Hey, so I rolled up a decent stat array, aside from a 4, is it okay to just reroll the four?

Like, I've got a 15, 14, 17, 4, 9, 11.  Not super over the top or anything, and I'm perfectly happy with the nine and eleven.

I only rolled my stats twice, and hate to do a third one, 'cause that feels like reaching for the perfect set, you know?  I just...can't use a 4.

Why not dump said 4 into charisma? Your character might be a lousy talker or have an irritable quirk even if she is pretty as can be. Maybe she's hopelessly romantic, saccharine levels of sweet and naive to the point of hair pulling frustrations? I uno you could have fun with a low ability score as much as a high one. But thats just me.

Uhm...I'm making a Bard.  And a 4 is literally unacceptable.  If I can't swap it out, then I'll just use the standard array.  I'm fine with that, I just like rolling and getting the chance of something unexpected and interesting.

Yeah that's the risk of rolling. Could try to bump that 4 into a 6 via a racial bonus although that is still pretty low. Still I feel like rerolling  the 4 only wouldn't be fair either.

I am thinking on rerolling both the 4 and the 17. Or lowering the 17 to 16(or 15) while also raising the 4 to a 6(or 8)
Does any of these options sound good?

Name: Melody Santos

Backstory: Melody was left at the footsteps of a temple of Eldath, the Goddess of Peace. She knew not her parents or lineage but was raised by the guardians of the temple. She was the only foundling there as the temple was located out in the middle of nowhere, it was after all a temple of Eldath. As a child, she was loved by everyone and was curious about everything. The priesthood encouraged her curiousity and answered all her questions. As she grew, she was found to have a talent for healing and the understanding of herbs. She took to learning about these two subjects enthusiasically. When she was of age, she was inducted into the priesthood of Eldath, becoming the youngest cleric in the temple. Her studies into herbs, it’s uses and potency led her to an important discovery. She developed a technique to cultivate and refine herbs, thereby increasing their potency. However, she felt she could improve on the technique. Her seniors also felt that she lacked the experience of the outside world and that she would need that exposure to become more rounded and succeed in her journey as a priestess of Eldath. Instructed by the priesthood, Melody set off with one of the pilgrims to cilivisation where she decided to look for opportunities where her healing skills can benefit those that need them.

At the adventurer's Inn and the Hall of Overlords things can move pretty fast, especially at the inn, but for the dungeons itself a post every other day or every two days is good, twice a week is still good I'd say.

But there is always the possibility of looking for others with your same post frequency. How often would you say that you able to post?

The tough part is that it's very length dependent and highly variable. 300-500 words can be written very quickly. However, some days it's 5+ posts per day for 2 days, others it's 1 per week at best. Most of this is dependent on how long I need to work that day.

"The 1 per week at best" part is what worries me a little yet once per week is still very acceptable if it is not your usual rate.

For times where you aren't that busy and can post more often you could always have scenes with fewer people in it, for instance at the inn. There is also the possibility of making multiple adventurers and sending them together so it is less people waiting for you in those weeks when you are busier.

Mara still being imprisoned is a good question, I'll you and Hyena decide that.

About Overlords if your question is if we could take another one I'd say I guess yes, it's more a matter of there being enough adventurers.
