The Plot

Welcome to Earth 326, where Metropolis' favorite son has vanished. Meanwhile, in Gotham City, villainy is at its peak. While The Batman uses every tool in his arsenal to tackle the Joker and his latest murderous schemes, small-time criminals use this opportunity to climb the ladder, each rung they achieve causing mayhem throughout the city.

New metahumans continue to discover their powers each and every day- some of them have tried making a difference in their community by turning to vigilante justice, while some have taken advantage of society and turned their powers into forces of destruction

This is where you come in. In Age of Heroes, your destiny lies in your choice to become an ally of justice or any agent of chaos. You also have the choice to create an original character or apply for a CANON character from the DC Universe. To learn more about the game CLICK HERE!

It's pretty slow-moving and exceedingly open world but we actively encourage people to come and play. Just be prepared to figure out whatcha wanna do with your character from the beginning as Ell is absent a lot so we make our own fun.

I am also interested in this but there seems to be a lot built into it already.  Are there niches to be filled or things that might be useful or wanted?  How much has already been established that I would need to read or know?

For the most part, Ellipses did a LOT of work on the setting and how we'll level characters during play. All of that has been linked to the Character Sheet thread.  Most of what we have been doing as players is simply setting scenes with one another and interacting. It was my hope that Ell would eventually have some GM run events but alas not yet. As for niches that need filling? We had a Batman but lost him...we have an overabundance of heroes when contrasted to our villains and I would happily murder for a Joker/Batman. No real connections have been established because the world is so large and we've lost players due to attrition. I will also hop over on discord and send Ellipses this way. He may have a different answer than me.

Thanks, Wolfling!  I generally prefer heroes over villains, but it that's what we need, I could work something.  Maybe a would-be hero whose debut went wrong somehow, so he's had to become a villain/outlaw?  I'd probably want him to have some villainous partner or ally he felt some loyalty to...but that's further down the road.

Sadly, you mentioned two of the characters I would least like to play.  Unpopular opinion, and I understand if I am asked to leave, but Batman and the Joker are so overused and boring to me.  Now Nightwing...  Anyway, I'll think of a possible idea or two and wait to see if there's any other word here.

Canon wise--Nightwing was responsible for training Thunder (Anissa Pierce, Black Lightning's eldest daughter) so it would be awesome to have him around...

Anyway, I did a canon (Thunder) and a non-canon (My villain who is more an anti hero and less...villainous) Most of our villains are non canon...*nods muchly* I did message Elli but his work hours are sooo all over the place that I never know when we'll see him.

He was!  I read a good bit of that Outsiders run, so I am familiar with Anissa.  I'll think on it but will consider a villain character first and maybe if I ever get enough space in my brain, I could do a second character and that could be Nightwing.  I love Dick!  ...Grayson.
