So Foxy, what do you think of my ideas for a possible connection with "Evelyn?" :D
Vergil's Faceclaim Archive; For All Your Character Model Seeking Needs!

Men in general judge more by the sense of sight than by that of touch, because everyone can see but few can test by feeling. Everyone sees what you seem to be, few know what you really are; and those few do not dare take a stand against the general opinion. Therefore it is unnecessary to have all the qualities I have enumerated, but it is very necessary to appear to have them. And I shall dare to say this also, that to have them and always observe them is injurious, and that to appear to have them is useful; to appear merciful, faithful, humane, religious, upright, and be so, but with a mind so framed that should you require not to be so, you may be able and know how to change to the opposite.

Sounds good! Fingers crossed we get a few more characters. I'm hoping to fire things up next weekend as a Memorial Day festival seems like a good way to get everyone to mingle, if there's enough peeps.

Vergil Tanner

Was there any particular route that caught your eye? They've both been in town for a few years, so they've likely crossed paths before, right? So would Evelyn be hostile, friendly, or a mixture of both? :D

And I know that Mael is making a character, and I'm hoping to corral somebody else in soon too xD So that's at least one, MAYBE two more characters on their way!

That sort of thing can be plotted out elsewhere, like maybe an OOC if it happens or PMs. That way this doesn't keep getting bumped when it's just a back and forth conversation about character connections.

And yay for more people!

Mael

Name: Joanna Colette Dyrmishi
Nicknames: Jo, Colette
Occupation: Dimitrius’s Personal Assistant and Bodyguard
Age: 29
Date of Birth: January 3rd
Place of Birth: Berat, Albania | {raised in} Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Nationality: Albanian
Gender: Female
Orientation: Pansexual

Appearance:
Joanna stands at a whopping 5’5” when she’s not in heels, with fair skin and curves for days. Her hair is typically kept in a state of dirty blonde, partially curled in a purposeful way and long enough that when straightened it can grace the top curve of her ass. Her eyes – constantly shifting around and observant – are crystalline blue and often impeccably lined. She is fully aware that she can turn heads while walking in the street, but rarely flaunts her figure unless to her advantage. The curvaceous form she possesses is often outfitted in tight clothing, which is purely for her comfort at the end of the day, and rather misleading. Many may look upon her for her pretty face, banging curves, and assume nothing more. However – Joanna’s body has a soft exterior that’s only skin deep, her form padded with muscles and sure strength that was honed from years of practice and work on her own time. Very rarely does Joanna allow herself look anything but put together and professional, and if she does? It’s often behind closed doors where the audience is limited to one.

Personality:
Joanna is a highly organized individual who prefers things going according to plan and being as prepared as possible. She delves out respect to those who are worthy of it and expects a similar treatment in return. Highly observant and intellectual, she can often read a room perfectly the moment that she steps into it and adjust accordingly. She has a tough exterior and is often a hard nut to crack, but once she’s let someone in, she’s incredibly protective of those closest to her. Beneath that hard exterior, she’s witty and dependable, enjoys a good time and occasionally likes to let loose – but only around those she could trust. Her charming personality has a way of making others open up to her, and her loyalty is unfailing.

Backstory:
Joanna Colette Dyrmishi was born in Berat, Albania. Her family relocated to the United States of America before she turned one, pulling her from her native soil and leaving her with only fabricated memories formed from told stories and photographs, along with the speaking of her native tongue often in her childhood home. Her mother had been a kind, but strict woman, and her father had simply been strict. It took Joanna years to discover why her family had to flee Albania, and her disgruntled relations with her father only seemed to simmer from that point on. His lack of proper judgment and his greed had forced them from their home and into what Joanna saw as the harsh streets of Baton Rouge. Growing up there had been a hardship, with the young female feeling isolated and often trapped in a place that was unfamiliar once she stepped outside of her front door. It took her youth from her as the young woman blossomed and matured far faster than any child should, often faced with decisions no young girl should have to make at such a youthful age. It also did not help that her mother had been keeping a secret from her father and their new ties – and Joanna herself – for most of her life. Her mother was not a normal woman; she was a Pasqyrë, a mirror woman. And her secret had been passed down to her only daughter, her omission of her abilities often keeping Joanna in the dark of her own abilities and what others proceeded to notice about her later in her life.

