Sisters of the Goddess:

Unhindered by the burden of time a Witch traveled across the world in search of an answer to her existence, but instead she only found pain, suffering, and lose. During her travel across the world the Witch found her purpose, to bring balance to a world of cause, to foster magic, and to return the world to the light of the true mother Goddess.  Though she had found her duty by walking across the world, the now old Witch lacked the magic of her youth and the purity of the holy Goddess who created her. With no power left and her task seeming impossible, the Witch accepted that she had failed and went to construct a temple to pray to her Goddess and try to return some of her light to the world she had created.

The Goddess heard her servant's prayers and saw how she believed even when she had lost, so she sent her daughters down to the surface to be born as infants to mothers that did not love them. One of the Goddess's daughters was abandoned at the temple the Witch had constructed to worship the her. The Witch did not understand the way of her Goddess and the Goddess knew this, so as the storms the sky cried down on the world and the light of her anger shattered the heavens the Goddess came to her loyal servant and instructed her to raise her daughters, so that they might complete her task.

With her faith renewed, the old Witch found the Goddess's daughters and raised them as her own. As they grew their abilities and strengths become more apparent to the old Witch and she knew the time was coming when they would set out to complete the task, she had been too old to complete.

Looking for:

I am looking for sisters of the Goddess, that want to take part in an epic fantasy adventure with me as we try to restore the light to the Goddess's world. Looking for three people that want more story then smut and can make short, but epic posts.

The Witch:

Some Inspiration for the Sisters:

People and Enemies of This Fantasy World:

The Broken Nuns:
This enemy worships the Fallen Goddess, the one of darkness and hell. They seek to cleanse the world in fire and darkness. The Broken Nuns control many cities and towns, even in the places they do not directly rule over the Nuns often have churches that spread their influence. Broken Nuns have the most religious power, even more than the true Goddess and are easily one of her main adversaries.
Inspiration

Underworld Creatures:
Born from the pits of hell these creatures serve only the Fallen Goddess. Unlike the Broken Nuns who seek to cleans the world most creatures of the underworld seek to transform the world into a hell of its own.
Inspiration

The Knights of men:
Nether friend nor foe these knights just seek to bring some order to the world chaos. Unfortunately, many of the ranking members have fallen under the spell of the Broken Nuns.
Inspiration

The Forest People:
Believes of the true Goddess, this mix matched batch of creatures and men are one of the few people that will gladly stand by the Goddess disciples, but their numbers are few.

Name: Hanna
Age: 19
Appearance: Hanna might not be the tallest of the Goddess’s daughters, but her raven hair and piercing red eyes make her stand out never the less.
Goddess’s Gift: Strength, Hanna can left more than any man or animal and she can do it with ease.
Witch’s Gift: Gauntlets of focus, these gauntlets focus Hanna’s strength and allow her to do more than just hit things up close.
Personality: Hanna is a quite calculated leader. Her voice might not be the loudest but when she speaks people tend to listen. While all the sisters were born with the independence and determination of their mother, Hanna must have been given an extra touch of her mother’s stubbornness as she is not easy to sway from the path she has chosen. Additionally, Hanna is loyal to a fault and can be blinded to the truth that does not match her beliefs.
History: Hanna was the daughter abandoned at the door to the Goddess’s temple. Like her sister’s Hanna has no recollection of her birth mother, but she has come to see the Witch as her true mother and guardian. Most of Hanna’s life has been spent training with her sister and tending to the Goddess’s temple. With the strength the Goddess gave her, Hanna took to tending to the Goddess’s fields and her grounds. What little free time Hanna had growing up she spent swimming in the ocean next to the temple or constructing her own statues out of marble.

I'm in!

Also the first post seems to have a bit of a glitch to it?

I have an idea for a character I'd like to make. Does it make sense for one of the sisters to be a magic user? A healer specifically? I only ask because the example pictures look more like fighters.

I thought I fixed it, but for some reason it turned all my apostrophes into some weird text. I try and fix it.

There can definitely be a magic sister like you’re describing! Ever sister has a magical ability, so if you wanted yours to be healing that’s totally possible. Also if you want to share some different concepts you have feel free to.

Hello again!

The premise of the roleplay is that the sisters are striking down the hostile religion of the Broken Nuns and converting the world back to the light of the true mother Goddess. Are the people generally unhappy with the rule of the Broken Nuns? The language gives me this visual of the Nuns as strict and merciless zealots of their Goddess who rule through pain, but that's just the random musings of my brain! Is there a plan that the Sisters have? I guess I'm kind of wondering about the story path the characters might take to reach their goal.

