How do I make my theme choice stick?

I've selected the October theme several time and it seems to be fine for a few hours but then reverts back to the basic theme. This is in Chrome 87.0.4280.141, the current version as far as I'm aware.
Is there some setting I'm not aware of I should be changing?

Hello there! I also use the October theme and if I remember correctly:

Go to profile ► Go to Modify Profile ► The hit Look and Layout ► Go to the current theme and just change it.

It should be rou_october. See if that works and if not, I'll see if I can come up with a better option. ^^

Thank you very much, that seems to do the trick! I was using the buttons under the shout box before, those don't seem to be very reliable but I think your tip solved it!