Joanna grew up with her familial ties in an Albanian mafia group known as the Osmani residing along the outskirts of New Orleans. They had once been set up in Baton Rouge, but moved their organization towards the coast for easier trading opportunities. Before the war had broken out, life had been pretty easy. With her father being a sub-boss to the leader himself, Joanna was readily welcomed among the higher echelon of those in the group. She was trained in self-defense at a young age, spoiled with a wealthy lifestyle, and learned from the best. Her observation skills and awareness were noted at a young age, and it didn’t take long before Joanna was climbing the ranks herself and becoming a trusted ally to sub-bosses throughout the Osmani. It was her observation skills and her higher-ranking position that led her to realize that something was happening amongst the Osmani –a rift that would surely set the mafia group on a path to destruction. Her intelligence had placed her just a few steps ahead of the rest of them, and by the time others were realizing the leaks of information and the loss of clientele, it was almost too late.

The Osmani, however, weren’t going to go down without a fight. The heir to the Osmani – a prick named Jacob – had realized just how much Joanna knew. He had also discovered that, in Joanna’s presence, his abilities and the powers of those around them had been stronger. If she touched him, he could feel himself amplified. She wasn’t to be touched. He found her to be a valuable asset and wanted to bring her into the inner ring, for protection. Joanna had believed her skills led him to want her there to protect himself, as she had foolishly believed that others could not detect her power. A fool she truly had been. Her ignorance would come with a cost: a cost that involved her being bound to Jacob in all ways. He wanted her, at most physically, but also wanted her information and amplification. He wanted to control her as he controlled everything else. He wanted her to bring him heirs for the future of the Osmani. He wanted her on a pedestal; he wanted her in a gilded cage. The position would strip her of independence and her current livelihood. While some would have jumped at the opportunity for security, wealth, and prominent ties, Joanna did not.

Stupidly, she’d angered the spoiled heir and put a target on her own back. She had never been in the habit of letting petty men who were too selfish get the best of her. Maybe she should’ve thought before she had spoken? Maybe she should have reigned in her temper just a little? Maybe she hadn’t done anything wrong. Maybe he should have been smarter. He probably shouldn’t have asked her to be his in front of his closest friends, but he was cocky. So when she turned him down – and laughed at the notion of her producing any kind of heir for anyone – she knew she had made a mistake. Just a few hours later, a hit was on her for being a spy for the Maranzano group – a direct rival mafia group to the Osmani. This was something she never would have done, her loyalty lying solely with her family, and it stung to have such an integral part of her distrusted. It stung more to know that she would never be able to return to the Osmani ever again.

In her time of running around New Orleans, those close to her came to her aid: a brother, a father, a best friend. And they all fell in order to protect her from the corruption of their own family. Just when Joanna thought that her training had been for naught, that her life was going to end because of someone’s lie, she was saved. She was saved by none other than the leader of the very mafia she’d been accused of spying for: Dimitrius Maranzano. He saved her life; he gave her a free ticket out of the city so she could start anew. The Osmani were no more. They’d been felled in a war they never had a chance of winning. Joanna had no one she considered family any more. Joanna had no where to go and a secret that weighed heavily upon her just in the way it had weighed upon her mother. She could trust no one. She could depend upon no one but herself. For the first time in her life – despite how often she had dreamed of it – Joanna was on her own.