The sisters have spent their entire life under the protection of the Witch, so they have no idea the dangers that await them or really how to fix the world. They know the stories the Witch has told them, but it has been over 19 years since she left the temple and that was only to find the Goddess's daughters, so even her stories will only be of so much help. Part of the story is choosing the right path to walk and making mistakes along the way as the daughters have truly no idea what they face. The story will start with the evil of the world finally reaching the sister at the Goddess's temple and from there it will be a journey to right the world their mother created.

As for the Broken Nuns, they are extremely strict yes, but they also teach and carry out many dark practices, such as witch burning and live sacrifices to the creatures of the underworld. Some among the Nuns openly dabble in human studies and other's in dark magic, these the daughters will no doubt see as evil without hesitation, but other Nuns will be small congregation leaders that cloak their darkness behind the guise of helping the people. Both these types of Nuns are evil but the naïve daughters of the Goddess will have to learn to fear them both the same.

Name: Calantha
Age: 19
Appearance: Calantha is possibly one of the tallest out of the sisters, her height is made even more impressive by the staff she always carries with her. Calantha is of The Forest People and her appearance shows her her ratage Calantha's skin is the colour of fresh baby moss, her hair is like the dark green of the evergreen trees and her eyes are the brightest green shinning with ancient wisdom like an emerald.
Goddess's Gift: Nature - Calantha can aid the growth of an already growing plant speeding up or slowing down their growth.
Witch's Gift: Bending Staff - With this staff Calantha can bend vines or tree branches to her will which can be handy if she ever needs anyone toeing up.
Personality: Calantha is an old soul, she seems to have knowledge of things far beyond her years. Her knowledge of plant life and the correct way a plant should be grown is astonishing. Calantha is slow to action but once action is decided she puts her whole body and mind into it and gets the job done. She loves to simply walk through the forests her feet feeling the grass beneath her, sometimes it's almost like the trees are talking with her. Loyal to her sisters and the witch who raised them.
History: Calantha was found among The Forest People, she had been wrapped in a blanket to fend of the weather and laid in the branches of a tree. Not just any tree the largest and oldest tree in any of the forests. While this was unusual in itself the fact that the tree branch that the baby had been left in had molded itself around the child making the perfect cacoon for her did not go un noticed by the witch.

Sorry I thought you were going with a healer. Happy to trade as I haven't worked out the whole profile yet?

BlueEyedBard

I was going with a nature themed healer, using plants and herbs and such.

Pepper working CS

Name: Pepper
Age: 19
Appearance: Lithe as a willow and just standing over 5'7", Pepper may appear to be one of the more delicate of the sisters, resembling something closer to a flower petal than a grand oak. But in spite of her deceptive build, Pepper is never one to bend or break under even the strongest gale and she refuses to wither as long as her sisters need her.

Pepper prefers loose, comfortable, and flowing clothing. Generally made of natural fibers, usually made herself, and if she's in a familiar place, she's almost always not wearing shoes.
Goddess' Gift: The Goddess mother gifted Pepper with her touch of life. With this magic Pepper has an uncanny ability to grow and nurture plant life of any variety, and with incredible speed
Witch's Gift: Fatimah's Scythe, despite its dangerous appearance the tool represents the harvesting of crops to nourish the body. In Pepper's hands the scythe acts more like a tool to amplify her magic, allowing her to heal wounds or restore the body and mind. Her focused energy can cleanse her opponents of anger or violence, or make it difficult for them to be deceitful. The Goddess Mother can even reach through her enough to reverse death itself, but the toll this would take on Pepper could potentially be fatal.

All the same, Pepper still finds the scythe to appear a little grim. So she hangs a wreath of flowers from the blade.

But you got there first if you want to stick with your idea.

While their goddess gift is similar, their witch gift is nothing alike so I think both might be allowed. Obviously the final decision is Yoda's

Hmm, to me it seems like they might be too similar, as they both have the basic ability to grow and control nature. They just use it differently so they aren’t exactly the same.

I could always go the animal route?

Yeah, I wouldn't be into doubling on one element anyway.

It's up to you. Like I said, you called the nature thing first, so I can withdraw mine if you want to keep it.

I don’t think so, as long as you don’t make it op. I think it would be fair to have the ability to shape shift into things the same size or smaller then YC.
