Character name: Kieri
Overlord or Adventurer: Adventurer
Background:
Kieri hails from a distant goblin tribe, following a long-time tradition. Once a year, the best of their new warriors is chosen. For a year, the chosen receives the best the village has to offer, the best food, the best training, the best mates. And them they are sent out into the run, not to return for a long time. Perhaps never. Kieri was one of the chosen, sent off into a quest without goal. It has been a long way and a long time since she's seen her native village, but she is here now, ready to see what the Dungeons have to offer.

Oh, I just realized I sent my character rolls to the wrong person (Aenon, because I was over in the character creation thread) Is there a way for me to resend or get you to see?

Edit: The roll URLS? They show that they were rolled all together I guess. I like this stat line but let me know if you want me to reroll. I'm otherwise finished with my sheet!

Hmm.  I never did try to actually roll for my character.  Maybe I should do that at some point.

I didn't PM it, I used the dice-roller's function where you can allow someone else to see the roll under their tab. I guess I will send a pm too though haha.

Hello c0i9z, long time no see. ^^

I checked your scores and I counted 25 out of 27 points, so you can still raise something.
And you are missing your CON save proficiency from barbarian which should make it +4, also missing a proficiency with a musical instrument and an extra language from your background, and the Nimble Escape feature from your race.
And as small creatures goblins unfortunately can't use two handed weapons because they are all heavy, they can use a versatile weapon in two hands though.

c0i9z

Yeah, I went away after the failure of my dungeon. But when I saw your recruitment post, I decided to try again from the other side.

Fixed the issues and posted in the forum you liked above. The weapon she's holding is now a refluffed lance.

Here’s what I came up with. I used the Noble Stat Line and some stuff from the Aboleth and Mind Flayer to make him focused on mental manipulation. I’m admittedly more familiar with 3.5 so if I’ve gotten the power scale wrong I’m happy to adjust as needed.

Enslave (2/Day): Leland targets one creature he can see within 30 feet of him. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be magically charmed by Leland until Leland dies or until he is on a different plane of existence from the target. The charmed target is under Leland's control and can't take reactions, and Leland and the target can communicate telepathically with each other over any distance. Whenever the charmed target takes damage, the target can repeat the saving throw. On a success, the effect ends. No more than once every 24 hours, the target can also repeat the saving throw when it is at least 1 mile away from Leland.

Innate Spellcasting (Psionics). Leland’s innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no components:
At Will: Command, Minor Illusion
1st Level(1 Slot) Sleep, Magic
Missile, Charm Person
2nd Level(1 Slot) Hold Person
1/day each: Charm Monster, dominate monster,

Skill Proficiencies: Deception +3, Persuasion: +3, Performance +2

ACTIONS
Whip Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10ft., one target. Hit: (1d4) slashing damage.

The time in Leland’s past before he became The Ringmaster is shrouded in mystery. Any who ask him to describe those long gone days will receive three different answers, each of which is somehow true and a lie at the same time. Suffice to say that he was a man of abilities so unremarkable that history had never taken note of him. Now however, Leland is someone of note. He is The Ringmaster of Leland Gaunt’s Carnival of Wonders

The first indications that most towns receive of Leland’s arrival are the shouted words of his criers. Men and women who enter the town and advertise the attractions to be found in the carnival. This is followed by the arrival of the carnival  itself within two days. The tents are quickly set up, and the circus opens its gate each night.

At first all seems well, townsfolk go to the carnival and are entertained. But after several nights things begin to change. People from the town begin to disappear yet no one raises an alarm. The performances, games, and other offerings at the carnival become grotesque and carnal, yet no one seems to notice. Eventually the townspeople see their wives, husbands, daughters, and sons taking part in the performances, some of whom are twisted into horrible monsters, and only then does the horror of what has transpired become apparent.

After this point there are only two possible results. The first being that it is too late and the entire town falls. The second possibility is that either through their own strength or with the help of others the town manages to fight back against Leland’s influence and drive his carnival off. In either case the end result is often the same. The wagons pack up, and leave the area for new hunting grounds.