Joanna packed her bags and drained her bank account. She’d been fully prepared to not look a gift horse in the mouth – but something stopped her. An urgent feeling to pay back what she owed to Dimitrius. A hesitation that surprised her with its intensity. Her sense of loyalty and righteousness reared its ugly head and could not be ignored. He had saved her very life, spared her, despite being from a rival mafia family. And if he refused her offer of returning his favor somehow, then she would leave. She had to at least offer something for him in return, to right the debt owed before she disappeared to whatever life had planned for her. As it turned out, life had no intention of letting her leave New Orleans. Joanna ended up saving Dimitrius’ life that day, by being in the right place at the right time. And, of course, being skilled enough to stop someone from taking him out. They were even – a life for a life – but really, their story had only just begun. From Osmani to Maranzano, Joanna found her true place beside Dimitrius in the heart of New Orleans.

Skills:
+ Fluent in Albanian, French, and English
+ Trained in hand-to-hand combat, knife wielding, and weaponry
+ Possesses quick reflexes and impressive flexibility

Powers: In her native tongue, Joanna is referred to as ‘Pasqyrë’ – or a Mirror. She has the ability to amplify the powers of those in her proximity and can utilize physical contact to bolster her ability to even greater heights. She has her limitations, of course, where using her power in an active way can drain her energy over long periods of time. However, if relaxed enough, Joanna’s power is passive to the point of practically being unnoticeable. After years of practice, she has harnessed the ability to control her mirroring so she can choose to block herself from amplifying those around her.

Weakness:
+ Mortal
+ Intolerance for liars
+ Short fuse for those who only take her at face value
+ Impatience for those who make continuous mistakes
+ Loses focus with intense disorganization

Likes: Daddy. Dancing. Vodka. Relaxation. Baths. Being pampered. Witty conversation. Travel. Flowers. Yoga. Trying new foods. Swimming.
Dislikes: Disorganization. Betrayal. Insects. Rudeness. Heat. Being talked down to. Excessive foul language. Being underestimated. Children.

Ons: BDSM. D/s. Roughness. Dirty talk. Intimacy. Aftercare. Choking. Spanking. Roleplay. Lingerie. Hair-pulling. Being manhandled. Praise. Reciprocation.
Offs: The Nasty Stuff [gore, bathroom play, snuff]. Humiliation. Competition. Being made to do all of the work.

Ready for some fun villainy in the Burbs
Name: Eleanor Walsh (Nickname: Ellie)
Alias: Orisha
Occupation: Day Job, Analyst/ Intellegence Researcher for a Gov. Agency
Age: 35
Nationality: American
Gender: Female
Orientation: Demi-sexual

Appearance: Ellie has a smooth golden brown complexion free of blemishes. She does have five scars, three on her right leg and two on her right lower arm. She has small dark brown eyes, a small nose, and dark brown hair.

Personality: Ellie has a tough persona; she prefers to be closed-off, guarded, but for a good reason, as she's been 'burned' before. Ellie is very loyal to those she trusts; even when she starts to lose a bit of trust, she'll try and remain loyal--which may be part of the reason she's been hurt in the past.  She is assertive and built with pluckiness, which comes in handy for a villain. At times she can present as pompous despite having a humble background; Ellie pretends to know more than she knows but is terrible at faking such a feat--it can be pretty obvious, so she is also seen as daft when it comes to those details she does not know. Yet, she can bring the charm when it's called for and will try to sound as close to agreeable as she can without agreeing (when it comes to something she doesn't agree with). She has manners as her father raised her to be respectful, so she will show respect to all walks of life--except those she deems unworthy or scumbags.

Backstory: Ellie was raised by her father, Iyapo, from Lagos, Nigeria. Her father immigrated to America in his early 20's and met Ellie's mother, Evelyn Walsh. However, Evelyn gave Ellie up as her family disapproved of her having a child with Iyapo. Iyapo then went and married Maria, a Latina woman. Ellie has a younger brother named Eduardo, who is three years younger than her.

As a child, she grew up with her father, stepmother, and half-brother in a working-class neighborhood. Iyabo was a car mechanic, and her mother worked as a daycare cook.

