In the year 2021 the world of fantasy grows and shifts as the minds of mortals reinterpret the classics of yore, be it through the vast resources of a media conglomerate or one solitary soul writing anonymously late at night. But what is yet unknown to those in the self-proclaimed real world is that those realms exist and they feel the power of imagination. One such place is Oz, a kingdom of marvels and wonders. Another is Wonderland, where they are all quite mad. In recent years the inhabitants have begun developing an awareness of each other. Now the barriers are weakened to the extent that inhabitants have begun crossing over. Alas whimsy and insanity do not always mix. Thus two of the greatest realms in fantasy find themselves at odds and on the verge of…

Inspired by the 80’s comic book starring the greatest super-team ever, Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew, the concept seeks to explore a conflict between Oz and Wonderland. A bit on the background…

  • The lands have been influenced by various adaptations. As such they resemble the modern world rather than the eras of their creation. Ozites are more mature rather than flighty and fanciful. Wonderlanders are darker, although not expressly evil, and Looking-Glass Country has been incorporated into it

  • At first there will be some friction rather than open conflict. This will allow characters to meet and interact. Eventually the Wonderlanders will be the aggressors because they’re ruled by a bunch of lunatics. How we get there depends on the writers.

  • Because the characters are fantastic beings that have enchanted the minds of millions, they can not truly die. Being injured, imprisoned, terribly inconvenienced by having their heads chopped off but not die.

  • Writers can have two characters, one for each side. Ozite villains are allowed, even if their loyalty is to their own agenda rather than their homeland. As both properties have had numerous adaptations, there’s a lot of flexibility in how a character is interpreted. Everyone will be 18 and up.

  • This will be a freeform sandbox. The overall theme is the conflict between Oz and Wonderland but how we get there and what happens will be decided by the writers working together. Plus some world building with how the lands look in a modern setting.

Just an interest check for now, feel free to hit me with any questions.

Would you allow this to incorporate characters from Wicked and/or Zeniscope's Warlord of Oz or Wonderland?

I'll do whatever pleases but I'll bleed 'em in the end.

If they're from Oz or Wonderland then any interpretation whether original or inspired by something is allowed as long as the character is at least eighteen (as is any image depicting said character so be careful with the artwork).

This definitely has my interest then. I would be open to play most any character on either side.