For just over six years Leland has operated in this way, traveling the lands, and being a blight on the towns he encounters. Sadly for him, Leland has recently had a string of bad luck. He had found his carnival thwarted several times in a row. Most of his wagons and ‘performers’ have been lost. But, now he has a chance to win it all back. The assistance of the Demon Queen means that the show can in fact go on...

Petunia has been with Leland far longer than any of his other performers. William Stix

Status: Adventurer
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heteroflexible
Class/Level Fighter/1
Race: Beasthide Shifter
Background: Pirate

Backstory: William "Billiam" Stix served on a crew that did much of its business on a certain infamous coast, near a certain town infamous for its pirate overlords. He always felt destined to make a name for himself, but his wayward heart (and another part of him) always seemed to lead him astray. For every successful voyage there was a scorned lover taking revenge, or a jealous lover of a lover. One time he posed as a prostitute and ran off with a lady client's coin. A lady who just so happened to be quite entangled with a naval officer who was adept at hunting men down.

Long story short, the mess--and battles--he stirred led to him being..."excommunicated" from his "privateer company." But no setback could quell his heart for adventure nor his desire to become (in)famous! So off he sets sail in search of booty, thrills, danger and, of course, treasure.

Theme O/Os:
- NC/rape (Dubcon is fine, however. Like sexy succubi/fey/alraune etc. using pheromones to coax sex scenes with them, or vampires tempting him and drinking his blood during sex).
- Monster sex (Depends on the kind of monster. Nothing hideous or gross or penetrating towards my PC. Also, my PC can play a monster-like role and knot partners when shifted).
- Enslavement
- Body Modifications
- Pregnancy (My PC impregnating NPCs/monsters is all good.)
- Bad ends/loss of characters

Post rate: Usually daily to every other day.

Indeed he needs to be tuned down, a lot, Overlords start at CR 1/4. The aboleth's enslave ability is way too much, I'll have to take that away. The dominate person spell could be allowed though. Command at will is fine but Charm Person would also have to be a limited amount of times. As a spellcaster type he should also have a lot less hp.

Considering what you want, how does this looks to you

HP 9 (2d8), AC 11

Psionics: save DC 13
At Will: Command, Minor Illusion
1st level (1 slot): Charm Person, Sleep, Magic Missile
2nd level (1 slot): Hold Person
1/day each: charm monster, dominate monster

Urbanzorro

That’s fine by me. I’ll adjust his sheet accordingly. Are there any other changes you think are needed?

Checked your rolls and while your first set was indeed awful the second one was not, it is better than point buy, so I wonder why not use those?

Everything else looks good although you may want to check your O/Os with the overlord whose dungeon you go to. Also write a full sheet please. :)

I think that'd be fine. He is still above a CR 1/4 caster but since he has a weak minion that sort of balances him out. Copy the sheet on the respective thread.

Made the changes to Leland’s sheet as requested.

I’ll copy him over now.

I can use those if you prefer

Also, just to make sure, you want a stat block on the sheet in addition to/instead of a DnD Beyond link?

Yes please. I don't want people in the future rolling dice until they get higher than average scores. You can use the latest set to build another adventurer though, that'd be great.

Oh, I failed to notice the link. :P  but I'd appreciate it if you could put down a stat block too.

Jasia N'eth-Halym

Backstory:
Jasia was raised in an enclave of Ixalans who worshipped the Raven Queen, having learned of her from a charismatic traveler from far away who charmed their empress and became her favorite concubine.  When she was still a child, she was brought into the Raven Queen's temple and anointed as one of her acolytes, destined to travel herself and do the Queen's bidding.  She grew up reading sacred texts, hearing stories from the elder flock, some of whom had been alive during the time of the Traveler and had heard of the Queen straight from his lips.

Time passed in the way it did for their people, and Jasia eventually came to the time of her voluntary exile from her home.  She gathered the few things she would need to see her on her way, said her goodbyes, and set out in search of a doorway to another plane.  She traveled a long way, and eventually, she found what she'd been searching for, making her way into a plane brighter and more lively than her own.  This new place had many creatures she had never before encountered, and she felt the stirrings of excitement over the chance to explore and catalog each and every one.

