Nah, I'm not familiar with Falcon, unless you mean the Millennium Falcon, or Captain Falcon from F-Zero. I found the picture as part of a gallery of cyberpunky-girl pictures and went from there.

One thing I like about the pic that felt Star Warsy to me is she's facially a bit similar to Natalie Portman (although my char has no connection to Padme/Amidala, so it's just an amusing coincidence. Maybe Engela gets asked to do in-universe Padme/Amidala cosplay routines as one of her dancing acts?). 

The name is intended as a Star Wars esque unsubtle symbolism name (e.g. Skywalker = travels the stars, Han Solo = handy, solo, Vader = invader, Sidious = insidious, etc.), Engela = engineered angel, Valk = valkyrie (winged warrior women ferrying fallen warriors). It also occurred to me while writing that it's a bit like Mercy from Overwatch (metal winged angel healer). I've never played OW but it's impossible to avoid learning some of its chars if you surf sites like deviantart, there is so much OW fanart.

Also I recently played Immortals Fenyx Rising (terrible name, but great game) which has an Icarus-girl like winged main char. That might've been a subconscious inspiration too. And the jetpack was consciously inspired by Boba Fett (in the sequel films we see 'jetpack troopers' so I figure Boba's is not like the only one in the galaxy, and that was what gave me the idea for the early jetpack trooper prototypes as part of her backstory).

EDIT: oh duh, you clearly meant Falcon from Marvel / Cap America. Wasn't thinking of him, but I guess her 'bird of prey wings' (the non-hummingbird wings) referred to in her equipment would be similar to his. And now that I think about it, Vulture in Spiderman Homecoming had wings with built-in rotors that are kind of like the set in her picture (although his are much larger with both the rotors and the wing flapping motion).

Interesting, I saw most of the MCU films but I dont recall whether they had the med tech angle. Haven't read any of the comics.

'belly of the beast' interestingly is one of the parts of the Joseph Campbell esque 'hero's journey' that SW typifies (such as the part of New Hope where they get sucked onto the Death Star, and the trash compactor scene specifically).

You could probably adapt what you have so far, like rather than Jedi apprentice she apprenticed to a vibroblade sport fencing master or professional bodyguard, bounty hunter, mob enforcer, mercenary company officer, electrobaton trooper drill sergeant, or some other sort of person who uses handheld weapons professionally

Lmao I do seem to recall Pine-Kirk rolling out of a green chicks bed in Star Trek 2009 which may've been a callback to the infamously insterstellary promiscuous Shatner-Kirk

If Froggy or someone does do a female Miralan they should do a Kirk easter egg like a post where npc guy in yellow tights hits on her by claiming hes a starship captain

My thought was that we were all stuck in the lower levels of Coroscant (However the damned thing is spelled) rather than free roving shipboard types. I deliberately avoided giving Shaa Raa a ship for that reason

Not all freight is interstellar.   Hyper fuel being so costly.  Would still allow for much lower level rp as the moving of supplies, coded couier packages, people with no questions asked.  Still 8f the concept  does not work than no worries or hard feelings.

Former pilot is fine, maybe with a flight ban or lost his ship? Also can double as the driver, between the automatic lanes and so on.

There will be moments at the higher levels too, the skyhooks, maybe even a Golan space station. Just no interplanetary travel or dogfights.

Also, just have to say I loved this dress of Padme'ss in EpII. Everyone knows the white ripped-away-midriff out from the Coliseum but I feel like her black choker evening gown doesn't get enough love...so elegant but makes her decolletage look amazing (plus the vaguely kinky collar) maybe cuz the scene was too short and dimly lit or the scene's dialogue went over like a lead balloon



Semi-serious RP question....I actually kinda like the idea I joked about earlier of Engela having a Queen Amidala themed striptease routine. This RP is set 'later Imperial Era' which means after the prequels (and during or just befoer the original trilogy), right? so Amidala would be long-dead (and her kids would still be a secret only Yoda and Obi-Wan knew about) but since she was a fairly famous figure (senator who spoke out, queen during the naboo invasion etc.) it's plausible someone that my character might reference, right? Sort of like if a modern day real world stripper had a Marie Antionette routine

Possibly a taboo/scandalous cosplay routine since she was a senator who was opposed to Palpatine's consolidation of power (e.g. she was on the 'losing side' ) although I suppose a streiptease 'as' her might actually seem pro-Imperial if it portrayed her like a bimbo 

And I figure the EpII coliseum scene might be a semi-famous historical event - big battle b/w Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems which a lot of clone troopers witnesses, plus the Jedi (who had some time to talk about it until getting wiped out by Order 66 in III). So maybe it's plausible that if a stripper did a dance routine parodying Padme in the coliseum (with the white outfit and fighting the alien monster etc) it would be like an in-universe reference some audience members might get.

Could just do it as part of her intro post (depending on how GM wants to start, in many RPs players sometimes use their first post to charactize their char woth a brief solo scene then move their char to the actual rp starting location l, possibly with a time jump. Like a mental flashback but in the first post. Or a flashback later or just something she mentions.
