Undo Is There an Undo feature
« on: October 25, 2020, 08:34:35 am »
I have found once in a while that after putting in a post, I usually dont do it on my hard drive first, when i go to correct it with spell check it comes up as no spelling or something like that saying there is nothing to spell check (there is ) i press ok and it wipes out the entire post.
Is there an undo as I wrote some great stuff on a RP post and lost it and they are never quite as good on a rewrite
Is there someway to retrieve what was wiped
Also when I cut out a sentence to paste it elsewhere  it come out like  this and I have to go and change it in the font size.
Is it a program fault or just me not using the program setting correctly
Thank you

Not yet unfortunately.

The WYSIWYG editor is extremely dated, I tend to recommend people turn it off, at least until we upgrade.

For now, anyway, you could use Ssieth's Elliquiy Extender Script, which ahs a draft save function.  At least you wouldn't lode everything.

I just wanted to add that if you wrote in a document first, you wouldn't have to worry about losing anything at all. It's what I do every single time on this site then copy and paste it over.

Another vote for Form History Control -- both for Firefox and Chromium-based browsers.
