool.

I will have to think what department I want her to work in.  I was thinking maybe she works in Security or Tactical Officer.  Or Enginerring.  Not sure, will have a think on it.

In the fifth season of Enterprise (that was never created) the writers "hoped" to write her father to be Romulan, which would explain her whole-life "vulnerability" to emotions, so it's not carved in stone, I know, guilty as charged.

lol If I may quote General Martok, then "Klingons are excellent warriors, but they make terrible doctors." And I doubt I'd write a believable Klingon anyway. ;)

Heh, you might want to read my whole post, there. :P I said that. :P

A klingon doctor would be hilarious.  When they ask you to drop your pants, you ask how low.

Max

Do we all have to be Star Fleet?  I had an idea for a Human trader, captain of a small freighter, just out of Earth.
"Are you into whips and chains too?"
"No, chainsaws."  (just kidding)

LadySky

Ok I adore Star Trek and was practically raised to believe it was real so I must ask to be a part of this holy endeavor!

I think I would like to play a rare species in a civilian setting, like Guinan. If I am welcome I will start thinking of a character.....
I dreamed a dreamed, life has killed the dream I dreamed. So....I dream a NEW DREAM!!! never let them see you cry.

Doktor Sleepless

Max: Civilians welcome, of course.

LadySky: Yeah, of course. Join in.

Doktor Sleepless

No dice, as such. But do you want a character bio profile? I can come up with something.

Paladin

I think I'm going to play the Captian of a Starfleet ship in for routine maintinance and downtime.

That works. If I have time tonight I'll write up my character bio and a template for others to use.

LadySky

What is everyones opinion on a Klingon Female whose family was Disavowed when she was a small child. I need a reason she would be on a Starfleet Spacestation other than being Federation. Does this station have a bar like DS9?

Elven Sex Goddess

Ok I have been keeping tabs.  I have rotated through being a Orion, Orion-Romulan, Orion-Klingon.   Still have yet to decide.

Also we are on the border of Orion Syndicate.

I'd imagine it would. Considering even starships had lounges (eg. Ten Forward), and a Space Station is much, much larger than a starship.

LS, the station has several bars, restaurants, shops, etc, as it's a starbase, much larger than DS9. I like your idea; but she can be in Federation space without being Starfleet, as the Federation and the Klingon Empire have been allies for over 70 years by the time we play, barring the short period of conflict right before the Dominion War.

Asherah: Yes, close to Orion space.

Paladin

I'm thinking about a Human Mix or just pure Human. But if I was a Human mix what would you recamend?
