I had looked at it as overlapping portfolios - being the keeper of the dead also makes Quinn a secret-keeper of sorts, and protective of her possessions. If you think it'd be more interesting to have them as opponents/enemies, where trying to steal secrets from the dead is something Satirev or his worshippers do sometimes, it's easily workable.
Quinn considers herself the caretaker and protector of the dead, not the owner, though that particular nuance could certainly be a fascinating discussion for the two deitys to have. Quinn is protective of those under her care and harming them would quickly make her into an enemy. I expect they would either start neutral towards each other or adversarial depending on how Satirev treats the dead.

Also, I added a picture for Quinn

Name: Iheia

High Concept: Futa Goddess of the Machine, the Motive Force, the Cog Turner, The Questor for Enlightenment and Secrets

Trouble: "As ever the cog turns, the logi magicka influences my outlook on life, I cannot stand the disorder and chaos around me. I must bring logic and order."

Additional Aspects:

Ever the designer and thinker she develops all kinds of plans for the machine and tries to share them though she is often self convinced that her idea is the best.

She does not understand nature at all and will often clash with the disorder and chaos it brings making her feel uncomfortable around the green that exists.

She sometimes will talk with no filter on, taking the most direct path to her goal even if people's feeling get hurt along the way. she will not sugar coat problems but at least has an optimistic outlook on most problems.

Sexuality: Bisexual but a leaning towards female

APPROACHES

    Bold: +2 Average
    Subtle:
    Clever: +2 Fair
    Mighty: +2 Fair
    Wise: +3 Good
    Swift: +2 Average

STUNTS
1. As her body is mostly machine she can adjust and modify it to better suit her needs and the requirements of the situation given enough time for her to work on it and implement the idea.
2. Able to draw the parts of the machine to her so she might fashion it into a device, taking what is broken and renewing into something else or something to fit with what she needs.
3. The machine is able to speak to her, telling what is broken within and allowing her with more complex machines to tell her some of the secrets they have hidden within them unless they are magically enchanted.

you know, been hankering for something like this since I played a few games of dominions.
Prudence, justice, temperance, courage, faith, hope, love...
debate any other aspect of my faith these are the heavenly virtues. this flawed mortal is going to try to adhere to them.

Culture: the ability to carve an intricate and beautiful bowl from the skull of a fallen enemy.
Civilization: the ability to put that psycho in prision for killing people.

I don't think he really cares for the dead one way or another. They don't have any wealth or possessions to be greedy or covetous of. They sometimes know things no one living does, but then so does he.

Maybe we could have an Orpheus inspired myth in our lore to explain a chilly relationship? A legendary thief who set out to steal a soul back from Death herself?

Metro: How do you think Iheia and Mirienne would get along? Mirienne would probably see it as her responsibility to try and lighten up Iheia.

I think starting out neutral would be good, it would give opportunities for something like that to happen in game.

As a side note, this is meant to be fairly soon after the creation of the physical universe right? The universe would still be fairly primordial and unshaped if I understand it right? How advanced is human civilization at this point? I was expecting not far past stone age. Also, this would start fairly soon after our characters come into existence as individuals right?

TheGlyphstone

Looks more like early Bronze Age to me? The description of the First City seems to map the earliest true cities like Eridu, right around when metallurgy was starting to become a science.

Empyrean

The impression I had was that the first society was just forming. So probably early Stone Age or Bronze Age was my impression.

Metro: How do you think Iheia and Mirienne would get along? Mirienne would probably see it as her responsibility to try and lighten up Iheia.

At first Iheia would be confused by her more excessively emotional nature and how she does not make plans but she is a patient one and would grow curious over time what these carnal desires are. Certainly could work the line of getting her to try new things. Iheia in return would try to explain how the world works due to machine influence and how that allows one to change themselves.

A god of machines is definitely going to be odd in a world that is still using Stone Age tech. I suppose the wheel would count as a machine?

I'll add this to the main post, but it terms of technology think Iron Age:

Technology varies from place to place. Bronze-working is common, and iron is the cutting edge; settlements that trade in iron ore or worked iron goods find wealth of all kinds flowing their way, and they are at the forefront of science and engineering. Food comes mainly from small-scale agriculture, with farmers both growing crops and raising domesticated animals, supplemented by hunting. What little surplus food exists usually goes to feeding the local blacksmith, if there is one, or to trading for iron goods or other necessities if there is not.

Most trade is done through itinerant tinkers, who wander between villages carrying news and various useful oddments, or at market if the seller is close enough to the nearest town. Trade is done by barter, although in some larger towns luxury items like jewelry circulate as a form of proto-coinage.

Empyrean

So has the world had time to evolve to this state of civilization or are the new Gods coming into being with the world already this advanced?

Hi friends, sorry for the late reply. I'm going to leave to leave this up until Monday, and then possibly kick things off if there's enough interest.[...]

Empyrean

So I wonder if this is still happening or not?

Empyrean

Any possibility of anyone taking over the game then, if Midday can't or won't return?

CountessYlva

I'd be open to taking over as GM if people are still interested. Got a fair bit of experience with running other types of group game, not much on this site but quite a bit on others.

TheGlyphstone

Certainly better than letting it die, so go for it!
