So I've been inputting characters today.

So rather than pick one person to not go on the journey.  I'm just gonna go with six characters and adjust encounters accordingly. I've been looking into it.  A bit more work for me but if I wanted "easy"  I'd have gone to med school.

You six are in.

Backgrounds to be fleshed out for some of you but we might be starting as early as Wednesday  this week and you'll be killing things and taking their stuff by Friday.

Sheet for Ranna Walstad
HeroForge Link

Background:
Ranna was born in the Lands of the Linnorm kings and grew up a happy spratling till she was seven. Her family was one of several heading to the Realm of the Mammoth Lords in a large caravan that sought an alliance with a large Kellid following. While the trip was rough and long lasting it took an attack by Irrisen forces and a betrayal by the Kellid they sought out to shatter the caravan and leave young Ranna an only survivor. She was found and taken in by the shaman of a small tribe, the woman raising her as her own child and taught her to focus the rage growing within instead of letting it burn her out. For many years she traveled with her new kin learning but eventually it wasn't enough. Recognizing her growing wanderlust her mother sent her not to the land of her blood kin but south with a list of creatures taken from the tales of wandering bards and from spirit granted visions. Despite the closeness of some of the beasts on the list her mother and aunt both insisted she deal with them in a certain order and thus a confused but excited Ranna said her goodbyes and set out southwards across the vast stretches of Varisia to Magnimar seeking information on several beasts within the area.

Personality: Superstitious, primitive, and aggressive. A child of the tribes and the viking like ulfen she keeps both family traditions in mind at all times. She's quick to battle, quick to drink, and if she can help it will never touch a book. She knows of magic and is comfortable around it as both her Kellid mother and aunt listened to the spirits and cast their spells.

There we have Ranna in all her spirit questing, monster thumping background. Scant as it is.
It will be interesting to see how we deal with having no true tanks in the party. With luck giant hammer in their face will serve to distract the foes from the rest of the party until the spells start flying and Hugh starts poking them with his little shiny stick.

Alright.

So we got six characters.

I'll be spending today getting the starting post up and some things organized.

Then we can start in earnest on Wednesday of this week, Thursday at the latest.

I'm still here and I'm ready to start.  :)
Always seeking 5E games.

Alright guys.  Some if not all of you have used Myth-Weavers which is a solid resource.  All six of you have been approved so you can copy the codes below and just post your characters in the Approved Character Sheet Thread.  I'm still getting things set up for tomorrow BUT...you can at least get your characters into the approved thread and such.  :)

About that; I could actually swap over to paladin or fighter, even; the bard's a little wibbly-wobbly, and I'm flexible :-)

(And yes, I can hear Pantom grumbling in the back; stoppat!)

You hear a loud voice roll across the countryside...

"STICK WITH WHAT YOU MADE SIR!"

What if I were to involve heroforge?  O8) or a sultry Waluigi? HMMMMM?

Hexed

Nupe! Keep da bard. We just have to kill faster!

And honestly a team not built perfectly to complement each other makes far more sense roleplay wise more then the usual group builds that cover everything.

Am sad I missed this. Would love to try this campaign again.

If we get some writer/player attrition, I'll post up here and let people know.  :)

Also if things go smoothly...ish.  I might start up a second run at this and put a second group through simul-cast like.  :D