Ellie had a few friends and an average academic record in school--she maintained decent enough grades but did not excel in any subject. However, she enjoyed playing sports and was on the basketball team in middle school and high school. Eleanor also took Karate as a young teen when it wasn't basketball season. Her basketball team won multiple championships in the city each year she was on the team. Eleanor was going to go to university on a basketball scholarship but was involved in a car accident that Spring before graduating. Due to the injuries sustained, she postponed her scholarship, six months, and then another six months, and then inevitably as she could no longer play as well as she used to.

So she wound up going to community college to get an Associates' Degree and then went on to get a job as a secretary job in the government--eventually moving up to working at an intelligence agency.  She has a close friend at her job named Stan, a field agent with whom she gets along most of the time. Though she works as an analyst and researcher, they enjoyed the same author and found much more common. Stan invites her over weekly to eat dinner with his husband, Arnold.

When Ellie was 25 years old, she was exposed to a nuclear substance at a scientific lab--her and four others. She wound up in the hospital for a month... half a year later, she discovered that static electricity would manifest in large amounts from her fingers. She also found that when angry and waving her hands one evening, she'd create a gust of wind that destroyed her plant collection in her living room--knocked over all twenty-seven plants with the wind she made.

Over the years, she's secretly developed her powers, and it wasn't until she was 30 did she try to use them against a criminal that was threatening to rob her with a knife held out against her. Since then, she became a vigilante, but it wasn't until she was 31 that she became a full-fledge villain and began to kill those who slipped through the cracks at the agency. She also began to use the information at her job to steal drugs, money, and weapons to get rich and powerful. While she doesn't have a lair and henchmen, she lays low to maintain her duplicity with ease.

Skills:
-Computer Smarts: She knows her way around a computer and can use it to find information about people with the help of Uncle Sam.
-Karate: Trained as a teen and young adult.
-Decent Shot: She knows her way around different types of guns and is a decent shot at close enough distance.

Powers:
-Weather Manipulation/Generation: Eleanor can sense, create, shape, and manipulate weather, i.e., the meteorological patterns, producing rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, sleet, fog, and temperature changes. Eleanor can generate various natural phenomena and control the intensity of the weather in a certain sized area (e.g. a football field).

Special Equipment:
-Hidden room in her home with weapons, cash, computers, disguises, costumes, jewelry, and gold.

Weakness:
-Human Emotions: her emotions can cause her powers to become unstable or not work, so she has to stay hyper-focused and calm.
-Human Physicality: While she knows Karate, she can be trounced by someone who has superhuman strength or is naturally stronger than humans when unable to use her powers or defeated by other humans more trained than her in martial arts.
-Limited Time Use: Can only use her powers in bouts of ten-minute increments each hour. So she has to make quick use of time, or she's screwed.

Nemesis:
-TBD

Likes: Weed, alcohol, music, swearing, black cats, video games, dancing, comedy movies, noodles, action movies, gardens, the perfect thin crust pizza.

Dislikes: Seafood, romance movies, sad movies, needles, swords, twinkies, peas, mazes, birds, disrespect, snow, hot weather.

B=Both, R=Recieving, G=Giving
Ons: Spanking (B) - hands, whip, flogger, paddle | Bondange (B) - rope, tape, silk, scarfs, handcuffs | Humiliation (B) | Collars/Leashes (B) | Hidden Public Sex (B) | Anal (G) - strap on | Forced Orgasms/ Orgasm Control (B) | Remote Control Toys/Public Play (B) | Toys (B) - gags, blindfolds, clamps, vibrators, dildos | Oral Sex (B) | Hand Jobs (G) | Vaginal Sex (B -strap on for giving) | Massage (B) | Dirty Talk (B) | Hair-Pulling (B) | and more, ask away!

Yeah, and besides, I imagine she goes after "easy" targets.

That way, the G-men think it's crime on crime and not an inside job.

Also, The Raven sounds like a tough job to even attempt.

Why do I have the feeling Blaine would have been bamboozled into the neighborhood watch by some well-meaning old biddy 8-)