It was while she was attempting to fight a strange beast with a large, fur-covered body and a feathered face with a sharp beak that she realized she was not equipped for her task.  Despite her magical skills, the creature battered her to the ground, and just before she was mauled to death, another being came and valiantly fought it away from her.  He bested the animal handily, then aided her to the nearest town so she could recover.  His name was William and he was a pirate quite skilled at fighting.  Not one to ignore the obvious, Jasia asked if he would travel with her for a time to help her in her quest for knowledge, offering him the lion's share of whatever gold or treasure they received since she cared little for wealth.

After spending a bit of time in that bright plane, the two moved on...finding their way to a place that offered them the chance for not only vast wealth but the opportunity to encounter beings from a great many planes and explore places they might otherwise never see.

Those who share your religion will support you (but only you) at a modest lifestyle.

You might also have ties to a specific temple dedicated to your chosen deity or pantheon, and you have a residence there. This could be the temple where you used to serve, if you remain on good terms with it, or a temple where you have found a new home. While near your temple, you can call upon the priests for assistance, provided the assistance you ask for is not hazardous and you remain in good standing with your temple.

Darkvision
Thanks to your heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Vampiric Resistance
You have resistance to necrotic damage.

Bloodthirst
You can drain blood and life energy from a willing creature, or one that is grappled by you, incapacitated, or restrained. Make a melee attack against the target. If you hit, you deal 1 piercing damage and 1d6 necrotic damage. The target’s hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken, and you regain hit points equal to that amount. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.

Feast of Blood
When you drain blood with your Bloodthirst ability, you experience a surge of vitality. Your speed increases by 10 feet, and you gain advantage on Strength and Dexterity checks and saving throws for 1 minute.

Sentinel Raven
Starting at 1st level, you gain the service of a spirit sent by the Raven Queen to watch over you. The spirit assumes the form and game statistics of a raven, and it always obeys your commands, which you can give telepathically while it is within 100 feet of you.

While the raven is perched on your shoulder, you gain darkvision with a range of 30 feet and a bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) score and to Wisdom (Perception) checks. The bonus equals your Charisma modifier. While perched on your shoulder, the raven can’t be targeted by any attack or other harmful effect; only you can cast spells on it; it can’t take damage; and it is incapacitated.

You can see through the raven’s eyes and hear what it hears while it is within 100 feet of you.

In combat, you roll initiative for the raven and control how it acts. If it is slain by a creature, you gain advantage on all attack rolls against the killer for the next 24 hours.

The raven doesn’t require sleep. While it is within 100 feet of you, it can awaken you from sleep as a bonus action.

The raven vanishes when it dies, if you die, or if the two of you are separated by more than 5 miles.

At the end of a short or long rest, you can call the raven back to you—no matter where it is or whether it died—and it reappears within 5 feet of you.

Spellcasting Ability
Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your warlock spells, so you use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a warlock spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Yes please. I don't want people in the future rolling dice until they get higher than average scores. You can use the latest set to build another adventurer though, that'd be great.

Oh, I failed to notice the link. :P  but I'd appreciate it if you could put down a stat block too.

Gotcha 👍

Bibliophilia

Let me know if I need to make any changes to the backstory between our characters, Rum.

Looks great to me. He'd have sworn up and down that he was a privateer when they first met, but even if she didn't easily figure out that he's a pirate, he would not have been able to hold back telling her his crazy pirate stories by now :D

Bibliophilia

-giggles.-  She will let him think she still believes him a privateer.

This could be the temple where you used to serve, if you remain on good terms with it, or a temple where you have found a new home. Hey, so I rolled up a decent stat array, aside from a 4, is it okay to just reroll the four?

Like, I've got a 15, 14, 17, 4, 9, 11.  Not super over the top or anything, and I'm perfectly happy with the nine and eleven.

I only rolled my stats twice, and hate to do a third one, 'cause that feels like reaching for the perfect set, you know?  I just...can't use a 4.
