Status: Open and ready to collab!

Salutations, my fellow Elliquents! My name is Sybillene; but for expediency's sake you can call me Sybil, Syl, my lady... whatever can please and sate my romantic-trash heart. I have been a part of the role-playing scene for over a decade, starting at the tender, awkward age of fourteen. Once I past through the awkward phase of my life and better my skills as a collaborative writer, I would hop from one online role-playing site to the next in search for a place whose sense of community and creativeness hangs thickly in the atmosphere.

That is why I have made the decision to join Elliquiy, so I hope that we could meet up and write some time! ^_^

But before that, let me give you a few pointers about myself and how I vibe as a writer.

| Writing Style/Length |

If you like a writer who cares about quantity and quality to the 'nth degree, then I'm your gal. I would consider myself as an advanced, literate, multi-paragraph role-player. I do not consider myself as a perfect writer, but it does not mean that I would like to try to achieve perfection in my writings. That desire of mine could be a great detriment at times, however. >.<

Can I find a way to match my partner's length without accidentally typing a post that has 1000+ words of more? Yes! Can I find a way to match my partner's length if he/she/they only post in one-liners? No. I'm afraid that I cannot do that, even if I try! I also prefer to not write in the whole *he looks at her* format. In order to write a story, you should write it as a story; therefore, the asterisk-style action cue is reserved for OOC chat only!

Given my years writing on various role-playing sites throughout my teenage years, I mostly write in an past-tense, third-person perspective. I can shift my perspective to first-person if it fits the narrative of the story (ie. a story based on the diary pages of the stalker and stalkee.)

| What I Like to Write About. |

What I like to write fits within the realms of the genres of comedy, fantasy, horror, modern fiction, and romance. I am not experienced in the genres of science fiction, historical fiction, accurate medieval fiction, and the cowboy-shooty-shooty kind of western fiction; and I have no interest in stories that involves real-world politics and catastrophes (ie. Nazis and the Holocaust, mass shootings, stories that involve views of extreme racism and sexist beliefs.) Whatever shite that is plaguing our world today should NOT be replicated here, since I prefer to choose this site-- and the desire to write with others-- as an escape.

Would that escape involve smut at some point in the future? Well...

Here's the deal. I do not mind if a story contains smutty or sexual content. However, my choice of partners who I would prefer to write smut/sex scenes with are very, very specific; which means that I will only engage in this type of "activity" with writers who are literate, advance, and are willing to write down intimate scenes with great detail. If a certain writer does not fit the bill with me, then those types of scenes will be shrouded with a fade-to-black transition. And if you don't want smut at all in your stories? That's totally fine as well! I did not join this site just for the smutty aspect of adult role-playing. I am here for the stories; and if a story invovles a sex scene here and there, then that's fine with me.

I should also add that any pairing (platonic, romantic, or otherwise) can either be between a male and a female, a male and a male, or a female and a female. I have no experience in writing as a character who is transgender, agender, or genderfluid; but it does not mean that you are unable to have a character who is whatever gender you wish for them to be.

| My Ideal Partner. |

What should I expect from my partner?

  • A literate partner who values quantity and quality (with more focus on the "quality" aspect of writing.)
  • A partner who loves to chat outside of IC story-writing.
  • A partner who does not mind to role-play in private messages or in the public forums. (I will not RP in platforms outside of Elliquiy.
  • An independent thinker who adds into the conception of a story, plot, or idea.
  • A patient partner who understands that the duties of real-life can get in the way.

What should I not expect from my partner?

  • A partner who defines themselves as purely dominant or purely submissive. (To be frank with you all, I am not the type of person who would define myself as dominant or submissive, nor will I define my characters with one of those two traits. They will be whatever they will be without that specific branding attached to their personalities.)
  • A partner who tries to "dominate" the story.
  • A partner who forces in kinks and plots that are completely and utterly unwanted.
  • One-liners and text talkers.
  • Abrupt ghosters. (I do not mind the rejection, but it would be nice to know that you have either lost interest in the story or have made the decision to just not participate in it.)

| Stories and Plot Bunnies. |

To Chase or be Chased: The Diary Pages of a Stalker and his/her Victim | Psychological Horror.

Has piqued interest!
Rated "M" for mature for the following: swearing; sexual innuendo and sexual content; violence; content that would be considered disturbing for those who were targeted by stalkers before.

Written in the first-person perspective, this story will focus on the diary pages written by a stalker and his/her target of affection. Where it begins as a relationship (or a lack of a relationship) between two characters slowly becomes a game of cat and mouse; where the cat follows the mouse to a place of no escape.

MC = Stalker or Stalkee.
YC = Stalker or Stalkee.

The Coming-out Party | Short-term Erotica; MxMxM.

Open for business!
Rated "VM" for very mature for the following: sexual content involving a male threesome and strong language. If the story goes along well and we make it go long-term, then there will be a polyamory MxMxM aspect to it.

Must be literate and detail-oriented to participate in this story.

Twenty-year-old Declan Truesdale has been a closeted homosexual for three years. Unable to bury his sexuality any longer, he confesses his love of men to two of his male friends. Oddly enough, Declan's friends are also gay; in fact, they are currently in a relationship. However, his friends are interested (if not excited) to show Declan how it feels to be loved by another man... or two men, to be exact. His friends are pretty attractive, so why should he refuse the opportunity?

MC = Declan Truesdale.
YC = His two friends.

| Pairing Ideas. |

The roles that I would wish to partake in will be in bold.

  • Prince/Princess x Bodyguard/Knight.
  • Knight x Commoner/Outsider.
  • Werewolf x Werewolf/Human. (I am not into the omegaverse. Sorry.)
  • Demon x Summoner.
  • Bare-knuckled boxer x Person who treats his/her wounds after each fight.
