It has been 24 years since the outbreak that lead to the zombie apocalypse - the end of the world. 95% of the population ended up infected, the cities and towns became too dangerous to inhabit. Groups no longer meet in more than half a dozen for fear that the larger group will attract even more of the infected.

For those without the skills to survive, life became almost impossible. He was a private before the collapse, barely eighteen, she wasn't even born. They paired up. He had what she needed at that moment. A gun, food, ammunition, and a mean attitude that would pull him though anything alive. She had what he wanted - a nubile young body and a willingness to fulfil all his sexual desires if it meant a full stomach and protection from the Zeds.

She doesn't even remember a world before a time like this. He can teach her about life before the fall. Can a romance develop between them when he owns her body and takes his cut every night, or will things remain purely transactional?

Looking to start the story "in media res" a month or so after the pair had decided on this relationship. He has some sadistic sexual desires he likes to indulge in, whether she shares a mutual masochistic tendency or simply pretends to keep him happy is up to my partner. Looking to tell a slice-of-life story as they try to survive the apocalypse together, alternating scenes between survival elements, bonding over a lost past, and dark, sadistic sexual impulses.
